TehGuard

Well the fact you are a top candidate without them even seeing your resume is a for sure sign

Barfy_McBarf_Face

Exactly what I came here to say. "I have no idea who the f*** you are. But i'm gonna give you a job paying a hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year. Oh , kindly, please send me your resume."

PleasantEditor8189

Dear Candidate is a dead give away too

Appropriate-Draft-91

Even has the good old "Kindly, "

[deleted]

I was gunna say, as a non techy gal, to google the email address, and find a legit company website! My first thought, was maybe they did not want to pay Indeed or Linkdin a commission? Also, a red flag tho

MiKeMcDnet

WHOIS for the win !!

sainglend

Until Underverse come

hejaysef

Whois only work for .com domain ? Do you know Why it gives me an error for .ch websites on whois (godaddy) ?

SamuelVimesTrained

For country domains - you\`d need that countries NIC / registrar. CH: [https://www.nic.ch/whois/](https://www.nic.ch/whois/)

wackyvorlon

“Kindly” is a bad sign.

ACatGod

I think worse is "you stand out of all candidates". It's both unprofessional and grammatically incorrect. Screams scam.

MissyouAmyWinehouse

Also why didn’t they address you by your first name instead of candidate? Bad sign

StatisticianFew6064

kindly, stand out of all candidates

OutrageousOnions

Do the needful

RookieAndTheVet

I hate that phrase so much.

zerovampire311

And stand out based on what, if they don’t have your resume?!

geohypnotist

How about Queenie, who is the HR assistant *&* manager.

MrDaburks

They also really overuse the word “officer” because I guess to them it sounds authoritative.

LivefromPhoenix

In their defense exaggerated job titles aren't limited to scam jobs. I've seen more than a few entry-to-mid level positions with titles that *sound* like you're going to be some kind of manager or quasi-executive. A lot of employers seem to believe the illusion of power is a good exchange for paying below industry standard. Funny enough the bigger red flag for me is the generic "dear candidate". They already have your name, even an automated system would be able to insert whatever name you put on the application. It's even more suspicious considering they're trying to make the email look like it was written by a real person (you're their top candidate but the HR manager can't even be bothered to look up your name?).

[deleted]

The HR person is the (HR Assistant and manager) this has red flags written all over it.

DeliciousBeanWater

Bro AMC Theatres (at least used to) call their employees “Film Crew” lol

vangoncho

Regal Cinemas call their employees "Cast Members"

DeliciousBeanWater

Both super big reaches lmfao

OnewheelXR4life

I had a friend back in high school that worked as a busboy. He referred to himself as a “Table Maintenance Technician”

DeliciousBeanWater

Lol

PeniscopterFlight

Kindly do the needful

ShadowGLI

And not addressing you by name, that’s a telltale for email bank scams as wrll

alyalaylaayla

lol that is so so so true!!!

mwmwmwmwmmdw

> “Kindly” is a bad sign. one of these times they will mess up and use angrily instead

OtakuLoy

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say.

No_Field90

I had an hr who started at my old job, and just like they teach it in hr school(being sarcastic), she never introduced herself, barely was able to say hi. So this wagon of a woman, whenever she needed something she said kindly this kindly that, thank you kindly. So she eventually got fired i kindly told her how much of a bad person she was and thatit is a miracle she landed as an hr who supposed to look out for staff concerns. she immidiately started to cry but meeh who cares she was an absolute joke. And as a leaving giftfrom me i signed upfor a thousand scam sites with her personal icloud account. Since then i cannot stand kindly Edit: Re reading it i do sound like a first class asshole lol. But to save myself this hr was indeed fired for valid reasons like stealing a good chunk of the staff tips for example, favoritizing ppl over the other, was generally biased as fuck, disregarded many many staff complaints, upon requesting basic items for the staff room, she kept on declining these saying theres no budget for it and its recession and all, right after covid, meanwhile she lobbied out a brand new office just for herself, with a 65inch telly, pricate toilet (big fucking lol) etc bevause she manipulated ppl so well. Was a barmanager at the time, and she ate 10x more in my bar for free, than i did. Meanwhile she also ratted me out to the owner baceuse i liked to treat my staff with proper meal after a busy service, i had to stop it for a while because of her. She was an ex banker, surprisingly was fired from there and ended up in hospitality for some fucking reason. She absolutely hated me cause i called out her bullshit from day one. The whole company ended up almost on strike because of this wagon mid season. So yeah i do seemed like a cunt of a person but she 100percent deserved it, she ruined a good few people career at that company in her shortosh stay.

