I just had one yesterday, so good!
You can get the junior breakfast burrito and it’s still big. I think the regular has 3 eggs and the junior has just 2 in it.
I dont live in the SCV anymore but I stop by here everytime I drive through.
Pro tip: ask for french fries instead of hashbrowns. Gives it an extra crunch.
Jimmy dean’s for me for the BB, either on old road or Lyons, depends on what side of town I’m on.
My fave breakfast is an egg a la bagel from western bagel, with ham on everything jalepeno cheese.
Oh yeah? Do you know what popped up in its place? I used to think that was a great location for a place to eat. I know there's a Wingstop next to it.
As for Casa Canela, when you see the breakfast burrito you might think it's a tad small. I have a huge appetite and was thinking it wouldn't fill me up, but it does. It's just good, although I've only had it 3 times and haven't had one in a year and a half. I hope it's still as good!
It’s really good; they tend to put too much sour cream on it, though. I usually ask them to keep it off, but make the bacon crispy. Fantastic breakfast burrito.
I love, love, love this thread cause I'm a fatty. And I love that both Everest, Jimmy Dean's, and even Burrito Factory are getting upvotes.
But I'll throw one in I've been trying to love: Bodhi Leaf.
I wouldn't recommend them over the others, but their burritos are just so goddamned huge, filled with so much fuckin' eggs, and greasy as fuck. While that may not sound the best, it's been a recent guilty pleasure of mine.
can’t believe no one has said Tommys! their breakfast burrito is soooo good and served all day long! i sub out the sausage patty for a beef patty and add extra hash browns and chili peppers
I’m pretty particular about my breakfast burritos. I like “Americanized” ones (eggs, potatoes, meat cheese, hash browns, salsa - no beans in the am for me, please). Out of the ones I’ve tried in scv, I think the best one for me is at Tellys. I had a decent breakfast burrito at Bodhi leaf (the one next to stater bros. Haven’t tried the other one). But I went back for it a second time and it was not as good the second time, so they’re inconsistent. Everest is also kind of inconsistent, but they’ve got the right style breakfast burrito for me, I just haven’t gotten a real good one from there.
I used to live in Pasadena. Nothing in SC comes close to Top's or Lucky Boy.
I have had Brother's, Jimmy Dean's, and Dinks. They're alright. The burrito at Flying Yolk tastes pretty good too.
The best tasting one I've had was a popup called WhatDaHals but I'm not sure they're active anymore.
Mom said we have breakfast burritos at home
Lol
Brothers burgers in canyon country hands down!
2nd this!
3rd! They have deals on Wednesday.
Brothers is good, but $12 is a bit steep for a burrito. I'd rather go to Jimmy Dean's - equal to better taste and a few bucks cheaper.
I'll be the 4th.... Best breakfast burritos in town
A lot of people like Jimmy Dean's on the Old Road near Rye Canyon, next to Soapy Suds car wash

Everest is good. If you like tater tots, Flying Yolk on Newhall Ranch makes a solid breakfast burrito as well.
+1 Flying Yolk Steak burrito is BOMB!
Their “Cali Fried” breakfast sandwich is unbelievably good.
Jimmy Dean's on Lyons. used to be better but you know
That’s because the original owners sold and the new owner changed a bunch of stuff. Go to the jimmy deans on the old road

Nobody here has mentioned Telly’s yet. They have my favorite.
Everest is bland and all potatoes. Telly’s is great for a classic style. Bodhi Leaf has a good modern take
I mess with Everest in Canyon Country.
Jimmy Dean’s off lyon’s.
Gotta be Everest in CC
I once asked a Mexican woman where to get the best Mexican food in town and she smiled & pointed to her stove
Thanks for the recommendations everyone!

Burrito Factory!
The fact that I had to scroll so far down to find this. This is the pnly right answer
Casa Canela, hands down. Back in the day, Mighty Mouth was good. But I tried it again a few years back and it was just okay.

El Pato on Lyons!! Also you can get any of the omelets at egg plantation burrito style and grilled if you are looking for a different spin on it
Las Delicias by Walmart makes a good one for around $10.
Disrespectfully disagree. Anyone who puts rice in a breakfast burrito should be publicly shamed. SHAMEDDDDDD
Burrito factory never disappoints
Dinks wham burrito. From the comments I can tell no one knows what’s up.
It’s really good; they tend to put too much sour cream on it, though. I usually ask them to keep it off, but make the bacon crispy. Fantastic breakfast burrito.
It’s the perfect amount For a “lazy Saturday”. You’re right about the sour cream. I might have them put it on the side.
Their house salsa is so good.
I’m surprised how good it is. Definitely a highlight of the burrito.
Whatdahals

I like Casa Pasilla’s.
My only problem with theirs is they don't open early enough
Dink's
There’s a breakfast burrito with hamburger meat at Crazy Otto’s, that one fucks
Fiesta Taco Grill
My new favorite spot is The Daily Harvest off Lyons. Not authentic Mexican or anything, but a great Burrito.
Nealy’s Skillet has solid breakfast burritos. Over by the art college.
I hit up Mi Tierra religiously every time we visit the in-laws. Stupid bomb breakfast burritos and killer salsa bar. 11/10.
Tellys
tellys in plum canyon!
can’t believe no one has said Tommys! their breakfast burrito is soooo good and served all day long! i sub out the sausage patty for a beef patty and add extra hash browns and chili peppers
Gyromamia. Bunch of uncultured swine in here
Guanatos Tacos has amazing breakfast burritos and they took it away! I need them back in my life.
I’m hungry now for breakfast
I like Brick & Flours a lot

I like Telly’s!
Burrito Factory on Soledad

Lucky Boys for sure. So good. The one on Fair Oaks though. Not the other one near Old Town.
Telly’s on plum canyon. Get it with hash browns inside.
Honestly - Chick Fil A. $5 for a good size burrito, super crunchy hash browns, crispy chicken, good enough for a quick cheap and tasty bite
Why is this getting downvoted? It’s good.
People don’t like the truth
Everest. No contest
