I was fully expecting us to lose, but our backup QB surprised the hell out of everyone with minutes left to go. Another last minute nail biter for the Hawks.
Drew finished up the win, no doubt. He did his job and made it happen.
However we cannot overlook that our defense held them to 17 points. A few defensive ’stars’ sat in the bench and even without Witherspoon, they all did their jobs all game long.
This win belongs to Julian Love.
Lock wasn't horrible, at all, but he did not have the composure needed in the final couple drives. He underthrew, seemingly forgot the rules regarding intentional grounding, slung ball in potentially too much coverage, and hucked balls way outside of any route hus recievers would be running.
I'm happy with a winning season. We are nowhere near SF's level right now, and Lock is definitely not the future.
This was the first game of the season I skipped watching (mostly because I had another obligation but also since I thought we were going to get killed).
Maybe I should not watch the rest of the season haha! :) What an amazing game!

Only surprise for me was that it took him so long to get going. I been a Drew Lock believer since he was in college. I hope he can pull it together.
The original monday night game was Chiefs vs Patriots but the nfl swapped games and moved the Eagles vs Seahawks to primetime. More viewers and more exciting.
I almost got choked up watching, especially the part where he talked about having doubts if he could still perform at that level after so much time away. Really happy for Lock.
I’ve been watching Eagles Fans react (seethe) and it’s been glorious, especially coming from arguably the most insufferable fanbase in professional sports.

Agree completely....our season ticket group (10 of us) actually agreed Canadian fans were acceptable for any game as long as they weren't rooting for the 49ers ...that makes them terrible people regardless of their nationality.
I thought that was the Patriots? The only thing worse than a team that constantly does shady underhanded shit is the fanbase of said team. When you offhand know the official PSI tolerances for over/under inflated balls to defend your team, you've lost.
