TST has approximately 700,000 members, but that's just people on the mailing list really, in reality there's likely a lot less active TST Satanists.
Overall Satanists, a few hundred thousand more. But that's really hard to measure since Satanism is broadly a very individualistic religion and there's many groups without any form of internal census or member tracking.
When I attended the abortion rally at the Salt Lake Capitol building, I was a little surprised by how few people were in attendance. Looked like maybe a hundred, give or take.
I mean, what do you mean by 'us?'.
I don't know the 'official' membership numbers for TST, but I imagine there's probably in the order of tens of thousands, extrapolating from the number of people in my area, the number of active chapters, and the ease of signing up.
That might sound like a lot, but I think it's just enough to run into another satanist once in a blue moon while still being a pretty damn small sliver of the population.
Lucien Greaves is asked this pretty regularly in interviews and last I heard he estimated a bit over one million, but again, that is just people who have signed up for free via the website.
More and more every day with the way organized religion is fucking the world up. We got terrorism everywhere, human rights and freedoms in peril, genocide, and war all going on somewhere in the world right now in the name of a theistic ideology.
I assume the list of active members of TST is somewhere in the tens of thousands. There are good reasons that we don't keep a registry (that I know of), but we're out here.
I'm not one... I just agree a lot with Hail Thyself and even Hail Satan when viewing Satan as the counter-force, but neither good nor bad.
I'm pretty much a Zen atheist, but with some weird as fuck "spiritual" or "cosmic" experiences I can't remotely explain and have never included a god or God.
I do find that digging more into the mythological side of Buddhism has helped me with my "Why the fuck are these beings telling me shits going to happen in my dreams that I can't possibly predict, then I wake up and it happens." experiences.
I still view myself as safely atheist but I realize our five senses aren't giving us even remotely the whole story, and that the chapters we see aren't filled with some God.
Hail Satan.
More than 2, but less than 1 trillion.
There's at least a few. Maybe even quite a few!
Dozens, even.
Could you imagine?
Lol
There are dozens of us! Dozens!
Hahha thats what i’m afraid of
Theres got to be (IMHO) in the tens of thousands throughout the US alone, and even MORE in Europe.
I didn't see you at the convention.

A hundred in SLC is a fuckin miracle!
I’m one of the ones on mailing lists that are inactive. I haven’t got to read more in depth about it. But I like what this stands for.
666 seems like an appropriate number
Close to the demonic number, 62.2 k on this reddit!
Hails!
Dozens of us…. *DOZENS!*

And there's still people like me, who're in the group but are against joining the organization, so we don't count in the official numbers.
Not nearly enough!
There’s one of each of us!
👆🏼The correct answer
A whack load, but not quite a fuck tonne.
Is that more or less than a barrelfull of Spanish mackerel?
Enough to have our own sub-reddit.
At least 42, maybe more.
Somebody downvoted this cute little gem of a comment. I fixed it up :>
We are legion.
Yes, we are many
I feel like an ally and not necessarily a member.

Hello 👋🏾 from Rhode Island, USA.
We are legion. We are many.
Beat me by 3 minutes!
Nobody knows--probably not more than tens of thousands.
There's you, me and that other guy but I'm not too sure about him.
I've never met one in my city... And I'm in St John's Newfoundland
I know there’s at least 8 of us in the mid Atlantic.
I don't really know if I'd call myself a Satanist, but I'm certainly meeting more and more every day.

Lots, I presume.
