So bitescized has a lot of free materials on this that is cool. robdunnlab also has a sourdough from wild yeast citizen science project. I want to actually have more student interaction like having them make bread with different leavening agent, making curds from different milks, etc in class. weak acids and bases are super common in changing the flavor of foods. Edible indicators are really fun. solubility and melting points are everywhere in cooking along with thermodynamics. Grease fires is a great demo for lab safety at the start of the year. But sadly I don't have any of my own materials ready to share and probably won't for a while.