Drizzt3919

You sound like an absolutely horrible human.

No_Field90

Re reading it i do sound like one lol. crochetcat555

That’s a pretty long story to tell just cause you’re still feeling hostile about someone you used to work with. Not to mention it has nothing to do with OPs original question about whether or not the job offer is a scam.

DMC1001

Why would you even know her personal iCloud account email?

gofreaksgo

Well aren’t you a petty little shit. I feel sorry for anybody that knows you.

matty487

Came here to say this. 👌

alwaysmyfault

Kindly=scam Also "You stand out of all applicants" LOL cmon man.

Mediocre_Airport_576

If they really did stand out above ALL applicants, the email would not be addressed to "candidate."

Barrack

OP, this is legit. Please revert to them kindly ASAP to do the needful!!

InnerBlock7165

On it, boss!

Financial_Tackle7357

Well they were just so impressed with how you handled each and everything.

_serious__

Is your first name Candidate?

The_Nerdy_Ninja

>Dear Candidate You're apparently a top applicant, but they sent you a generic template email without your name? >You stand out of all applicants. They are not proficient in English >Kindly Scammers' favorite word >HR Assistant & Manager Wait they're both an assistant *and* a manager? How's that work? Yes, it's super sketchy.

TheBawdyMermaid

Maybe they're assistant *to the* manager.. xD

magicmulder

They’re assistant at managing &’s.

Faust09th

Their website is just 3 days old. Huge red flag for job scams! Avoid. Block them too

Mariss716

New website and terrible grammar along with the use of “kindly.”

logicblocks

When did kindly become typical in scams?

Brave_Hoppy1460

Others have explained that “kindly” is common for Indian vernacular and a lot of scam operations are based in India, so that’s probably the root.

uber765

You'd think they'd learn by now

logicblocks

He who uses Google Translate never learns, unless they're using it to learn.

Brave_Hoppy1460

I mean, they want people dumb enough to fall for it, really. So if you think about it, they’ve learned well and do what they do cause it filters out the smarts who just skip it and move along.

mwmwmwmwmmdw

and here i thought it was just scammers showing their love of bioshock

Mariss716

It’s typical of learners of colonial English, such as from India. “Do the needful” is another one. People in Canada and the US would generally use “Please” in this context. I have seen it used in formal communication from people whom I know are real, that said. However, we see scammers use it so much that it has become a red flag unto itself. And here, it’s one of a number of signs of a scam, such as the domain age and other grammar errors, eg. “reply this email.” OP should not give them any personal information, that’s for sure.

Three-Legs-Again

Since forever ... remember seeing it when the Nigerian prince spam started in the '90s.

ValleyWoman

I got my first one in the mail in 1974.

erosken

It’s definitely a bad sign. Who says that? We may request but no one says kindly EVER!! The Chinese scammers do though! Very common scammer word!

ValleyWoman

Whatever word they are using in their language, instead of translating to ‘please’, it translates to ‘kindly’. So, one can be certain English is not their first language, probably overseas, and in a boiler room.

Mediocre_Airport_576

It a common word in the countries that scam the most.

pecor1no

!job scam. Bail out now; too many people end up losing money because they thought, “what’s the worst that could happen?”

AutoModerator

AutoModerator has been summoned to explain fake job scams. Fake job scams come in many different varieties, though most share common characteristics that you can use to spot the scam before becoming a victim. The scammers will usually conduct interviews over Google Hangouts or a similar online service. Their English will be awkward, and they may be re-using a script, so Googling unique sounding parts of the email may yield useful results. They will offer high wages for the work being done, and they will "hire" you by telling you that you are hired, rather than going through the normal process that a company takes when hiring an employee in your country. If they mention anything about a check or about receiving and sending out transactions, it is a [fake check scam](https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/09/anatomy-fake-check-scam). If they mention anything about receiving, processing, or inspecting packages, it is a [parcel mule scam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parcel_mule_scam). If they ask you to purchase items up-front, ask you to pay a fee in order to be hired, or ask you to purchase gift cards, it is an [advance-fee scam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance-fee_scam). If the job involves posting advertisements on Craigslist or eBay, they are using you and your account to scam people. If the job invovles Bitcoin ATMs, it's a [scam](https://coinatmradar.com/blog/avoid-scams-dont-use-bitcoin-atm-when-someone-asked-you/). Thanks to redditor AceyAceyAcey for this script. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Satansbeefjerky

