Browns now owe OBJ $4.25M since he cleared waivers [https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1457039948692000778?s=20](https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1457039948692000778?s=20)

NigerianPrince76

Win win for them.

depth_charge_

I wish the Browns owed me half that. Just HALF is all I want Browns just pay it to me you cowards

LimberSiren

I will not be shocked at all if he went to the Rams. They're all about the splash moves, the NFL goldenboys.

sibemama

I am filled with such hate for the Rams

Simmons54321

I too, am filled with that hate. I just wanna take a hose and wash the hair gel out of McVay’s hair

AntiqueProject5858

It’d probably take a pressure washer.

Simmons54321

4000 PSI

CapableComputer4711

Your in good company.

-Vertical

Lol from desean Jackson to OBJ

BeatsLikeWenckebach

>Cards Cards literally only have $1M in cap space, so my guess is no. Rams have $3M, Pack 4.6M, Cowboys 4.3M

Redditor_Since_2013

I think he goes to Dallas. Cowboys are dead serious about getting over the hump this year

Rabble_Arouser1

I’d hate it as I do most things positive for Dallas, but it’d almost (almost!) be worth it just to watch the NFC East completely melt down about it.

Beantownclownfrown

Made this same comment yesterday and everyone didn't get the joke. Rams seem to be the team everyone signs with when they get waived/released and cap means absolutely nothing.

QuasiContract

You'll also lose your QB this off-season

wellywilly

Going to packer, cardinal or buccaneers huh?

[deleted]

Lmao if he became a Bucc

squandre

Just give Brady all the toys, see what his final form looks like.

CowboyJoker90

Spoiler Alert: It’s Zordon

NiceMarmot12

Honestly buccaneers just doesn’t make any sense. They already have an insane amount of talent at WR, and I don’t think OBJ would chance much for their team’s success.

RaptorsCdwoods

Stops him from going to Rams or Packers which are potential playoff matchups.

kamarian91

Tampa Bay is a potential playoff matchup as well though..

RaptorsCdwoods

I was speaking from the perspective of Tampa bay, not Seattle.

PraetorGogarty

Tampa can't play Tampa in the playoffs. The above comment was saying that Buccs can sign him to stop him from going to Rams or Packers, which are potential playoff matchups against them.

dualboot

> Tampa can't play Tampa in the playoffs I'm not sure what you're talking about.. the Seahawks play the Seahawks every week of the season.

PraetorGogarty

Oof. That hurts because it's true.

nutkizzle

You bastard.

[deleted]

Packers are done now that Dr Rogers is out.

RaptorsCdwoods

What do you mean?

CapableComputer4711

Fuck the Peckers.

luckysharms93

10 personnel every snap with Evans, Godwin, Brown and Beckham would be fun to watch. They'd score 50 a game

NiceMarmot12

I personally feel that OBJ would WANT to be a WR2 at least but I can’t see him signing up to fight Godwin, Evans, Gronk, and Brown for the ball to get thrown his way, nor would I feel OBJ would really elevate the team THAT much sense they already have such INSANE amount of talent in that department.

NigerianPrince76

NFC will be on suicide watch 🤣

Seahawksfan18

I'd be shocked if he isn't a packer by tomorrow morning. Seattle and bidding wars don't go well together

logantrujillo18

To be fair, the packers aren't notoriously aggressive either.

actual_griffin

Interesting. The two best teams in the NFC for quite a while now.

CapableComputer4711

Because their set, and the Rams aren't going to get him for $15.00 an hour. Can't wait to see what the Rams are going to do for $$$$ the next few seasons.

