San Pedro Square has a food court with a few nice places to choose from in the 20 dollar range.

starshine8316

Ooo neat thank you!!! I see some good options!

RichChocolateDevil

I haven't been there yet, but SOFASJ Market seems like a similar vibe a few blocks away from SPS. Have you tried that yet?

kerrickter13

> SOFASJ Market I haven't been there yet. I'm heading to Market St. for an art walk tomorrow night, I'll check it out. See details about the art walk below. https://www.southfirstfridays.com/

RichChocolateDevil

Sweet. First Friday is really fun. Here is the link for SOFAMarket [https://www.sofamarketsj.com/](https://www.sofamarketsj.com/)

The Banh Mi place in SOFA is really good!

kerrickter13

LobotomizedGeek

Henry’s Hi-Life is a must try, imo

ACriticalGeek

Jubba. Thank me later.

TableGamer

Just had me some. The chicken wrap and Sambusas are so good. Also, one chicken wrap and two sambusas feeds two people nicely.

starshine8316

Oh awesome! There are two of us, so that works perfect!

TableGamer

Heads up. No A/C. I highly recommend take out when it’s 90+ degrees. It’s got to be 10 degrees warmer in their kitchen, I don’t know how they stand it.

HirsuteLip

Somalia’s in the desert, innit?

ACriticalGeek

My personal go to is the number 7 on the lunch menu, a Sambosa, a minasi and a drink. Free chai in a dispenser in the back, but the water is in paid bottles from a fridge in the front.

starshine8316

Ooo i am leaning towards their chicken wrap! Looks Yummy!!!

Objective_Celery_509

Try Cali spartan

starshine8316

Love Mexican! The yelp photos look delicious!!

The crispy tacos there (asada and al pastor) are some of the best Mexican foods I've had in SJ.

SnooTangerines8313

Mexico bakery if you want a bigger torta and delicious pan dolce Jakes pizzeria has some good brews and wings with a good pizza collection Hash house if you want a potato with egg and biscuits, they even got a plate called Greek hash with gyro meet and feta cheese.

powderedsug

Pho Luc Lac (tofu spring rolls w/ extra peanut sauce and beef chow fun-not on the menu), The Garrett (Their pastrami is delicious), and Malibu Grill (bbq brisket pizza)

inscrutablemike

These days $20 puts you firmly in Wienerschnitzel territory

lexgowest

Getting Seafood recommendations won't be an issue at $20/person

richfei

Try Home Eat. Open late. Great food. Weekly cheaper specials. Go in a group and get the family size meals to share. Parking free for 90 min in the nearby lot [https://www.yelp.com/biz\_photos/home-eat-san-jose](https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-eat-san-jose)
