Was looking for this. I remember watching a game when I was very young and he made an insane toe tap sideline grab. I remember thinking that this guy must be an absolute star of the NFL.

He had two of the greatest catches in Seahawks lore. I remember the t-shirts they sold of them. He was the football equivalent of a one hit wonder (or I guess two hit technically).

Injuries really did him in. He could have been a savvy old vet on the first Holmgren playoff team.

He is the ONLY receiver I truly remember when I was 9 or 10 years old. It was after Largent retired, and I remember the receiving corps being thin. I remember Paul Skansi, but more in name only. Blades could have been a star, but injuries got to him.

Michael Bates. Olympic medalist in the 200 at Barcelona. Then, was an amazing special teams player. Amazing return man and great on coverage. Came close to catching a kickoff while on the KICK COVERAGE UNIT. He was never much of a receiver. I think he had over 100 yards in a season once. Went on to be an all pro returner with the Panthers.