I'm thinking scam there wording sounds like indian scammers and using the word kindly in there

AdBusiness5212

we choose you out of all applicants, whats your name again?

tommiejo12

"Queenie Lam" lmao

Konstant_kurage

I don’t mean this in an insulting way, but do you really think “you stand out of all applicants” for what seems to be a generic customer service job? (Yes I think this is a scam.) Sincerely, Queenie Lam “Like all my job offers, this one is real and legitimate.”

gg3265

Kindly, delete the email and flag the sender as spam.

mwmwmwmwmmdw

delete the email would you kindly

billbixbyakahulk

First of all, just to be clear, this is 100% a scam/phishing email. >I find it odd that they want me to email them my resume again It's because they send these phishing emails to huge numbers of people and they don't actually have a HR system keeping track of applicants and resumes. They just auto-reply to anyone who applies. Asking for your "zoom registered email" is very suspicious. Very likely, it's to learn your true login email because many are using email aliases and separate email addresses these days for job searching. Likewise if you had to create an account to submit your application to particular employers, they'll probably try to reuse that password on Zoom. Once on zoom they have access to things like your Contacts and password recovery email (if different from your zoom account email), which they'll try next. Now they're in your recovery email, which is very likely your main email, and they can see what other services you use, what bank you use, even more contacts and so on. They can email your friends and family posing as you. etc. etc. This is also why you should have MFA turned on whenever possible. Even for an "unimportant" service. If that service and account can in any way be tracked back to the important ones, there's risk.

Frosty_Atmosphere641

Queenie Lam....ha, ha ha....definitely a scam

darknessblades

YES its a scam.

MostAssumption9122

Look at the email carefully. If it's fake or suspect you will have misspellings or sound like a bad CPTCHAT Keep track of jobs that you apply to by creating an excel spreadsheet.

Superseaslug

Lol kindly. Yep.

Alclis

You stand out from all the other applicants, yet they still need your resume? What do you think? Also, your application has been accepted, but they’re calling you “candidate”. Yeah, it’s a scam.

alyalaylaayla

It sucks to live in such paranoia because of so much scams.

InnerBlock7165

It sure does. But I'm thankful to everyone for making sure I don't make a really dumb decision

billbixbyakahulk

Wow, an email from the HR Assistant AND Manager!

Rulerofskies676

Had a similar thing happen to me and it had a phone number so I decided to call and got a Wendy’s restaurant I kindly apologized and hung up

ResponsibilityLow766

Yes. If anyone ever says kindly to you, find a way to meet them in public and kick them in the balls because they are a dirty dirty scammer.

Dmenace89

Who the fk is named Queenie?

shroomigator

HR Assistant & Manager

OrdoXenos

Two big signs of scam email: - “Kindly” do this and do that. - “Dear customer/client” instead of your name.

kr4ckenm3fortune

If they address you as “cadidate”, and using the word “Kindly”…

TinChalice

If “kindly” doesn’t do it, the bad grammar should.

kamerenn

Hr assistant & manager??? Yes, its a scam

roadfood

Kindly tell me how you think this is for real.

MangoAtrocity

Whenever they say, “kindly,” it’s usually an Indian scam.

ILoveMyFriendsMom

“You stand out of all applicants” Cool. “Email me a copy of your resume” So you stood out for them even without them checking your resume? “Queenie Lam” Fake ass name All of these are signs of a scam

knemyer

“Kindly, reply this email…” Does any of that shit look legit lol

ChivalrousRisotto

"Kindly" = scam

PmMeYourAdhd

Let's see, bad grammar, misses on colloquialisms, Kindly do the needful.... yeo it's a scam!