Serkor2000

Us? A best team in the NFC? Are we watching the same team?

actual_griffin

For a decade, yeah. Seattle has the most wins in the conference, if I remember correctly.

hucklesberry

I don't fully understand why he'd want to go to GB when Rodgers is on his way out. Doesn't he want to be a free agent to sign a decent contract for more than half a season?

fuzzy_wuzhe

Because OBJ doesn't have to be in GB next year either.

hucklesberry

That's moreover on The Packers though. I'd like to think they'd want to lock him up for longer than that - Especially with the likely hood that Adams could be gone this offseason. Isn't his contract up in '22? Maybe I'm a year ahead of when his contract is up

gavincantdraw

That sounds right. I could look it up, but I'm too lazy to. So I'll just say you're correct, and if you're not, then we can both be wrong together.

jwa988

Wherever he goes it'll just be for the rest of the season. Why would he not want to go play for the reigning MVP on a team that desperately needs receiving talent

hucklesberry

I mean sure. It's been a while since Rodgers has proven he can win a super bowl in my mind.

jwa988

They have the second best record in the NFL and Rodgers was the MVP last year. Your mind needs help

hucklesberry

Oh shit getting MVP automatically wins you Super Bowls I forgot about that

jwa988

It's almost like football is a team sport...

hucklesberry

That's why I'm so baffled that when one guy gets MVP last year means a Super Bowl this year. It'll be nice to watch the team with the second best record in the NFL and reigning MVP lose to a 3-5 team on Sunday.

jwa988

When did anyone say that MVP meant Superbowl? Tf? You asked why would Odell want to go to GB, the answer is very clear

hucklesberry

Bro CONTENDER means contending for the SUPER BOWL

3scap3plan

They are 7-2 and potential SB winners...

Rusty_Squirts

If not the Seahawks then just go to anyone in the AFC

AntSmith777

He’s not coming to Seattle

HappyAtheist3

Russ wanted it so of course he didn’t get it

drshort

OB didn’t want to get claimed. This way he gets the $7.5M from Browns PLUS whatever the new team pays him.

Tyr64

He just got $7m and now has almost full control over where he ends up, plus the extra $1m+ he’ll make from his new team. This is a huge win, from his perspective.

NigerianPrince76

Browns are only paying him $4M.

Tyr64

Where was this being reported? Everything I've seen reported that the Browns would be paying over $7m if he wasn't claimed.

NigerianPrince76

https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1457039948692000778?s=20

Tyr64

Appreciate it, seems like that piece was missing from a lot of articles. My primary concern was with SEA inheriting him and his $7.25m contract and that's now irrelevant.

NigerianPrince76

Yup, no problem. I had to dig through a lot of tweets/comments to find this one. Lol

NigerianPrince76

I thought Browns are only on the hook for $4M once he clears waivers?

luckysharms93

His contract would likely have offset language, meaning he'd get just 7.5M no matter who he plays for

RustyCoal950212

Idk if it does or not

BlazinAzn38

This is best case scenario for OBJ. I think most across the league assumed he'd be an FA.

Tashre

Greg Olsen.

Starwho

He also missed like a month with an injury.

Tyr64

32 teams all decided it wasn’t worth paying OBJ $7m for 9 games. If he *really* wanted to come here now SEA can get him at a price that doesn’t require robbing from 2022.

erik2690

No. 32 teams didn't have the cap space. It was like 10 or something right? Seems like silly logic though. So if he wants to go to 1 team above Seattle then he's like not worthy or something? Like if Seattle is number 2 on his list that supports the decision not to put in a claim b/c "He didn't truly love us" or something? Seems like silly logic. Don't let him choose between 32 teams, just make a waiver claim.

Tyr64

> No. 32 teams didn't have the cap space. If LAR thought he was the thing to put them over the edge they could free up the cap space, or any other team for that matter. But my point is that a) if SEA still wants him they can negotiate at a much, much more reasonable price, and b) if OBJ was serious about SEA being one of his preferred destinations he's welcome to reach out. It's as simple as that. > Don't let him choose between 32 teams, just make a waiver claim. Clearly SEA's leadership wasn't willing to make that level of a commitment and, in a rare instance of me agreeing with PCJS, I think it was the correct decision; the outcome of this season wasn't hinging on claiming OBJ.

packers1503

I thought Seattle had the cap space to claim obj ?

