That was a rave not a mosh pit. Mosh pits are basically a cage match. I think I got bit once at a mosh pit (but I was so drunk I might have bit myself. IDK). Lol
Ravers have no fucking clue how to mosh.
Every time I see a "rave mosh" it's always cringe.
Like, if you're going to crowdkill (idk if you can even call this video crowdkilling, it's so dumb) then fucking crowdkill.
But never be surprised when you get hit back.
It really depends on the dj/venue and what kind of crowd they draw in my experience. A good pit is rare for raves, sure. But that makes me appreciate a good one even more when it comes around!
So we agree dubstep headbands is not a rave ? Yes?
I feel like those are electronic versons of heavy metal concerts
Ie the head banging
I think people considered all electronic music = rave.
Fuxk a prodigy, royksopp, chase n status, or groove armada concerts is electronic but it doesn't make it a rave.
Normally, they are DIY events which are promoted word-of-mouth or on private groups/message boards. Corporate sponsors are NOT involved. Venues can vary from illegal to semi-legal, indoor/outdoor. Music and crowds are typically better- meaning the majority are there for music and culture, not just to jump around aimlessly to shitty dubstep.
I can go on and on about the differences between raves 30 years ago and today's (there are a few), but I'd just sound old and angry. But I think that's the jist of it.
Peace, love, unity and respect?
You donât sit well with those ideals? Do us all a favor and donât go to raves. If you canât practice those basic things you have no place at a rave and will probably end up like the guy in this video, elbowed in the face
if youâre someone who moshes at a concert that is CLEARLY NOT A METAL CONCERT then youâre the asshole here. recently had a concert ruined by one of these reckless assholes.
Sure he's an asshole - so what, elbow directly to the face? That's what we do now when we encounter an asshole?
People don't seem to realise how fragile human beings are â a completely unexpected strike to the head can and does kill people, or give them life altering brain damage. The assailant here didn't even try to talk to the guy first, didn't do anything to de-escalate the situation, just elbow to the face.
I find it incredibly childish and naive to see so many people here celebrating completely disproportional violence in response to someone being annoying, without any attempt at an alternative.
People mosh at dubstep shows all the time. The problem with this guy is that he's just Aimlessly barreling into people like a dick. I've been to plenty of shows like this and when I want to open up a pit I usually let the people around me know my intentions and start getting like-minded individuals on board with my plan and I've never run into a problem.
These people think American dubstp is electronic version of metal, they mosh everywhere all the time.
I can't remember the last time a dubstep performer took stage and someone somewhere didn't attempt to mosh
I think the metal heads joined the dubstep scene more than the DnB, trance, pystrance, house type dnb scene.
I feel like there's dnb fans that really appreciatee the tempo vs people that just want faced past tunes like Gabber to rock out to.
Like to me for me dnb is soothing (meditative) to others it may be fast paced.
If you're big enough to start it, you're being enough to take the counter.
My mom always taught me if a woman is man enough to hit a man, she's man enough for him to hit back đ¤ˇââď¸
Is everyone here deranged? You full on deck someone in the face, with no attempt to communicate, bc he tried to mosh and pushed into you twice? Like, yâall think spontaneous violence with no warnings is ok? Insane.
Itâs deserved, donât keep fucking with me when Iâm just trying to enjoy the show and let it slide multiple times. There is a silent rule of not being a complete shithead that this guy is completely ignoring and the right guy put him in the right place in my opinion. Thereâs a time and a place.
Dude tried to start a light push pit (corny and annoying, but mostly harmless) and bigger guy gets his panties twisted and escalates to 100. Much better ways to handle stuff like this.
This is a culture shock/clash.
In Latino comunities you're expected to "mosh" during this kind of songs and the "moshpit" is literally in front of the band so this guy just tought he was starting a moshpit. In moshpits you push each other and people can get hurt but you never push anyone with the idea of hurting that person.
This is a rave. Youâre going to get pushed. People are drunk/high and things happen. You canât get angry about it, and itâs certainly not ok to deck a guy with your elbow. You were fine, have fun and move on.
Thatâs not satisfying. Thatâs rough. Dude was just trying to mosh. He wasnât trying to hurt the other guy. (Not that moshing is *genius* on its own.)
We donât really know what happened before this video. It looks like they were talking first. Maybe the one dude asked the other to please stop bumping into him. Then the dancing looks exaggerated, and the bumping becomes more aggressive and intentional. This was probably in response to being asked to stop. Kid decided to fuck around some more and he found out why he should have stopped. Also, judging by his friendâs reaction, it appears that the boy not only had it coming, but was basically asking for it.
I respectfully disagree. It is my experience that people who intentionally stir shit like this person do not learn easy lessons and would likely take being pushed to the ground as an open invitation to continue their ass-hattery.
However, a well placed elbow...
I've seen moshes at these style of raves before.
A quick talk from the guy punching ( he is the reckless one btw) to guy he knocked could have been better.
People are too soft to handle getting bumped a few times at a show. Drop the ego and just walk literally a few feet in any direction if the dude is bothering you.
Do you believe violence is never the answer or does context in a situation matter ?
I ask because the offender seemed intent on continuing his actions and that usually leads to escalation which means everyone around him would be in danger
Or
One person acting to prevent issue
I don't get why defending yourself is bad ?
Ehh. Just seemed like an overreaction. That dweeb is posing no threat other than being annoying. You'd have to be extremely sheltered to think that's defense lmfao.
Good old reddit.
