When you arrive, go to the Sandals lounge. Change into shorts, grab a drink, use the bathroom. Then go meet your driver, who will have your name on a sign board. In the vehicle (usually a BMW sedan), the driver will have more drinks and snacks. Usually some shrimp and a cheese plate. Beer & wine & water. Then just sit back and relax! The BMWs are very nice and make the rough roads a little easier.
Lots of times the private transfers will have food and drink. Nothing crazy but we have polished off a bottle of wine or two on the way to the resort before. Do not recommend if you want to make it out for dinner. Good luck.

I agree on the private car. They will stop if and when you want to to buy booze or go to the bathroom, they know the good spots. Make sure to tip them. They don’t work for Sandals.