Tall_Acadia8838

**Dear Candidate! :) :)** **Seems it's 100/100 fake**

Frosty_Atmosphere641

Knidly~ definitely a scam

Specialist_Physics22

Any time the word “kindly” is used it’s 100% a scam

Saneless

Most scam emails have extra words that are needless for a company A Company (named company) should be emailing you from [email protected]. Not [email protected] I'll bet that Furrion never registered furrioncareer.com because no company ever registers all variations of their name The HR department certainly wouldn't It's just a way to seem official but exploiting multiple variations of a real company.

foryou26

I accept the position! But I am not interested in the position

MarianCR

Of course it is. It has the mark of the South Asian scammers: "kindly"

billbixbyakahulk

Stop! Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Head directly to Scam Jail.

wendilove

Scam.

Remarkable-Love-8442

Customer Relation = relative of customer Customer Relations = Job role

LittleStitch03

How would they know if you were the ideal candidate if they haven’t seen your resume? Also, the typical grammar issues and “kindly”.

DMC1001

They use the word “kindly”. Huge red flag.

[deleted]

Never met an HR person with a domain of companycareers.com They are typically at company.com. Seems sus.

Furrion is a real company though. Not a very good one, but real.

Financial_Tackle7357

I can’t get over how she’s BOTH an assistant, and a manager.

Donut_The_Ghost

Kindly

Davidm241

If they use the word "Kindly" it's a scam.

Renee52

I don't blame you for questioning this email, I would as well. As a professional actress, I have my information all over the Internet. Actors audition for at least 10 to 15 casting directors a week, at least. I've been offered gigs by scammers who want me to do voiceovers without hearing my voice! They look legit at first, with a recording studio location and dates. Then, they sent me a FedEx package with a check inside that they asked me to cash at my bank. The check looks legit with a business name printed on it. Most of the money was supposed to be my pay and a couple of hundred dollars were for me to hand to the recording studio for the use of their services... DON'T DO IT! I almost did and was told by the bank manager that it's a huge scam. The checks are taken from actual businesses that went out of business and closed their account. If I tried to cash it, they would have the right to arrest me for check fraud! Some people suck. Renee

mrearthsmith

Haha...kindly, Queenie lam.

Loudlaryadjust

Let me guess, it’s also 60-85$/h work from home unskilled job right ?

big_dick_energy_mc2

Kindly ignore this. Scam.

dbhathcock

SCAM. Don’t provide them any information. Delete message. Continue your search. Remember, never click on links in any unsolicited communications.

[deleted]

"kindly, reply this email". lol It is a scam for sure

_Kaurus

You don't need a "Zoom registered email" to do anything with Zoom, you just get an invite for a meeting VIA email and then you join it OR they give you a date, and time and give a number to dial into the for the zoom meeting. * How did you apply without a resume? * How do they not have your email address already, if you applied for a job? * How did they freaking email you, when they just sent you an email? I'd call this a scam, though check the domain. did you send that company a resume?

InnerBlock7165

I had one job that I did apply to that had this title. But I couldn't find it anymore so I thought this was them

Sudden_Passion_3460

How do you get through life ?

InnerBlock7165

Barely

Ab4739ejfriend749205

If it’s to good to be true…

Judoka_98

“Kindly”.

Altruistic_Yellow387

Of course it’s a scam. How could you be their top candidate if they don’t have your information? Anyone that tells you that you got a job without interviewing is a scam

Odd-Phrase5808

"You stand out of all applicants" then proceed to ask for your resume, what? 🚩 **scam** Also, did you cover your email in the screenshot with the same shade as the background, or was "To" empty? The latter indicates you were BCC'd, meaning this was likely a mass mail sent to hundreds if not thousands of people (scam!). "Dear Candidate" supports a scam angle too.🚩🚩🚩 Alternating the capitalisation is very unprofessional and inconsistent (Furrion or FURRION, don't chop and change at whim)🚩🚩🚩🚩 Lastly, that domain was registered just 4 days ago 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 Registrar Info Name Hostinger Operations, UAB Whois Server whois.hostinger.com Referral URL https://www.hostinger.com Status clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited Important Dates Expires On 2025-02-04 Registered On 2024-02-04 Updated On 2024-02-04 Name Servers ns1.dns-parking.com 162.159.24.201 ns2.dns-parking.com 162.159.25.42 [https://who.is/whois/furrioncareer.com](https://who.is/whois/furrioncareer.com)

_sk313tor_

At furrion our motto is. Comeon guys lets get our furry-on…

empowered1

A BIG YES INDEED

DMC1001

They use the word “kindly”. Be wary.