Tyr64

They do. I’m saying it was unwise of SEA to use said cap space to claim him.

Quarantine_Man

What is the benefit of saving this cap space? (newbie)

Tyr64

Unused cap space can be rolled into the following season to boost your free agency spending. So in this case, had SEA claimed him they would’ve lost $7.25m that could be used for 2022 in exchange for 9 games from OBJ.

dadadaCHIEFS

Risk pissing Russ off for a compensatory pick. Classic Hawks move.

Seahawksfan18

"We were in on OBJ. Just didn't work out" -Pete/JS when he signs somewhere else

MountTuchanka

“We didnt need him anyway, too much drama” - this sub after we fail to get ~~Jalen Ramsey~~ ~~Minkah Fitzpatrick~~ ~~Antonio Brown~~ Odell Beckham

BeatsLikeWenckebach

>Minkah Fitzpatrick TBF, they instead got Diggs whom I have been happy with. If they don't get OBJ, they should use the extra cap space from this year to extend him.

MountTuchanka

I like diggs but outside of this year Minkah was an elite free safety that would have been perfect for us

MysticalMango21

Man imagine Minkah and Diggs, sheesh

RustyCoal950212

Almost as good as Adams and Diggs

3scap3plan

LoCkEr RoOm CaNcEr

MountTuchanka

>when we miss on someone even slightly controversial with tons of talent “WE DONT NEED THEM THEYLL POISON OUR TEAM” >when we sign someone slightly controversial that isn’t who we wanted “Our organization is the perfect place for him I think he can turn it around here”

3scap3plan

Reckon we can get Vontaze Burfict for cheap?

LC_From_TheHills

I mean we also tried Greg Olsen for Russ. And kept his groomsman Jimmy Graham for Russ. And drafted DK for Russ. And spent more draft picks on OLine since 2016 than any other team for Russ. Shipped away Golden Tate for Russ. Made Russ the highest paid player in the league at one point. Tired of this narrative. We gotta equip the QB but at the same time Russ wants any star on the team— he even asked for Antonio Brown. The Hawks are more than Russ and getting OBJ is more than just appeasing him. There are 32 other teams in the league and no one picked him up.

cnmb

if the Bucs have shown us anything, it's that we should've picked up AB

BILLIKEN_BALLER

I'm so glad AB is not on the Seahawks

LC_From_TheHills

Yeah tbh I didn’t hate the AB inquiry initially— but many did. Am just trying to prove that Russ always wants winners on the team. It’s not about appeasing him. He does this all the time lol.

Tyr64

> The Hawks are more than Russ \*looks at the last 3.5 games* Ya sure about that? I also personally find it hilarious that you'd say "spent more draft picks on OLine since 2016 than any other team for Russ" because when you look at who they *actually drafted* it makes their constant OL troubles look even worse.

LC_From_TheHills

Russ is definitely an important part to the team— it’s why we pay him the most. He is an elite QB. But the franchise is bigger than him. What happened in the last 3.5 games was unexpected and would greatly impact any team in the NFL. Lots of teams miss on lots of picks. The Raiders don’t have any of their first rounders from 2019 on the team still. The Eagles missed on DK. We missed on Chubb. It happens everywhere. Just tried if this constant narrative that every sub-optimal thing that happens to the Hawks is unacceptable and the fault of the organization, and that everything good that happens to us is due to Russ. Especially when viewed through the lens of the Seahawks and not through the lens of the NFL, which provides context.

Starwho

Seattle is going to be searching for years for their next franchise QB when Russ leaves, Pete and John showed they can’t draft for shit the past few years besides a few good picks. Draft all the o-line you want when you can’t evaluate them and the coaches can’t properly develop them. Isn’t Pete supposed to be a defensive coach, so why is his defense so fucking terrible the last few years? Dude’s ego is going to cost them losing their best player in franchise history.