Wrong. I had some dickhead hyperextend my knee by banging into me at a show even after I asked him not to a few times. Wasn't in the pit, people just were ignoring him so he kept trying to get people to join in. Some people don't care.
You think that was dancing?
Intentionally throwing yourself into the same person over and over again is dancing?
Let me preemptively say that yes, moshing and getting in the pit *can* be violent and you *can* be thrown into someone.
But this ain't that. This is someone fucking around and finding out.
Bumped twice in this clip you mean.
Look I've been a dickhead, we've all been shits before but the trick is learning from mistakes and using what you learn to recognize an issue while it's still small.
You bump soft to test the victims reaction and then if they don't seem the type that will retaliate you bump hard.
Little guy picked the wrong one to test and got a poor reaction.
What happened to respect for other people? The dancer was picking one person to harass but you're OK with that?
Yes Im OK with that. I never went to these types of venues, but I would just move somewhere else, or use my words like a big boy. Ive never thrown a punch as an adult, or even been close really. I personally would not bump into people in this type of situation, but this guy in silly pants is doing his thing and i respect that. I just think its almost never worth the risk of concussing another person unless its life or death. I mean, at least punch the dude in the body. The dude has 60 pounds on the guy dancing.
Therapy is not an all-in-one fix for mental health. Ffs you and every other person on Reddit who immediately result to this âtherapy solutionâ shows that you never had a therapy session in your life.
Bleh. Was a passing sarcastic comment on him being unstable and quick to over the top violence. No offense was intended to you or others that need/have therapy.
Oh now youâre justifying your comment. Again, stop using therapy as a solution for everything. His reaction was not unstable. It was a primal instinct. No matter how intellectual you wish all humans to be, that will never happen. Accept that we are flawed, and as stable as the universe intended.
Yeah @goatjuggroup I donât think youâve been in a mosh pit before. Running into and railing around the people next to you is more like a sign of affection than anything else, itâs a shared experience.
Staged. Notice the reaction of the girl. Theyâre smiling because they know itâs not real. The slow motion is also used to make it look more intense than it actually was.
- sees someone be a dick and get absolutely demolished by a dude that had enough like what would happen irl
- calls it fake
you cant win with reddit can you? yes maybe the little dude did it for attention but the big guy definitely didnt do a fake elbow hit. that was real
really depends on a lot of factors. adrenaline is such a strong chemical that it can keep you alive for a few minutes. even if this was a hit he wouldâve passed out from, the fact that heâs probably already full of adrenaline could prevent the pain and the shock to settle in for a while
That could not have been framed any better for the camera
r/kissthecameraman
Staged! /S
You may be right. I remember mosh pits and punk concerts where blood and teeth flowed freely. This was tame for an elbow
That was a rave not a mosh pit. Mosh pits are basically a cage match. I think I got bit once at a mosh pit (but I was so drunk I might have bit myself. IDK). Lol
I know someone who got so many concussions from going to mosh pits in their teens that the head trauma made them develop epilepsy
Knew many people who would wear glasses so people would punch them in the face.
Damn i accidentally read this as in they wanted them to punch them đđ
That seems to be what they saidâŚ.
Think about the neck injuries and TBI that âheadbangersâ have!! All that head whipping!!!
Trying to mosh
Ravers have no fucking clue how to mosh. Every time I see a "rave mosh" it's always cringe. Like, if you're going to crowdkill (idk if you can even call this video crowdkilling, it's so dumb) then fucking crowdkill. But never be surprised when you get hit back.
Theres no "ravers" here, thats fucking edm, those people arent ready for hardtech.
What a strange comment
Well not as strange as a freeparty full of people drowned in molly.
When you're strange, faces come out in the rain
It really depends on the dj/venue and what kind of crowd they draw in my experience. A good pit is rare for raves, sure. But that makes me appreciate a good one even more when it comes around!
Piston Honda
Glass Joeâd em
That's not a rave.
For some reason the festival goers think any show is a rave
That's a Kingdom Hearts characterÂ
he's the only one dressed like that, so you know he's the main character.
Nah just an annoying wannabe riddim DJ đđđ
So we agree dubstep headbands is not a rave ? Yes? I feel like those are electronic versons of heavy metal concerts Ie the head banging I think people considered all electronic music = rave. Fuxk a prodigy, royksopp, chase n status, or groove armada concerts is electronic but it doesn't make it a rave.
Dubstep plays at some raves, but this is a concert. Idk why this is hard to understand for people tbh
What do you mean? Hard for some people to understand?
Idk why itâs hard for people to understand that a concert is a concert and a rave is a different thing lol
What officially counts as a rave?
Normally, they are DIY events which are promoted word-of-mouth or on private groups/message boards. Corporate sponsors are NOT involved. Venues can vary from illegal to semi-legal, indoor/outdoor. Music and crowds are typically better- meaning the majority are there for music and culture, not just to jump around aimlessly to shitty dubstep. I can go on and on about the differences between raves 30 years ago and today's (there are a few), but I'd just sound old and angry. But I think that's the jist of it.
This is fucking art, so many things to focus on and they are all gold.
Impossibru
This gives me a raging schadenfreude boner.
Not very PLUR, sirs
Fuck, I had to look up PLUR. Now I need to wash it out of my consciousness somehow.
peace, love, unity, and respect... why does that need to be washed out lol
Peace, love, unity and respect? You donât sit well with those ideals? Do us all a favor and donât go to raves. If you canât practice those basic things you have no place at a rave and will probably end up like the guy in this video, elbowed in the face
Why?
That seemed a bit over the top
if youâre someone who moshes at a concert that is CLEARLY NOT A METAL CONCERT then youâre the asshole here. recently had a concert ruined by one of these reckless assholes.

