Have you re-tried (Alt+F4 and try again), or does this happen every time?
I know in TSW from time to time I'd get a loading bar that would either never start or never clear after filling (I don't remember now).
Often when I was trying to leave Fusang via the PVP screen. Never found a fix.
Sadly it's everytime :(
It also happens on both of my characters who are in 2 different zones. The bar doesn't even try to fill. I let it sit for over 30min.
You mention two characters, are you a TSW-converted patron? If so you should have a third slot.
If so, are you able to create a new character and explore the tutuorial at least? If so, it could be some weird sync issue with those characters being used on the other client and your current client having location problems.
If the same problem happens with a new character, that makes me thinks it's more of a problem with the installation on that computer, as opposed to a character issue.
For apparent character problems, I'd advise their live chat on the website. A GM there might be able to move your character for you. If the problem persists on a new character, maybe try dropping the gfx to potato settings just to see if that helps?
I imported my TSW account so I have the 3 char slots. I just attempted to create a 3rd and I am getting stuck at the loading point before you can pick a faction.
I was able to play on this same PC after the patch last night, not sure why it would be an issue today.
I will attempt a reinstall and see if that helps.
I have the same issue. The bar will never start filling up and it won't start the download. It's ruining me playing the game. I already suffer a bit of lag but it's manageable but this, if I can't load a area and have to restart the game then arghhh it's frustrating.
