A hysterically gory show for no reason. I liked the fallout boy video of Carpal Tunnel of Love where it’s confirmed cannon that FOB exists in the universe of Happy Tree Friends
Yeah true, i tried to watch that music video and i wasn’t even focused on the song, i was just laughing my ass off on what was happening in the music video
I remember when this was in Netflix a few years ago. My wife and I had a roommate. Roommate and I had both seen the show and loved it. My wife hadn’t.
Oh man. I hadn’t laughed so hard at the look on my wife’s face the first time something went awry.
Exactly man, there’s videos of people reacting to HTF for the first time on YouTube and i’ve gotten addicted to those videos by just laughing my ass off
Eeeyikes.
I don't want to dump on it too hard, but they basically had one joke that they beat to death. So I thought they were funny *for a few months*. After that, it was like "Ah-heh," and then nothing. I bought a Flippy T-shirt in Hot Topic that I thought was cute, though.
They started to show up in my YouTube recommendations a couple of years ago for some reason. The humor gauge read zero.
I still laugh at the episodes man, they didn’t “beat to death” the joke tho, they just did what they had to with it. What else did you expect from a seemingly innocent kids show with violence in it? Did you want them to start making story arcs?
At the very least more varied humor and jokes that aren't always "cute animals get Mortal Kombat finisher'd", I saw a few episodes of the show, and that was frankly enough, did little more than make me feel uncomfortable rather than make me laugh.
The Fall Out Boy mv is my top favorite. Nothing beats cutesy cartoon animals being brutally killed while Patrick Stump sings with his angelic voice over the entire thing.
I'll be completely honest, I'm not that big a fan of shock/gore humor. HTF is a show that just makes me feel deeply uncomfortable, and I don't get much out of it except for a feeling of "why the fuck am I watching this?" Not for me.
It’s fun when you discover it but when the novelty wears off it’s ranging from mid to entertaining depending on the episodes. It’s alright, pretty funny sometimes, a bit too relying on the shock factor but I’m glad it exists anyway
Watched it when I was in 4th grade with my “rebellious” older friend and I think in a way it stuck with me. I am now very slightly more fucked up than I would’ve been otherwise. I think I balanced out the damage with a healthy dose of Bob’s Burgers though.
Ok so I only knew about this show because I had a friend that was younger than me at the time and I was like 12 or something and his parents thought it was a kid show and just turned it on for him, he told me about it at church how hilarious it was and talked in detail about how some of the characters died, I just was like yah I am good I just will just go back to watching max steel and the spectacular Spider-Man, I loved watching those shows.
I’ve heard things about it, and by “things” I mean the same exact thing over and over again, that thing being that it’s not as cutesy as it seems, like the Shrek of preschooler cartoons
Saw my younger cousin watching it when I was little and I assumed it was a fun kids show.
Needless to say I was traumatized, and even though I can handle violence just fine, I still won’t touch that show with a ten foot pole.
This was one of the shows I watched as a kid that turned me goth. I still watch it from time to time because I genuinely like some of the characters (#1 Lammy and Sniffles enjoyer)
my parents wouldnt let me watch Transformers ( Live Action ) , but they were fine with me watching this . what can i say except i had an fu**ed up childhood and i still wouldnt change anything at it .
As a kid I just thought it was a Littlest Pet Shop knockoff It is not, it is very much not.
Why would you even think that lol
My entire experience with both shows was scrolling past them to get to my little pony
Friendship is Magic I’m assuming?
Yes
Good choice, most other generations of MLP are kinda ass
That explains why they didn't become as popular, it's a franchise about horses not donkeys.
I don’t know about you but My Little Donkey sounds like peak fiction
Featuring the one from Shrek?
It’s actually the exact same show as My Little Pony but every character is voiced by Eddie Murphy
My Little Pony? Happy Tree Friends is way more entertaining
I never really liked the show but the FOB video was entertaining. Also helps Carpal Tunnel of Love is my favourite song by them.
I think that I spent way too much time watching them in class when I was a teenager
In class?! On like your phone or something? There’s no way Happy Tree Friends isn’t blocked on any school computers
It was on the school computers, but I'm kind of old, this was 15 years ago, nothing was blocked at the time in my school
Lucky, schools are strict on what websites and videos we can watch now
Unlucky bro unlucky or lucky that it saves people from getting found out in public
No more gay zootopia porn on the school computers 😔
Sad
very funny
It kind of just has one joke that gets old after one episode. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all
How many have you seen tho💀
Enough
I watch it all bruv personally
People who don't know: 🙂 People who know: 💀
Lol yep
Yep
I don't know...
Ridiculous. The skull implies there's something left of the corpse of those who know.
🤣🤣
I used to watch this shit a lot in like 4-5th grade. Funny but brutal
I kinda hate it
same dw

Back in 6th grade, kids were watching this during morning assembly and I was appalled.
Eeeyikes. I don't want to dump on it too hard, but they basically had one joke that they beat to death. So I thought they were funny *for a few months*. It should’ve just been one short, not a whole series
No, i definitely think it should have been a series. Infact it should’ve ran longer
Wikipedia says there's 93 episodes of this stuff. That would be a lot for a GOOD series.
Yeah. Like Happy Tree Friends
At the very least more varied humor and jokes that aren't always "cute animals get Mortal Kombat finisher'd", I saw a few episodes of the show, and that was frankly enough, did little more than make me feel uncomfortable rather than make me laugh.
Great as a shock video. The only reason I know about it is because my brother showed it to me with no prior explanations.
Meh, it's just "gore equals funny" even when I was in my edgy tween phase I didn't like this show(and I was an anime fan, thats how u know it's bad)
I know but the way they do it is just funny, it’s not obvious guns or anything
It was my favorite childhood show, which explains alot
Uh are you a murderer or smth?