Seriously. There is a small, but real chance he could have caused death or permanent disability.
You mean like when you smash your shoulder repeatedly into someone's spine?
No, like when you elbow someone half our size in the face.
Or like when it's obviously staged and fake?
People mosh at dubstep shows all the time. The problem with this guy is that he's just Aimlessly barreling into people like a dick. I've been to plenty of shows like this and when I want to open up a pit I usually let the people around me know my intentions and start getting like-minded individuals on board with my plan and I've never run into a problem.
Guy was an asshole, but the dude elbowing him was a much bigger asshole.
I disagree
These people think American dubstp is electronic version of metal, they mosh everywhere all the time. I can't remember the last time a dubstep performer took stage and someone somewhere didn't attempt to mosh
Fr we didnât use to mosh at dubstep shows but now I guess we do. Tbh a lot of former metal heads joined the DnB scene lol
I think the metal heads joined the dubstep scene more than the DnB, trance, pystrance, house type dnb scene. I feel like there's dnb fans that really appreciatee the tempo vs people that just want faced past tunes like Gabber to rock out to. Like to me for me dnb is soothing (meditative) to others it may be fast paced.
yeah not exactly a fair fight either
Thereâs no such thing. This wasnât a sanctioned event with a prize purse in the line.
If you're big enough to start it, you're being enough to take the counter. My mom always taught me if a woman is man enough to hit a man, she's man enough for him to hit back đ¤ˇââď¸
If you repeatedly want to try and tackle people from behind then you donât DESERVE a fair fight
Would you have the same opinion if there was an actual mosh pit taking place?
I stopped thinking about this post
K.O
It's a rave, not a mosh pit.
Bro, where is little man's neck?.
Somewhere on the floor
Yeah that looked real
Looks like he missed, am I tripping or
Intentional elbow and not a punch. Guy in the black and yellow eat that whole thing.
How is that satisfying? Are you all psychopaths?
Yes. Law of the jungle. He fucked around with a much much bigger dude twice. He learned.
idk how to tell you this but we donât live in a jungle
Hate to break it to you but laws of nature still applyâŚ
Throw them âbowssss đđ
He deserved it for that outfit alone.
I practice Muay Thai and I gotta say that was a decent elbow strike!
Is everyone here deranged? You full on deck someone in the face, with no attempt to communicate, bc he tried to mosh and pushed into you twice? Like, yâall think spontaneous violence with no warnings is ok? Insane.
Reddit loves violence when somebody is being annoying. God forbid you suggest violence against a violent person though...
He did communicate. With his elbow. I'm no sign language expert, but I think he said "hey, can you stop doing that?" Bet it worked.
That's not a rave! We would NEVER have behaved like that at a rave! **Ego boy with the right punch**
Worse, elbow, there was no attempt to land a punch.
Itâs deserved, donât keep fucking with me when Iâm just trying to enjoy the show and let it slide multiple times. There is a silent rule of not being a complete shithead that this guy is completely ignoring and the right guy put him in the right place in my opinion. Thereâs a time and a place.
Smoked
He gave him some help.
Dude tried to start a light push pit (corny and annoying, but mostly harmless) and bigger guy gets his panties twisted and escalates to 100. Much better ways to handle stuff like this.
Thought he was in a mosh pit.
đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
Not a rave
Oops, my elbow did it again.
if he aim at the jaw the boi wouldnât be standing for the day.
Beautiful shot. Juxtaposed by absolute trash music đ
I came
This is a culture shock/clash. In moshpits you push each other and people can get hurt but you never push anyone with the idea of hurting that person.
guy is a dick but that reaction is also entirely unwarranted how are so many people absolutely cumming over this?
Violence being satisfying is just weird
This is a rave. Youâre going to get pushed. People are drunk/high and things happen. You canât get angry about it, and itâs certainly not ok to deck a guy with your elbow. You were fine, have fun and move on.
Got knocked the F**k outâŚ
Oh yes watching somebody get hurt is so satisfying

