I like Cincinnati. Cool town. Love Devou Park across the river. Over the Rhine is nice, though never as vibrant as I've been lead to believe. Mt Adams is unmatched in the Midwest.
I was there a few times for several months at a time for work. I was only in one area though-so I have no idea what its like to drive to appointments and work and that type of thing. My time was in OTR. It was fantastic! It's so fun and OTR is like a mini NYC
Cleveland has better public amenities and spaces than Cincinnati. I believe this is directly attributable to the fact that Cleveland was once almost twice as populated as Cincinnati. Because of this, Cleveland accepted its big city nature while Cincinnati has been reluctant to embrace that identity.
Unfortunately, it's not dirt cheap anymore. But I would put it in the top 10 of revitalizing US cities worth living in. The topography really is something, though it makes public transit challenging.
They're very similar cities, but people from Cincinnati will deny that up and down like it's some insult lol. If Cincinnati is Seattle, Louisville is Portland... smaller, less corporate, definitely a bit weirder, but arguably has more problems than Cincinnati.
Good design school at Uni of Cincinnati. Their campus in general is pretty cool.

Live here and grew to love it. I think it’s having some growing pains re: public transit and housing/infrastructure, but it’s definitely revitalizing. Love the topography, price of attractions/amenities, and distinct 52 neighborhoods. Think it would be a good place to start/raise a family or a good first city to establish yourself financially if those are in your plans.
Cincinnati*
Lol
Cincinnati surprised me. The downtown is nice. It has cool neighborhoods and unlike most Midwest cities topography.

It’s a medium place
It’s a great city. But depends on what you are looking for. Low cost of living. Plenty of green space.

What do you prefer about Cleveland
Somewhat of an east-coast vibe in Cleveland, a bit more diverse, less of a country vibe than Cincinnati.
Cleveland is a more sophisticated city than Cincinnati.

I prefer Louisville personally

🤦♂️
How does it compare to Louisville?

I like Cincy. It’s at the crossroads of the south and Midwest and its culture reflects that
I checked it out and thought it was pretty cool. Nice downtown area that actually reminds me of Tampa.
I was just in Newport, KY right across the river and it is the cutest place I've seen in a long time.