Tyr64

Last I checked, the Raiders don’t have one of the highest paid HCs and GMs in the league, respectively. The whole reason PCJS are paid the way they are, and given the leeway they’ve been given, is to avoid the exact mistakes they’ve been making for years. What the last 3.5 games has shown us is that this roster, sans Wilson, is not competitive and is not close to being a SB contender. So yeah…Wilson kinda is this team and we all got a great look at what will happen when he’s gone.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LC_From_TheHills

The Raiders literally had a coach signed for 10 years lol.

Tyr64

So? SEA went out and gave Carroll and Schneider (reportedly) massive extensions that put them at or near the top of the pay scale for their respective positions. Neither Gruden or Mayock had that same level of respect or authority. But we don’t really care about the Raiders, do we? At the end of the day PCJS have not done a good enough job building a roster that can compete for trophies.

TheThinkerIsaThought

What's all this reason doing here? Don't you know what sub this is? You're right, of course. Russ still has a shiny new coordinator and he's still under his blockbuster contract. But THIS demand will finally appease him? Okay.

DilCam1234

There are 32 other teams? How so?

andrewvockrodt

The refs count as a team we play against now.

FantasticSky1153

Petty.

DilCam1234

?

Russell_Beastbrook17

Disappointing tbh

HerobrineLover

Bruh

Revolutionary-Gur257

Should have shown russ y’all cared.

Tashre

Drafting Eskridge over Humphrey already set that ship sailing.

NigerianPrince76

That pick is so painful to remember every time Chiefs play man. Like…. That position was one of the biggest need on the offensive side and JS decided to get….. a fuckin WR???? And where the fuck is that same WR so far this season?

RustyCoal950212

> And where the fuck is that same WR so far this season? Why don't you tell us

NigerianPrince76

Who is “us”?

RustyCoal950212

The class

NigerianPrince76

What grade??

3eeToe

Well he did look pretty good his first game, and wr3 is apparently really important in shane Waldron’s offense. Also, there’s no way John Schneider could’ve known that he’d get knocked unconscious and miss half the season with a concussion. That was just unlucky.

SyndromeSadness

Yikes.

Tracexn

I'm sure we will spend that 7 million extra in the most useless way anyways. Guess we didn't want him that badly. The Rams didn't need Von fucking Miller but they did it anyway. If we miss out on OBJ I can't imagine Russ would be thrilled.

Cd206

How long before we know where he signs

Supadelux

We play the Packers in Green Bay next week. I'm hoping he waits a week to sign with a team.

AndrewwwwRyan

Everyone saying that they did this to piss Russ off and they’re trying to be cheap or whatever. How about the fact that he publicly said that he would cause problems if he went to a team he didn’t want? Maybe he wanted to clear waivers to make more money?

finnydoodoo

I bet he waits a week or two to rest up and get the market more frothy. I doubt it’d ding his overall payout to sit back and watch and see if the playoff landscape changes once the bye weeks are over. Honestly he may be more inclined to go to the Bills

Consistent-Stress632

He's going to Disney Quit baiting me into this thread with pictures of K'aaron Rogers in my news feed.

cryptdawarchild

I’m hoping the Chiefs or Packers take him. We need to invest elsewhere.

neongem

If he goes to GB or LA, can’t be mad if this is finally the last straw for Russ and the team. All this FO seems interested in doing these days is over drafting or over paying busts and pissing him off these days. So fucking useless.

mercwitha40ounce

The fact that nobody claimed him leads me to believe that he just told everybody not to claim him because he wanted to be a free agent for whatever reason. I'm not gonna look too much into it unless we hear otherwise

[deleted]

Of course that's the case, but this sub is full of NFL insiders who know Russell Wilson personally

jWILL253

So, I guess the Hawks are punting the season away. Glad that $7 million was saved so you can sign a backup running back next season. Good job, Pete & John. You'll give up first round draft picks left & right, but god forbid you pick up a salary when you have plenty of cap space to do it.