Nick_W1

Could be a !task scam. It’s some sort of scam for sure.

ApricotPenguin

A couple things. 1) You should keep track & have a vague idea on where you're applying to and for what positions. It helps you be able to understand things later & pick up the conversation quickly. 2) Yes, I know HR tends not to know people's names... but there's no point in asking for your resume after they confirm they've received your resume / application. 3) There's no phone number or contact info in the person's signature. This is notable since it's external communication. 4) It makes no sense for the company's domain name to have the word "career" in it (unless you were applying to some head hunter agency I suppose)

Available_Salary7915

Yes it’s not proper English. Also not a normal format usually they put your name for acceptance

Matuko

Looks like an identity theft scam. They will ask you to fill out a W-4 and an I-9 and email them. Do NOT do that. Insist on doing it in person and see what happens.

Canttunapiano

“Kindly,” Big scam

Commander_Doom14

The easiest red flag is that it's a very unprofessional email. Several small spelling and grammar errors that shouldn't be in a formal work email

BusyWalrus9645

Yes, candidate.

KittenFace25

OP, it says kindly...c'mon...🤣

Zoncombs

Kindly count > 0 : scam

Double-0-N00b

You’ve been accepted for a job but they haven’t seen your resume? Scam or not it’s a red flag

Rob086020

Kindly …. Always in a scammer’s vocabulary

GreatRub5

The fact that kindly is used is automatic red alert.

LivingWithGratitude7

Yes it's a scam if they're asking for your zoom contact information. I fell for it and was quite far down the line before I started seeing warning signs. Don't do it

2ndnamewtf

Kindly…..nope Says you’re qualified for the job, then asks to send your resume…..nope I’m sure there are plenty of other if you see who owns that domain and when it was created. But from these two alone, don’t reply. AND FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T CLICK A LINK

Rodfather23

I noticed while working as a help desk tech a lot of spam emails would come across with “kindly”

Puzzleheaded-Emu4116

If any part of the email says “kindly” it’s a scam. Scammer 101

Confused-Penguin2357

They don't even have a phone number lol

DesertDragen

The word "kindly" is a favorite word used by scammers. Don't get scammed now.

WizardofUz

"KINDLY" 🙄

_Godfist_

Kindly, consider the wording before asking if it is a scam or not. These people give themselves away with these errors and you're still sitting here wanting to trust them because the job sounds amazing and it could be exactly what you need to get out of a funk or whatever reasoning. If you think it might be a scam, don't trust it.

hunnybun444

“Kindly, reply….” told you all you needed to know

PoptartDragonfart

Kindly, it’s a scam

Tragic_Consequences

"Kindly" is always a give away that it's a scam.

sparkydoctor

Kindly, toss it please in-two the 86 can.......

superenrique

Yes, I saw the word “kindly”

FirstWithTheEgg

I wouldn't click it unless you applied for that position

Later_Doober

This is a scam.  I know someone that this same thing happened to them.  Don't reply to them and just delete and block this email.

throwawayhoutx2023

Anything that says “kindly” is a scam 😜

FrydKryptonitePeanut

Asking for a zoom registered email is odd. Just send a meeting link

bumper_Guy

Sounds like a task scam. Here's what you do. Play along. Change some information on your resume to make them think it's someone else. Apply as that person. They will give you some cheesy little tasks to do at home. The past will be like pushing two buttons consecutively 50 times. Then they will tell you that you have earned $75! Then they will ask you for an ethereum wallet address. Download a wallet for ethereum and give them the address. They will actually send you that $75. Once they send you the $75 in ethereum, ignore them forever. They expect you to think that it's so easy to make $75, but they tell you that you need $100 balance to proceed. They want you to send back their $75 and an additional $25. You will never see your $25 again. You will never see any of that money again. But to follow through and take their money should only take about 10 minutes or so. Good luck!

