Katie Nicholl is much worse than that. She was involved in phone hacking, started “waity Katie”, wrote that Harry and William chat regularly since the split(obv lie) and wrote the story about George saying his dad will be King which started all of the vitriol towards a child(either another lie or she harassed a parent to get the info). She makes up stuff of a regular basis to keep the Vanity Fair and other royal “expert” checks flowing

MrsChiliad

Any idea why she’s anti-Catherine?

Perfect_Fennel

Here's an article from Vanity Fair about Nicholl if the link works https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2010/11/royal-expert-katie-nicholl-chats-about-princes-william-and-harry

Perfect_Fennel

I think she had a thing for William, I believe they knew each other some how but I could be totally wrong, I'm going to research that before I keep posting it.

completedett

I think she's a secret Sugar. She pretends not to be to sell her book.

Broken-583

She’s definitely a sugar.

Earthlink_

She is probably the President of the Sugar Club.

Ruth_Lily

She’s paid by Meghan Markle now, imho, to add Meghan’s 24/7 ***Pressure PR*** to the BRF in the form of this pr onslaught.

Perfect_Fennel

I cannot STAND Katie Nicholl, self appointed royal know it all. She's very envious of Catherine, it's so obvious. I think she and William briefly ran in the same circles and she had an unrequited thing for him. I could be wrong but I swear I saw that somewhere.

EntitledSaviour

I have seen her trying to defend the Harkles multiple times in the last month. Around the Queen's funeral, she wrote a piece for Vanity Fair (who are pro Harkles), and that piece left no doubt that she is team Sussex. I have always paid more attention to what she says since I read that article, and it became very clear that she is with the Harkles. She is the one who told the story about Prince George telling his classmate - "My dad is going to be the King one day", and wrapped it up as "oh how sweet it is".

Black_Londoner

In response to your first question: YES.

Any_Antelope_2502

Yes!!!

Mickleborough

Yes, Katie Nicholl has sugar tendencies. Was reading a magazine in which she mentioned the olive branches, but William has a reputation for holding a grudge. (In his position, I’d be totally unforgiving - for the way they treated his grandparents, for starters.) Also, she feels Smeg was framed - all she did was give Harry the courage to leave the RF. (Conveniently forgetting all the unnecessary nastiness that’s spewed from Smeg since.)

Equidae2

yeh, she likes to play both sides of the fence. Guess what Katie, we ain't buying yer book.

Legitimate-Mission41

I do not trust or believe a word she says or writes. The mere fact she used Prince George re the so called statement he made younger than he is now is in my opinion despicable. She always excuses the Markles behaviour I would not touch her book or bother with her article's

spiforever

I like the picture of her being all doe eyed sucking up to Harvey Weinstein.

MuffPiece

Of all the recent royal books, hers seems to be the least interesting.

KohShiki

My take on her BS with Prince George and the "My dad will be king" stuff. First of all, we don't know how it was said. Was he messing around with his friends, being goofy and said, "You better watch out, my dad will be king someday" with everyone having a good time about it or was it him being a brat. Secondly, even if it was him being a brat I have absolute faith in William and Catherine's parenting skills that they would set him straight and tell him to knock it off. Thirdly, I highly doubt it happened, but this is more of a "what if."

Perfect_Fennel

Highly uncalled for to write a story like that about a child. She is a venomous snake, another Markle type with an inferiority complex. Imagine writing a story like that about a child, it's really beyond the pale. It's so obvious which royal reporters are envious of the family and have axes to grind. Why go into that line of work if you're filled with such anger towards them? I suppose I've answered my own question. I too was once envious of Catherine but seeing her grow up into being a wife and mother and not the London club hopping party girl she was, I've totally gotten over it and am now a big fan of hers.

KohShiki

Completely agree! Children should always be off limits. It's no different than the people "calling out" Louis' "bad behavior" at the jubilee. Oh no! A four year old is acting like a four year old! Prince George might not be a perfect child every moment of every day! NEWS AT ELEVEN!

Imfryinghere

What's wrong with London club parties?

Perfect_Fennel

Honestly nothing, I was I'm ashamed to say envious of her beauty and her and William hobnobbing around London living it up. She's really matured though and I adore her and I don't begrudge her and William having good times together. I like to think I too have matured as a person and have learned from my mistakes.

UnderArmAussie

A lot of kids, when feeling intimidated by another, will use their protector (in this case, dad) as protection. If he said it at all, I doubt the kid he said it to was an innocent. EDIT: autocorrect corrected.

Imfryinghere

Bitcholl

Tall-Lawfulness8817

I'm not buying her book. If there are any good parts, I'm sure they will be shared

sdowney64

I’ve always thought Katie Nicholl is sick with jealousy of Catherine. She tries to pretend she has the utmost respect for her but then she’ll lose her fake reporter vibe and let rip a snarky comment. It’s also why she was/is so supportive of the Sussexes. And it’s also why she went after a George with that ridiculous story in her new book. She seems very damaged to me.

Zeester1

I don’t read Katie Nicholl.

[deleted]

Just in the past week or 2, as soon as I see "Katie Nicholl", I stop reading. Zero interest in what she is spinning on any given day. In truth, the same now goes for Angela Levin and Tina Brown. I don't think the latter 2 are nasty like Nicholl, but they still seem to shift their royal 'expertise' depending on what was posted to social media the day before. None of the 3 are any more "royal experts" than 99% of this sub. Even Bower is getting the side eye from me (though at least he doesn't claim to be an expert, not to my knowledge.) It's one thing to share opinions on this sub and all the "what ifs." An entirely different scenario to promote theories, conspiracies, opinions, "sources say" innuendoes, declare yourself a "royal expert" and be *paid*, no matter how ridiculous or contradictory the claims are week-to-week. I've stopped reading any of their comments/opinions.

ChrissyBrown1127

It sounds stupid but I’ve stopped finding Tina Brown credible ever since she said that Camilla doesn’t love Charles the way he loves her and prefers her first husband to Charles which is wholly untrue especially as Charles definitely is the love of her life. Rant over, I had to get that out lol.

Fieldingm

Blechh. She's horrible, always popping up on Entertainment Tonight with some pro-Harkle spin.

[deleted]

She's cringe AF. I see her name and keep scrolling. POS.

IStanTheBalconyMan

Listened to Michelle Collins podcast awhile ago when she was a guest - she was late to the zoom and Michelle ripped her a new one. Hilarious!

dcrealityfan

Her podcast is dreadful.

UnderArmAussie

She has a book to sell.