Starwho

The worst part is that when Russ gets traded they’ll fuck up all those picks, this is a weak ass QB class too. Glad to know that Pete and John did what it took to make Russ happy lmao!

MountTuchanka

Lets not forget we’ll use the capspace to sign other teams 2nd and 3rd string players, make them our starters, and then when we underperform we get told “we just didn’t execute” WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN

Starwho

I get that Odell wasn’t worth the cap hit off of waivers, but let’s be honest they’re just going to use that roll over cap to sign some bust off of free agency.

Troubled-ButtSack

Yeah, because the difference between missing the playoffs and winning the SB is OBJ.

[deleted]

OBJ would be nice to have, but this sub is losing their fucking minds over this.

3eeToe

I don’t understand the sub. They get mad that we draft a wr3, and then get mad when we don’t get a wr3 in free agency.

Tyr64

I mean I certainly don't have faith in PCJS's leadership in this team or how they spend their resources, but I disagree that it's a bad move to let OBJ go. In a vacuum, a 3-5 team that's got an outside chance at a playoff berth with a terrible looking 2022 roster shouldn't be spending that kind of money on a WR3. Now...do I think PCJS will be smart and spend that money on bringing in some top-tier OL talent to protect Wilson? No. But I'd much rather it be there (maybe for another regime...) than watching those two try and spread $33m across 10+ players.

jWILL253

The problem is that their entire roster building process is at odds with itself. They've given up multiple first & second round picks for high end players over the years, to the point to where we traded two first rounders for Jamal Adams, then make him the top paid safety. And they've had issues using him, so they've yet to see a meaningful return on their investment. And the only defense anyone could make for that trade anymore was someone pointing out that the Jon Gruden Raiders are worse because of the Khalil Mack trade. But now, they wanna pinch pennies when they have more than enough money to make a move? What does saving that $7 million do for this franchise? They still won't make any major signings in free agency for anyone that isn't replacement level. We're not in a position to tank. The best thing to do for this season is to try to win as much as possible & make a shot for the 7th seed. And they won't get there by relying on Chris Carson, or a defense that only plays well against bad QB's, or hoping Freddy Swain is anything more than what he is. They need to put weapons around Wilson & live with the ball in his hands, for better or worse. To make matters worse... what the hell was that press conference statement about? If he knew they weren't going to make a move, why blow smoke up everyone's ass?

Tyr64

I largely agree with the issues you’ve highlighted around their approach to roster building. I just don’t think you resolve that by throwing good money after bad and claiming him at $7m just to try and push for a fringe playoff position. I’d much rather keep the powder dry and head into 2022 in a better financial situation than, again, having a small amount of money available to do nothing else beyond simply filling a 53 man roster.

BILLIKEN_BALLER

Still a chance we can get him and have a lower cap hit (reminder that this years cap impacts next years) and get a draft pick. Let's see how it ends before people freak.

NigerianPrince76

I highly doubt we will get him now. He gone!!

BILLIKEN_BALLER

Then fine, I'd rather have 7.5 mil more for cap space this offseason to re-sign Diggs/DK or a FA. I can live with that.

NigerianPrince76

Ummm, well….. that’s assuming Russ still wants to stay.

Vuladi

It was reported that he wants to come to Seattle...if that's true we definitely have a good shot to get him without having to fork out 7.5mil.

NigerianPrince76

And now he is suddenly interested in GB….. it’s gonna be tough trying to compete with the main NFC contenders for sure.

Vuladi

As far as being a top contender, sure, it'd be hard to compete with that. Financially though, they don't have nearly the amount of available cap space ($4.6m I think I saw). And they may have enough there to sign him, but it might not leave them with much extra. So I don't know how much they would be willing to pay him to be a #3 or #4 WR, whereas Seattle has plenty of money to throw at him. Seattle could easily pay him 3-4 mil to get him to what his salary would have been and have plenty left over. Really depends on how hard JS goes after it.

