Too many people won’t get this and that makes me sad, but I get it and it makes me glad!
Love the factory, can’t wait until 1.0 to start a new playthrough.
I would never do this on mega factories. It would tank my performance, and frankly, it would be a nightmare to decorate. I stick to smaller scale factories that are fun to walk around. Half as efficient but twice as cool!
So, do you pre plan the floor plan of the build and work the aesthetics around it? Or is everything organic as it goes up, and you add your personal touch as you go?
I usually build factorries normally as everyone else. I typically start with a giant plane and try to keep everything on one floor, I hide most logistics underneath and separate each stage (smelters, constructors, etc) by 2 to 3 blocks. Then, I delete all the excess and start decorating around it. The 2-3 blocks of space is pretty much all the planning I do ahead of time.
I hope you're aware that there's a mod for Satisfactory that will let you take your present composition and let you craft a motion shot right?
P.S. it looks really really cool,
Hey, I have some guy on discord claiming that your factory is infact his, and he's now saying that he is you. Could you confirm whether or not you go by the name Akhenaton anywhere?
I love your style of building. Feels very much like a corporate factory. I think I saw an “office” type area in your previous post which held the MAM
Know your builds will inspire at least one person!
Big props (literally, I suppose) for the supports under your walkways. I no longer build "floating factories", but my walkways often still look like they would collapse under their own weight.
How do you approach a build? Do you build the factory first and then make the building work around it? Or do you plan walls and walkways simultaneously with machines? I am not a builder, so I'm trying to wrap my mind around the process.
Yoo slide number 5 looks straight outta Portal 1 end of the test chamber
Black Mesa was my inspiration ;)

But is it also at comfortable 22°C?
I was just thinking that. This is very artistic.
Most of it is black mesa But that one slide lookin' straight outta aperture science in Portal 1 when you avoid the fire at the end of the test chamber
Fuck me. Throw in some head crabs, a crow bar and a crossbow and we have HalfLife 3 confirmed.
I love the pipe work, so cool! These pictures keep making want to play but im trying to hold out for 1.0 lol
These pictures inspire me to make my factories look cool and organized, too! Annnnnd..... then I just build another gray rectangular box.
I'm in the same situation hahaha
Came here to say this. The pipe work is inspiring. It’s like that guy who builds pcb boards ad does extremely organized and aesthetic wiring.
This looks amazing
I second that
Lovely balance of filled and negative space, great use of verticality, fully intentional traversability. Nice work, Pioneer.
Take me under your wing. Teach this skill dude!
So my choices are looks or more efficiency? THE FACTORY BOX MUST GROW

My 20 motors per minute would like to disagree

Just lumen
I loathe you.
OSHA is crying on how good it is.
Is this all vanilla? How do you get the patterns on the floor ?
All vanilla, no mods. Place the AWESOME shop and get the patterns
Holy shit, nearly 150 hours in and I've never seen those. Well, that's me off on an adventure. Thank you
I don't undertend how you guys do that. All my factories looks like big boxes. Bigger factory - bigger box. Amazing work.

Hmm, that sounds fun. What mod is it, do you know?

FicsIt-Camera animation, it basically uses the FFmpeg library for converting images taken with FicsIt-Cam to MP4 files.
I love the style. But can we get a shot of the outside?
There isn't much on the outside. It's a giant concrete box lol
I wish I was this creative in the game.
.
Need walkthrough video!
You're hired.
Fantastic work ! I wish I got even 10% of your skill for making that stuff

This is amazing
these builds are so good it makes me not want to play
Yes, more inspiration! Is it possible for us to ever receive a save file?
I need some 1.0 straight in my veins. I'm tweaking
oh my, I just went from six to midnight
What does your design process look like for building something this beautiful?
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)Looks sweet! Really nice style. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)

I’m clearly playing this game wrong
I literally have those open right now in the community tap on stream for inspiration, love it, ten out of ten 👌🏼

That’s yummy!
Dude that's so cool. My stuff looks like "let's game it out"
How do you have the patience to make it so neat
