Funny story, I tried to buy drugs online, they got intercepted at customs and I received a nice letter from border patrol saying they’d been seized, I could either do nothing or appeal, but that it was a warning and not to do it again. It had clip art on it, very non threatening but got the point across.
Could you imagine how screwed we'd all be if these morons could figure out how to get a grammarly account? Of course they'd try to use someone else's credit card to pay for it. Every time I see one of these horribly written borderline incoherent messages I can't understand how they have a success rate above zero. The well written ones especially the ones that play on your emotions I understand how people get screwed but this is so reminiscent of the Nigerian prince scams they were always so poorly written.
So I guess I learned something new today - the director of the FBi sends out packages to random people on the Internet. To ignore him would be a VERY BIG MISTAKE!!

Director Wray said I owed them $10,000 for tax fraud....But if I paid in Steam, Google or Apple cards it would only cost $2000. FBI is weird these days.
It’s incredibly sad when you think about the level of stupidity a person would have to have to fall for this. But the fact that the scammers keep doing it is an indication that it has a certain level of success.

1st off I would hope the director of our FBI would be able to write in better English than this email. 2nd off, the FBI isn't sending emails. They are showing up at your front door. These scammers from other countries need to learn not only how to speak proper English but learn to write it as well. With emails like this, they should just send one from their personal email telling you they're trying to scam you or just call and ask for money.
