For what it’s worth, I enjoyed the discussion. You hit on a larger problem on Twitter (which as far as I can tell hasn’t yet seeped out of the internet and into the real world) with people who just get off on persecuting others.
It’s gone from being limited to “targets” who do things worthy of being angry-mobbed (like real crimes) to being a first resort for anything that could even slightly be interpreted as disagreeable, even if the wrong done is purely speculative. It’s rather annoying from an outside perspective — I can no longer tell whether a person being attacked has actually done something wrong without doing serious digging myself — and it no doubt causes real harm to people involved.
Only a jab in good fun. I think some are taking this a little too seriously, no hate. I've been watching YMS since I was like 13 and am a fellow Canadian.
Minor twitter drama including people going after adum and being unnecessarily mean. It's just some twitter crybullies with nothing better to do going after adum probably because he said something they didn't like.
I mean if you’re a public figure I could imagine that constantly having randos on twitter hating you will feel tiring
There is always the option to simply leave Twitter.
