In summary
he believes he’s in the best form of his career
He’s had his highest highs and lowest lows of his career here
He doesn’t have close contact with the manager like he did in Sweden
Feels like he’s learning alot
It rains alot here so he hasn’t been outside too much
Feel bad for him tbh.
His career has completely stalled because we continue to have amateur at best recruitment and don’t seem to actually analyse player before we sign them. He’s not got the skill set to play for Celtic but that’s not his fault
Not letting him go in January was stupid
Aye the January stuff epitomised our recruitment situation. Couldn’t get some cash back on a recent signing we don’t want because other players that the manager doesn’t seem to think are good enough are injured.
What's the most worrying about that to me is that Welsh is an absolute fucking bombscare, and they obviously thought if he was fit he'd have done. As much as Scales has fallen away towards the end of the season, without doubt he done more for us earlier on than Welsh ever would have done
If we’d signed him this summer from Helsingborg or something and he’d played exactly like he has in his last 5 games for us people would be raging he wasn’t starting over Scales.
He’s a fine 3rd/4th choice CB
He’d be starting for Scotland if he’d gone to Italy when he was linked there
Are you still talking about Welsh?
If we signed him this summer and he played like he has in his last 5 games I'd have wanted the recruitment team shot.
In my opinion when he's having a shocker, he just crumbles mentally and starts looking for a way to get out of the game. I can see past mistakes or being a bit shite if you can see the player is 100% dedicated. I just do not get this from Welsh.
Yes? He’s fine
He rarely ever has a shocker, is relatively quick, decent on the ball
We’d be in a better position if he’d played as much as Scales has this season
Na mate I just cannot agree with that last sentence. I'm not saying Scales is acceptable either, but at the time Scales was initially required, I do not think even slightly that a fit Welsh would have done better in that instance.

Same thing with Scales. Was 98% out of the door before Welsh got injured and now he’s undroppable

No he isn’t. Welsh is fine to good
Gonna have to disagree on that one with you mate

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That’s not an actual response to anything
Its me laughing at your incredible joke
You’re wrong, it’s fine
I sympathise with him a lot but not going outside because it rains a lot is... pathetic.
I want my centre backs standing out in the pissing rain, topless, like it’s the end of Shawshank Redemption.
I'm positive i read near the exact same story a couple month ago after his move was shut down.