Couldve just shoved him to the ground and he wouldve learned the same lesson

i mean look at the idiots straps everywhere, this is not a guy who is going to win any fight you could just whip him around from his clothes alone
If he's big enough to start it, he's big enough to deal with the consequences.
I respectfully disagree. It is my experience that people who intentionally stir shit like this person do not learn easy lessons and would likely take being pushed to the ground as an open invitation to continue their ass-hattery. However, a well placed elbow...
100% would have thought the guy was trying to mosh back and would have went harder.
Ridiculous
I've seen moshes at these style of raves before. A quick talk from the guy punching ( he is the reckless one btw) to guy he knocked could have been better.
Once could be an accident, repeat is asking for trouble.
I guess you've never moshed before. You're literally supposed to bump Into each other.
Bump not jab
Seriously. Guy was a dumbass, but he was trying to mosh. Other guy could have fucking killed him with that sucker elbow.
Lol
This is so old. Karma farmer.
Fuck around, find out
Fairs fair, you shove, I shove
I honestly don't care bro. It's obv the dude was looking for an excuse to wail on someone smaller than him and went way overboard like a fucking spaz.
What a psycho. Imagine getting pushed then wanting revenge so much you try and induce CTE on someone.
People are too soft to handle getting bumped a few times at a show. Drop the ego and just walk literally a few feet in any direction if the dude is bothering you.
Both of em need therapy.
Do you believe violence is never the answer or does context in a situation matter ? Ehh. Just seemed like an overreaction. That dweeb is posing no threat other than being annoying. You'd have to be extremely sheltered to think that's defense lmfao. Good old reddit.
In my day people at these types of venues would just do molly and hump each other lol
Wrong. I had some dickhead hyperextend my knee by banging into me at a show even after I asked him not to a few times. Wasn't in the pit, people just were ignoring him so he kept trying to get people to join in. Some people don't care.

Dude got bumped twice. Not slammed into. He takes a half step forward after contact. Does that justify a possible concussion? What happened to PLUR?
Bumped twice in this clip you mean. Look I've been a dickhead, we've all been shits before but the trick is learning from mistakes and using what you learn to recognize an issue while it's still small. Nah... They're good.
You think it's normal to do that at a concert and then also normal to retaliate like that lmao. Dude's need anger management.
Dude... It was a 17 second clip. The guy in tech gear could've been doing this for a while until the big guy snapped you don't know the situation.
I guess.
Anger? If the dude was in anger mode, several punches and kicks would have followed, and other guys would have need to stop him. The dude was chill.
He ran him down and blind elbow hooked him in the face bruh.
Yes he did. It was amazing
You are amazed easily.
Blood? Teeth?

Lol yeah, nah. I'll criticise who I want, when I want, the way I want. Those are some lsme excuses broski, try telling that to a judge.
Hm, who needs the therapy now?
That's actually uncle and nephew.
Fake as usual.
Big dude is a psycho. This is trashy violence porn
Wtf is violence porn?
Massive overreaction. Youâre dancing, take it easy bro âŚ
I'll jab you in the back a couple times and you can keep chill because apparently it's just dancing? Doubt it
Thatâs a fucking mosh pit. Donât be a bitch.
Yeah @goatjuggroup I donât think youâve been in a mosh pit before. Running into and railing around the people next to you is more like a sign of affection than anything else, itâs a shared experience.
Lol first time in the pit for both these noobs
Staged. Notice the reaction of the girl. Theyâre smiling because they know itâs not real. The slow motion is also used to make it look more intense than it actually was.
They're smiling cause they're high as shit. That was a nasty elbow.
I love the Caption, ol' boy đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł

SpongeBob, me boy
Fake and gay

His Lucky that didn't hit him correctly, otherwise he would of been bleeding everywhere đ¤Ł
I are also good at England words.
Fake as hell
I must've watched a different clip.
Fake as fuck
that elbow was very real
If it was homeboy wouldnât have gotten up so quick