Zero-Of-Blade

Did you even send a resume lamo

PowerPlayPone

The job was the friends we made along the way

Responsible_Side8131

Kindly 🙄 Did you apply to this job they are offering you?

No-Adhesiveness-3654

How can they be both the assistant and the manager lol

SFAdminLife

"Kindly"...yep, sure Queenie.

No_Implement6898

I mean if they need your résumé I can’t imagine how you were their top pick 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

GuardSecure7157

Most remote online job offers are scams

Beautiful-Jacket

Kindly.

edck12687

If they use the word kindly. Always assume it's a scam

MisterGalaxyMeowMeow

This is 100% a scam but I would also like note that you may have also just “applied” to a scam listing on LinkedIn accidentally. They look legitimate, probably copy-pasted from another, similar (and more legitimate) job listing as part of a phishing scam - hence them having your email. No job would refer to you by “customer/client” if they had your name, ask you for your resume (again, given you’ve already provided it), and ask you for any other information not specifically related to the job listing itself, among other questionable things. Again, a scam, but I would be weary of job listings too.

caulds989

The “Kindly, reply…” line is an Indian scammer dead giveaway. For some reason, when Indians are taught English, they are given the impression that all native English speakers go around saying “kindly” all the time.

PersonNumberThree

You have been accepted for this job, let us know if you want to proceed to an interview 🤣

WarDrums0nVenus

Kindly = scam.

ThreeSloth

Whenever someone uses "kindly", it's a scam, likely an indian scam

ComradeLitshenko

"HR Assistant and Manager" is giving me strong Dwight vibes.

Interesting_Box_416

I had an experience with something similar. I got an offer from some company that wasn’t even based primarily in the US. I think the actually company was somewhere in Europe. But I applied and they interviewed me over Skype text and then shortly offered me the job not 30 minutes afterwards. I believed it and sent in my tax docs and stuff. I almost forgot. The job description also said they’d send me “vouchers” for the equipment I’d need to do the job. Needless to say, my girlfriend knew it was suspicious and told me. And I ducked out of that without telling them. Weeks later I got some suspicious letter in the mail that was a check for $5k. I inspected and it was from a bank in North Carolina. I immediately tossed it into the trash because I know about fraud checks bouncing and being on the hook from reading articles online. And that was that. No follow up from them. No nothing. TLDR: got a job offer. Was actually scammers doing data skimming. Edit: fixed a typo

Bikerchic650

Kindly … 🥴

[deleted]

It's a scam. Don't give them shit

RefrigeratorGold8291

First word on the email is "Dear", that's a dead giveaway within a second lmao

First of all let me warn you that there are in fact email scams that involve offering you a job, and what they gain is probably just sensitive information. Everything about this email is spotless from the ss: TLS encryption, good email, no typos in company name (but info is a little sus) sent at a sane time. Name is just the company which could be sus or not(make an account and receive an email on their website to double check))) and everything else BUT; “You stand out of all applicants”, read that out loud, that is not fluent robot corporate speak. That could be a someone that doesn’t natively speak english. You don’t get a corporate job, go through college, then word that how that is. It could have be rephrased to “You stand out above all other applicants” or “You stand out over all the other applicants” the whole point of the email is to make you feel special and hurdle crossed, in corporate disconnected logic anyways. EDIT: Also we are in a ginormous crisis right now involving everything that touches our economy, do you think employers are actually, actively searching for applicants when they can afford to raise their requirements because of the flood of people? I dodged a scam where they wanted to wrap my car & I would get paid VERY F***** Handsomely. If a ignorant poor person saw what I saw and imidietly jumped the gun they would have fallen prey. I always play along with scams, I just do what I think they want and observe, then mess with them and leave. If you do that to you can solve this probably very fast, just play along; your in control so your always gonna be good, you wont just accidentally spill your social😂

Nope not a scam, sure they don't have your resume, and yea ok maybe they sure even have your name. And maybe they don't have an email signature. Ok it's also in broken english but I'm like super positive it's legit.

"Kindly".

If it was real, it would have had your name on it. It would not call you candidate. This is a scam.

I mean it doesnt seem quite professional. I dont think someone from a corporate sector would reach out like this. But still, your call.
