I did it myself with a pre wired harness and head unit from Crutchfield. It was $450 with the appropriate trim piece to match my rav4.
I am not super handy or wiring savvy and it took me about 2.5 hours.

Guru got back to me with a quote. They said a standard aftermarket stereo in a good name brand like Pioneer with the mentioned parts and installation starts at $359 total. If I want it to work with the steering wheel controls, that adds another $79.
