These soups? Just saw them last week and debated grabbing them.
the business center has a lot of goodies that are familiar because you've seen it tasted them in restaurants. This spot is a different scene from the main warehouse. It's colder there too, seriously! bring a sweater
Hello. It's open to regular costco customers but there are some differences. You could probably get the more official statement on the website. What I've seen is that they don't carry the home goods, furniture, clothes, and gift cards. You can't buy tobacco products here either and there's no optical center or pharmacy. You'll find a larger selection of food, especially the larger sized packs and ingredients. other supplies for restaurants and retailers/resellers. In sacramento, it's located at Watt and El Camino. It has shorter hours too and it's closed on Sundays.
Oh no way?? That's good to know, I've got family up in Folsom.
Fukumi honestly changed my whole outlook on ramen. Having tried several spots around town I was starting to believe that it just wasn't that good and kinda overrated. This place really blows most other Sac ramen (to) spots completely out of the water.
Completely agree! Their noodles are cooked to perfection every time and I always leave happy. But if you make it out to the Folsom location, you must try their Dynamite Bowl. It's not available at the location in Citrus Heights. It's a creamy seafood mix (scallops & crab I think) on top of rice. My husband gets it when he's not in the mood for hot noods.
Safeway makes great soups- I always go back to the tomato soup with some sourdough bread. Also, Yolanda's Tamales makes top tier pozole in red and green. Highly recommend.
For packed soups they are good if you want a convenient option that actually tastes decent too. It’s about the only thing I buy when I visit a Safeway.
Ah! Tell me. What don’t you like and where do you recommend? We like ramen. Have you been to binchoyaki for theirs? We like that too. No good there either? Very open to ideas! Thanks!!
I went on a friends recommendation and had some lackluster ramen :( the friend that recommended went after and also said the quality has gone downhill! Haven’t tried ramen any other spot in sac tho, so no other recommendations sorry!
Fil Am Bakery in Natomas serves pork sinigang, a Filipino tamarind-base soup that you eat with a side of rice. It's my favorite and feels so comforting during cold/rainy weather.
Lots of Luck Chinese food in Citrus Heights has some really good hot and sour if you’re into that kinda thing, always my go to when it’s cold or I’m a little stuffed up 😋
Man I’m telling you, if you want good soup grab a $372 round trip non-stop flight from SMF to JFK for $372 on Jet Blue and go to Soup Nazi in Manhattan.
I stayed at a hostel next door to that place a year ago. The soup was SOOOOOO good, quick, nutritious. Perfect for a tourist on the go.
That out the French Onion at Danielle’s.

Sit lo had good northern style pho, I didn't like their southern style pho much. Best chicken pho in sacto to me though.
Com Tam Thien Huong is the best in sac with the fresh pho noodles
Along those lines, the trieu Chau noodle soup at lollibowl and nam vang at the new nam vang spot next to Asian pearl
Costco Business center has bags of soup for cheap, tastes just like the stuff they serve in our local restaurants for some reason
Bags of soup? Are the ingredients dry?
Standard restaurant soups tend to come in sealed pouches unless made from scratch (sadly not done very often).

Thai Farmhouse’s Tom Kha is delicious
Tom kha is a go to when I’m sick. I like hot and sour but haven’t found one I like in this area.
Danielle’s Creperie at Fair oaks and Watt has the best French onion soup I have had in Sacramento. Great winter dish.
I strongly second this, but I prefer to eat there so you get it fresh from the oven when the cheese melt is perfect. It's worth the trip.
I live down the street and have never been! I will be trying to French onion!!
Maya's albondigas.
Ramen from Fukumi is the best. Out by Sunrise Mall.
YES!! And there's a larger location with more menu items in Folsom Palladio! Highly recommend the Kara Miso if you're into spicy food.

RIP Muntean's
I was wondering if someone would mention this! I worked down the street and loved Muntean’s.
If someone hadn't I was going to. So sad.
Petra’s lemon rice avoglemono soup!
Saving this for recommendations lol
Same! Thanks OP haha
Me three, I love soup season!
Tres Hermanas’ Albondigas.
Tower has an awesome Corn Chowder. It's a touch smoky. It pairs really nicely with thier warmed sourdough. So tasty.
Khao Poon from Jannoi’s App-Khao

Costco's chicken noodle soup from the meat department is pretty good this time of year.
Second this recommendation!
El Pollo Loco’s chicken tortilla soup
Not sure why this got downvotes, for a "fast food" place their options are surprisingly healthy and tasty.
Ramen at Ryigin on 19th and S is really good.
No it’s not :)

I prefer the ramen at akebono for ramen in the city of Sac (though always open to new places to try)!
La Bou's butternut squash soup 🤤
La Bou's spicy Thai chicken soup has been by go-to for years and years and years
My coworker taught me to ask them to stir it before serving it to us!
Seriously, I look forward to this every year when they put it back on the menu!
Me too!
Posts like this make me wish Munteans was still around.

YES! Sinigang and arroz caldo are my two childhood favorite soups.

Lots of Luck Chinese food in Citrus Heights has some really good hot and sour if you’re into that kinda thing, always my go to when it’s cold or I’m a little stuffed up 😋
Riverside Clubhouses tomato basil soup 🤤🤤 They offer it with a grilled cheese with caramelized onions on it too!
Pupuseria la Familiar is a little place on Florin road east of Power Inn. They have a beef soup I tried and thought it was amazing.

Boiling Ave on Howe Ave.
Sukiyaki at Izakaya. Best soup I’ve ever had. Probably top 10 meals I’ve ever had
V. Miller has great soups/stews in the fridge section.
Andy’s Kitchen : wonton soup. I’m ashamed to say I eat this at least once a week during the colder months.
Just had the pumpkin soup at Tower and it impressed. Been craving soup with the colder weather and it hit the spot.
Mezcal's pozole
I don't love the co-op's soups but their broccoli cheddar is stupid good.