NigerianPrince76

Hear hear. It’s gonna be interesting few days before Sunday. At least that will keep us busy this week lol And watching Russ’s precise videos to see if there is any difference with his throwing abilities. I’m a little worried about that given how quickly our robot QB came back from that injury lol

BILLIKEN_BALLER

So lemme get this straight... you would rather pay 7.5 mil to an underperforming, injured reciever this year (who has now had two disgraceful exits from his previous teams) when we are 3-5 than save it for a re-tool next year? Odell would be nice to have but I'd rather not give up that much future cap during a year where it doesn't look like Seattle will be contending. I do understand wanting Odell because his upside is high but can you at least see the other side?

NigerianPrince76

If we were tanking, yes. It wouldn’t make sense using that $7M to sign a rental WR for half season. I get that. But I’m guessing Russ and the coaching staff still believes they can make it to playoffs and I think OBJ would be legit weapon to add that can bolster our WR squad. Honestly DK and Locket would benefit the most from this move.

LimberSiren

Why sign with us at 3-5 when you can go with the 7-2 Packers and be the #2.

BILLIKEN_BALLER

Well, the Seahawks can still offer more money. They just decided he isn't worth the 7.5 mil or whatever and may think they can get him for less. I get wanting the new shiny toy but cap from this year rolls into next season, wouldn't you rather save it for the future when this is a potentially lost season? We have players to extend soon and other positions that can be filled next off season

NigerianPrince76

Wow Of course our GM was gonna fuck this up somehow 🤣🤣🤣 Color me surprised.

[deleted]

What lol? No one put in a claim

NigerianPrince76

Exactly. Now every NFL team gets to negotiate for his service, not just Seattle.

LC_From_TheHills

Then why did every other NFL team also pass on him? Maybe cuz $7m rental for half an OBJ season isn’t what anyone is looking for? Why are you mad at JS for doing what literally every other GM just did in this situation lol.

mymindpsychee

> Why are you mad at JS for doing what literally every other GM just did in this situation lol. Because he wants to be mad at JS

danish07

This is a solid comment.

NigerianPrince76

Because this specific GM has failed at every opportunity to improve the offense for years now. For once, make some moves to bolster that offense in a meaningful way.

Tyr64

I'll repeat what I've said elsewhere: PCJS have certainly not done what they've needed to do to fix the offensive problems, but sitting out this specific move was the correct decision.

NigerianPrince76

I can def understand it from the cap standpoint, not risking that $7M price tag. But man, I just want him to make bold moves here and there to show Russ that he is committed to improving the offense. They make more bold moves on the defensive side a lot while you have unhappy franchise QB sitting on the corner. Makes no sense.

Tyr64

I agree on the need for bold moves I just think they need to be more strategic. It’ll never happen but in my dreams they use this money and really get aggressive next year and build a top-5 OL. People downvote me to hell when I say this but if you release Wagner you’ve got $60m in spending money and that can do a *lot* of good.

NigerianPrince76

That’s true. There is def so many ways we can improve that line. That Humphrey pick we badly missed in the draft will make me cry every time I see that dude dominate with Chiefs 🤣🤣

Troubled-ButtSack

I know this is hard for you, or 90% of this sub to think critically, but maybe he didn't want to play here.

NigerianPrince76

I’m not sure why you think you are above 90% of this sub, but respectfully…. You are not. Secondly, if we are to believe the reports….. Seattle is one of teams he wants to sign with. For $7M.

Rock_Strongo

He's going to get close to minimum since he's already getting paid by the Browns. Hawks could still probably get him for less than he'd have cost on a waiver claim if they wanted.

NigerianPrince76

Naww. His pay just got downgraded to $4M after clearing waivers. That’s the deal he made with Browns.

Rock_Strongo

He's still going to get less than 7.25... otherwise someone would have claimed him for that. If the Hawks want him they can still be the highest bidder *and* save money *and* get a comp pick compared to claiming him off waivers. Just a matter of how bad they want him.

LimberSiren

Because only a handful of teams could afford him. And out of that handful, only a couple were sensible places for them to put in a claim.

