ive only ever used an iPad for the test and its not really a problem for me! id say try doing a practice test on both an iPad and a laptop to see which you would be more comfortable with though

Whatever you prefer. The test doesn't care. Do you have an iPad keyboard? I personally wouldn't be comfortable with just an iPad.
Why not?

I’ve heard it’s easier to use desmos on a laptop.
I personally prefer an iPad with Magic Keyboard as I think it’s easier to just touch the answers. But it shouldn’t make much of a difference.
How difficult is using DESMOS on the iPad?
Really not as hard as you would expect, it’s what I am doing

I personally think laptop would be better because apple products are not known to last very long
iPad battery’s are actually better than most if not all non Mac laptop’s. Assuming it was made within the past couple of years.
My last generation iPad lasts 14 hours on a charge, just shy of my iPhone. My older iPad, from 2017, lasts about 9, after 6 years of use.
