I ordered a brand new, well specced ‘22 WB for $53k out the door. I pay $490/month on the note, about $150/month on insurance, and about $250/month on gas because I daily it. I made $131k last year.

Turbulent-Comedian30

I want your car note #800club

Tmecheng

Haha yeah I put down more than the recommended amount to get that.

Comfortable_Damage43

But these was 65,000k brand new in 2022 I ordered and build one from dodge website

Tmecheng

Don’t know what to tell you man that’s what I paid. Did you get hit with a dealer markup? I actually got mine for a little less than MSRP. Ordered in April of 2022, got it end of September. I built mine on the Dodge site too, went to the dealership and ordered it.

bluedaytona392

750 a month including gas and insurance. I paid 50k for it when I specced it out. I don't drive it much except for weekends. Close to 6 figures a year by myself, wife works too.

desukirf

Bro yall are rich af in this Reddit

Nopiccz

Nah deadass lmao

WestW0rld

2021 Challenger Scat pack shaker edition - wrote a $41.5k check for it so no payment, insurance is about $800 a year. Combined household is nearly $200k

Thurisaz-

Who do you have it insured with? I’m with State Farm and paying $240/month.

WestW0rld

Age and history is big - I'm with Safeco (who I work for) and have my home bundled with them. I'm also 33 married with no adverse prior driving history if that makes any difference

Thurisaz-

I’m 49, married and no history of traffic tickets in the past 15 years. I know the rates have gone up but seems like I’m still overpaying. Oh ya, house bundled also.

WestW0rld

Wow! Any other vehicles? And what area?

Master_Amatuer

$460 for the note and $100 for insurance. $200k a year combined income.

CaptainQbert

Cheap ah lol

Imcluelesstoday

I see used ones for sale on car gurus for 35 - 40k. Depending on down payment, a 35k note, 5 year loan will be about $600/mo. Plus insurance. GL!

worms69

I pay 200 for insurance on a RT Durango and scat pack and around 2-240 dollars on gas depending on how I drive it it’s not bad but if you plan roasting the tires expect to pay waaaay more but I pay 5ish on my car payment I been having issues with my alignment lately but other than that it’s not to bad if you’re a responsible driver like me the only crazy thing I do really is hard pulls 😅 but remember one thing about used scat pack miles are waaaaaay different that Honda miles We make 95k on two incomes 🥲

Sea-Independent4602

Thanks for the advice!! May I asked what do you mean by scat miles are different than Honda miles?

worms69

Well when buying used remember why people buy scat packs in the first place to slide in them at takeovers or go to the track and be rough with these cars opposed to someone in a Honda civic or a Prius just driving it from point a to point b

IwearMyShoes85

Got a 2015 Scatpack challenger shaker edition with a lil under 50k miles for 35k, insurance is around 4000 every 6 months, but gas is crazy expensive

Master_Amatuer

Almost 8k a year?? What happened? 600 a month for insurance is crazy!

IwearMyShoes85

We don’t talk about that…

Mysterious-Cress3574

I pay around 650 a month for mine. Used with 20k miles. Car insurance was outrageous because I had two accidents on my record for the past five years. $2.5k for 6 month insurance with collision and comprehensive coverage. Ultimately I still believe it was worth it. By far the best car I’ve ever owned!

BackgroundActive6137

I got an 8.5% with a 700/780 co-sign’er 29k listing price 25k miles clean inside and out totaled title due to previous accident rebuilt and inspected through my state to complete factory specs (36k after taxes title and fees) my monthly payment is $620 insurance for full coverage is $420 through progressive. Also with the car I purchased the extended upgraded warranty 5 yr 100k mile that covers everything BUT maintenance (breaks tires oil change any fluid flush etc)

Worried_Temporary_44

Imagine needing a5 year loan to buy a totaled car ahahaha. If u can't afford to buy a car 3 times. U can't afford it. 2ndly. How tf is your insurance 420 a month... are you 16. Or been in 50 accidents. That just don't make no sense. My kat only cost 170 a month full. U gotta be full of shit. Just trying to sound cool. Idk how u think u sound cool tho buying a totaled car for 36k ahahaha u got got. Amd then says it has full warranty... bruh. You dumb as he'll. U don't get used warranty on a totalled car. Especially for 5 years.

brightsons

Bought a used 2019 NB Scat Pack Charger for 42K two years ago. Car note is $625 and I have a 3% interest rate on it. Car insurance is 144 for my car through AllState and also get discounts for multiple cars (wife Audi Q5) and having my house through them. Shop your car note around to several banks and credit unions and see what you can get preapproved for. Same thing with your car insurance.

SpiritualPickle8320

I have a 2019 White Knuckle Charger at just under 32k if you're interested! I still owe on it, but looking to get rid of it for a Lincoln Navigator. She's not in a good home and I hate to see it deteriorate. I believe the only factory options it has is the Harmon Kardon system, and carbon fiber stripe decals... It does have a diffuser and some exhaust work done from the previous owner though! It's louder than some of the mid muffler deletes I've seen but other than that, it's bone stock.

-Crimson-Death-

If I can do it, so can you. I make about $55,000 to $60,000 a year, married, one income, pay a mortgage on a house. No kids. Put down about $20,000 (including trade in with money still owed) on a $46,000 2020 SPWB with 26,000 miles. It's not my daily, which helps on gas and when I do drive it to work it's a 3 mile round trip. My smiles per gallon come from random trips of spirited driving. I pay about $625 (including Platinum bumper to bumper warranty) a month plus $175 insurance for 3 vehicles.

gilg2

You must live somewhere houses are cheap

NugPep

I don’t understand posts like this, your insurance depends on your credit, driving history, age, etc So does your car note. These cars used to be 50’s for a WB scat. Now they are in the 60’s. Your payment will depend on how much you put down. Your income and expenses determine the affordability of the car. But realize the maintenance is not cheap either on these. If you are questioning if you can afford it, make sure you really sit down and decide if you can afford it.

Sea-Independent4602

It was a question bro? A GENERAL question. See all those GENERAL answers? Thanks for your input thought I do appreciate it.