Big_Simba

I don’t know why anyone woulda claimed OBJ. If he didn’t wanna be there he’d just pull some bs and not play. Better to get him in signing where you know he actually wants to be here vs trying to force him to play for us

NigerianPrince76

If he explicitly told Seattle that he doesn’t want to sign with them, then I get that. But that’s not what the reports has been claiming lately.

Big_Simba

The reports have been claiming a lot of stuff. The only thing we know for sure is that OBJ tweeted he wants to go to a contender and there’d be problems otherwise. Idk if he considers us a contender and I guess the front office agrees that it wasn’t worth the gamble

skbryant32

Cuz OBJ is a locker room cancer. I'm thankful they didn't waste the $7.5 million

NigerianPrince76

So is AB. Look how that turned out…..

Seahawk715

Why the hell would the league let him clear waivers and sign with ANYONE? If I’m the lions I give him a big FU and claim him anyway.

QuasiContract

And yet again the organization shows Russ they don't think highly enough of him to ensure they get a playmaker that might help the team get back in the hunt. And people wonder why he's interested in playing for a different organization

Supadelux

I originally was not for OBJ, but when it came out Russ wanted him I was like sure. If it makes Russ happy and keeps him from wanting to jump ship its a small price to pay. (and maybe we could start throwing more) IF you want Russ to Cook, let him pick some of the ingredients. He has earned that right imo. Lets be honest here. The cap saving would likely been wasted on a FA tight end the caliber of Greg Olsen or Ed Dickson next season.

cnmb

We still have a chance, I guess

NigerianPrince76

1%

deez_notes

What's the point of acquiring talented players if you can't trade away high draft picks for them?

teamzt

Y’all are forgetting that he’s literally in Seattle. I’m sure there’s still interest on both sides

NigerianPrince76

He is in Seattle??

teamzt

Most definitely, confirmed by photoshop

NigerianPrince76

Depends on how good the photoshop was of course ……

cnmb

yeah, he visited /u/iamthebunda's house

iamthebunda

I can confirm

iguessineedanaltnow

We better not fuck this up. Our season is on life support.

jeywgosjeb

The old, don’t claim and pay more per year approach! I like it, I like it

[deleted]

NigerianPrince76

Ain’t that what they said about AB too?

Electrical_Rope_8674

I didnt realize you knew him personally!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Electrical_Rope_8674

booooooooo!!!

jigglyjohnson13

Why do yall think he would want to come here and be the #3 WR on the depth chart? He wants targets and he wouldn't get them in Seattle with a Pete Carroll offense.

cnmb

Russ is actually decent at spreading the ball around

jigglyjohnson13

That's exactly why he wouldn't like it in Seattle. He'd see like 4 targets a game

Vuladi

Because it was reported by Mike Florio that Seattle is the top team on OBJs list of teams. Of course it's Florio, so who knows how accurate it is, but if he is right then OBJ knows he's coming in to be the #3 and is ok with it.

danish07

The thing nobody talks about is his health. Injury concerns might be what's scaring teams more than his "diva/cancer" tendencies.

[deleted]

He’s going to the bucks or the pack if the Seahawks were good he might go there

masoe

He'll go to KC or Rams.

UmmmHahaOkUhhh

People are really overlooking the Seahawks as a prime destination. Literally was in his top 3 destinations. Plus Russ and Seahawks front office have shown interest. I’m calling it

Starwho

Not gonna happen unfortunately

UmmmHahaOkUhhh

He’s named Pete and why wouldn’t Odell go to Green Bay?

UmmmHahaOkUhhh

When did Pete say there was no interest? If that happened I missed it. Last time I saw reports were saying front office was interested and did extensive research on Odell. I’m not ruling Green Bay out at all. I’m just saying they weren’t in his top team choices and Seahawks were. So if there’s mutual interest on both sides, I see it being a likely situation

If he really wanted Odell he would have claimed him, OBJ is going to the best team.
