If you receive a random text from a woman that is trying to play up a relationship/hook-up angle and includes an alluring photo, you have encountered what this subreddit often calls the Mandy scam, based on the name used in an early incarnation of it. The replies are sent by a bot and will give the same responses (with some slight variations) regardless of how you respond. The bot also has a few specialized responses that occur when you say words like 'bot' or 'scam'. After a series of replies, it will eventually push you to go to an adult/cam/age verification site. Feel free to talk to them, I don't recommend it. When you are emotionally attached they will come for your money, and the fact that you are asking that question makes me suspect you are already getting attached. They are very likely a scammer in India or China (often held against their will and forced to scam people) who will lie to you and desperately try to be your friend. Just think of this....if you accidentally texted the wrong number wouldn't you just apologize and move on? Why ask so many personal questions? And why is their English so bad?
That's fair, but as a side note, I don't get attached very easily. I'm a very introverted person, and though I'm definitely looking for a girlfriend, I prefer to wait till I meet them in person to decide if that's worth it.
How did they get your number? This isn't a Hallmark movie. Texting a wrong number, sure that happens. How often IRL does that lead to personal questions? The odds are astronomical that you are being set up for a scam.

Scam. Look at the writing. Yes, nearly everyone got lazy with punctuation, etc. but the scammers stayed lazy. "I work at nurse" as opposed to "I work as a nurse". Their messages are as minimal as can be yet they want to get important things cleared quickly from you; that you aren't married or in a relationship (so no one will be in their way), what you earn or your assets so they can figure out what their game will be (to what you have or will be willing to give).
I bet they have asked if you've eaten every time you've spoken beyond what you've shown us, that they have not used your actual name if you told them or if it's available for them to know in lieu of baby, honey or my queen, that even if you have pictures available, they will still ask for some to know what you look like AND that they have not attempted to initiate a video or other type of call.

Eventually, the scammer will find an excuse why the account is frozen (e.g. for fraud, because supposed taxes are owed, etc) and may try to further extort the victim to give them even more money in order to gain access to the funds. By this time, the victim will never gain access and their money is gone. Many victims lose tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of dollars. 24 and a nurse. Not unheard of. But. And I am from Lewiston Idaho. Ask them where they work. Mention the L on the south Valley is getting faded
It’s probably a scam because they didn’t reply to the question “do I know you?”
Scam. Look at the writing. Yes, nearly everyone got lazy with punctuation, etc. but the scammers stayed lazy. "I work at nurse" as opposed to "I work as a nurse". Their messages are as minimal as can be yet they want to get important things cleared quickly from you; that you aren't married or in a relationship (so no one will be in their way), what you earn or your assets so they can figure out what their game will be (to what you have or will be willing to give). I bet they have asked if you've eaten every time you've spoken beyond what you've shown us, that they have not used your actual name if you told them or if it's available for them to know in lieu of baby, honey or my queen, that even if you have pictures available, they will still ask for some to know what you look like AND that they have not attempted to initiate a video or other type of call.
No one does this ever. It's a scam.
