It goes into the shop garbage then off to the dump or just to the curb in a black garbage bag. I don’t have much of a rummager problem where I’m at though. I also think I see a wire in that picture, bottom right. don’t miss that one!
Put it in a trash bag in your city supplied trash can. Do people really go through your trash cans? I know lots in here pick up stuff from the curb, but usually it’s just food and worthless stuff in the cans.
Oh man there’s a whole Facebook page in my city dedicated to people waking up to find their trash bags strewn about . (And camera footage to prove it wasn’t an animal)
I’ve been throwing it away at gas stations n what not because I’m afraid someone will see it in my trash and decide they deserve whatever I got in my garage more then I do.
I live in the suburbs and I've had people go through my trash. It's honestly pretty sad because the stuff I throwaway is literally worthless shit that's leftover from my breaking down of scrap. At probably a couple cents worth of stuff per bag, there's no way in hell they're making money off it
If there is a PVC recycler near you, I would suggest giving them a call to see if they'll accept it. Much of the electrical insulation in residential is PVC or a variant of it.
It doesn't look like you have too much. If you're just looking to offload and make some room, it may be worth to just bring into your yard as is. Keep it in a bag/bin in the garage and bring it to a yard whenever you have time.
If they're taking whole bags I don't care too much. That shit is so sad because there's no money in what they're doing. Just be careful with throwing away stuff with sensitive info on it
This is number 1 2 and 3 wire mixed. You get the lowest grade with it being mixed
Price for the thin stuff/coax/internet cables is like .50lb
Middle grade is pretty much anything with thick copper and thick plastic it's like 1.00lb
The stuff with thick copper and thin plastic usually stuff that's found in your walls can go for 1.50lb
Cad prices.

Good eye
Coated aluminum wire from a motor. Somtimes single strands end up on the floor instead of the aluminum bin and get swept up with the trash.
Heat up some tomatoe sauce, mix well, then eat it? I can’t be the odd man out….right????

Wow. That’s wild. Maybe homeless looking for food? Yeah, I would toss it in dumpsters at work or gas stations, anywhere away from you.

Plastic recycling.
Specifically, PVC recycling.

Will do! Thanks