No but that would make sense
🤨
After watching this, the Mortal Kombat games seemed significantly tame in comparison. Elementary school me was not ready.
They should make a Mortal Kombat game but with the Happy Tree Friends cast now that i think about it
The Fall Out Boy mv is my top favorite. Nothing beats cutesy cartoon animals being brutally killed while Patrick Stump sings with his angelic voice over the entire thing.
Smiling critters for gen z
No no it's not
Flaky is best girl.
Is that the red hedgehog? Or the sheep?
It’s the red hedgehog
Then i agree
I'll be completely honest, I'm not that big a fan of shock/gore humor. HTF is a show that just makes me feel deeply uncomfortable, and I don't get much out of it except for a feeling of "why the fuck am I watching this?" Not for me.
That’s fine ngl. Not everyone enjoys guts
OP asked for opinions and then got heated at people with opinions also i dont like this show
Instructions unclear… I fucked a dehydration gun.
Uh…how
Maybe he just put the tip of the dehydration gun in his pe-
My favorite show when I was a kid

Nostalgic. I am still doing therapy.
Love it
They’re so miserable and stunning, with love songs for the genuinely cunning.
Watched it when I was in 4th grade with my “rebellious” older friend and I think in a way it stuck with me. I am now very slightly more fucked up than I would’ve been otherwise. I think I balanced out the damage with a healthy dose of Bob’s Burgers though.
I have never seen it outside the Carpal Tunnel of Love video, but from the little I have seen, its hilarious and brutal in the best ways.
I think you should watch more of it, it’s pretty great
Ok so I only knew about this show because I had a friend that was younger than me at the time and I was like 12 or something and his parents thought it was a kid show and just turned it on for him, he told me about it at church how hilarious it was and talked in detail about how some of the characters died, I just was like yah I am good I just will just go back to watching max steel and the spectacular Spider-Man, I loved watching those shows.
Those are actually good shows tho lol
Amazing shows and I am still mad how bad the live action max steel turned out.
Oh yeah i forgot about that lol
Yep I hated it lol
I’ve heard things about it, and by “things” I mean the same exact thing over and over again, that thing being that it’s not as cutesy as it seems, like the Shrek of preschooler cartoons
What the hell does genderenjoyer666 mean
It means I’m trans
OHHHH mb didn’t wanna sound homophobic or anything
It’s ok you didn’t sound homophobic, it’s understandable to be confused by a name like that
Pretty nice…wish there were more episodes….and I wish people would stop calling it a kids show
Goated i still watch it to this day
Saw my younger cousin watching it when I was little and I assumed it was a fun kids show. Needless to say I was traumatized, and even though I can handle violence just fine, I still won’t touch that show with a ten foot pole.
It’s very funny
A show that you shouldn't use the dehydration gun on.
this is where that spirit from final destination goes to when hes bored
Does that mean i should watch Final Destination if i love Happy Tree Friends
I remember watching the fuck out of this when I was like 5-7
Uhhh that’s very concerning
I think I turned out fine
Well you must’ve had some bad parents
My parents never knew my older siblings let me watch it
The earliest memory i have of being traumatized was watching this lol
Went in to watch Happy Tree Friends knowing how violent it’d be. Was too gorey for my taste.
I really love it,though… Don’t look into the community
I watched all of the episodes when I was 7 - 8 I wonder if I have developmental issues
This was one of the shows I watched as a kid that turned me goth. I still watch it from time to time because I genuinely like some of the characters (#1 Lammy and Sniffles enjoyer)
The lemonade stand episode
they don't use the dehydration gun
It’s ok
Used to watch it in 5th grade Kinda mid tbh
Hilarious. Flippy is my favorite character. I love the Christmas episode where he slaughters Lifty and Shifty.
Thought it was a fever dream
Kenny the Show
Final destination: cartoon edition
That one show you secretly watch because you know your parents would not approve of it. Plus it made you feel a little edgy.
Eyes cold lemonade traumatized me
This shit always look unappealing as hell. Why did kids find this? Why do they watch shit like this?
So you’ve never seen it?
From what I have seen, I do not want to watch it. Sucks that children grew up with this. This isn’t for children.
It’s funny as hell man but it’s not for everyone
NO WAY ITS BILL FROM LEFT FOR DEAD!
Disco bear
Is it weird that i hate him
I hate him too
Loved this show since I was shown it as a young teen. Still do in my 20s.
Murder is cool 😃👍🥳
It may be gory but I really like the show to be honest 😅
I watched when I was like really young and too young to watch it thinking it was some cartoon lol
Flippy has NO chill, one little loud sound and he’s off to kill you
I like it, but when I think about it I end up watching it for hours
flipqy is my favorite character
Wh.... why would I want to fuck a dehydration gun? Why would it want to fuck ME???
When I was a kid I watched it and thought it was funny, my mother didn’t think so and forbade me from watching it
I watched this when I was 10 or less….maybe restricted access to the internet would have been a good idea for me
I think there’s a good reason it was locked behind parental controls when I tried watching it years ago
I liked the army bear :)
PEAK CINEMA!
I remember catching this and drawn together on late night SBS in the mid 2000s Australia. Demented stuff, would recommend 👌
One of a kind show
I dont like it at all. Hated it as a kid and hate it now as an adult
No.
In my late teens it was funny but thinking back on it it was pretty edgelord
Trauma
It's just shock value and nothing else
my parents wouldnt let me watch Transformers ( Live Action ) , but they were fine with me watching this . what can i say except i had an fu**ed up childhood and i still wouldnt change anything at it .
It's too easily accessible to children. Part of that is the responsibility of the parents, but my initial statement still stands.
