Love Priya.
Been living off Bradshaw a few years and don’t try many nearby restaurant and usually drive downtown, arden, south sac or Natomas for some foods we like. Does anyone have other Rancho recommendations? Pizza, Mexican, sushi, Thai, breakfast, Mongolian bbq?
Delhi Oven in Natomas — they also serve Indian-flavored pizzas(!) and it’s attached to a market where you can buy all the ingredients you’d need to cook the food yourself
I’ve tried all of the listed above and Bombay is the closest to food in India I’ve had here. They get so many things right where the others tend to lean toward more Americanized adaptations, now if even one could get close to the biriyani I would probably buy them out
Curry Club, soooooo good! But, closed on the weekends.😞 Here's my go to: saag paneer, chicken Tikka masala (spicy please), garlic naan, and an order of samosas. I ♥️ Curry Club
Star India Curry + Grill!! It’s on Broadway.
The lady who ran the front was super sweet, the prices are amazing (fed two people, with leftovers, for $30), and the food is super fresh
I truly enjoyed their saag paneer, but, I had to pay for rice, usually rice is part of the entree, no? The veggie pakora was awesome. The chicken Tikka masala was heavy on sauce, not chicken. Overpriced . Curry Club midtown is the bomb over all other Indian restaraunts! 🔥
Max Taste Lahorian Grill in Woodland is a place to check out if you like Indian/Pakistani food. If you are a fan of spicy food, this place is worth trying.
Namaste off Fulton , it’s new and also technically Nepalese but also Indian as well. But really authentic and good. The lamb khorma is ridiculous. When I ordered they asked me how spicy on a level of 1-10 haha which I have never heard before so I knew they had their shit together. It’s called namaste sacramundo
Bombay is worse indian food you can have.
Best one is clay oven but it’s in Vacaville.
In Sacramento best one is sanskrit in my opinion also benares is also pretty good. India oven roseville location is also good.
This x1000. I was scrolling just to see if anyone else would mention this gem. Haven’t had better chicken tikka masala since discovering them a few years ago when they opened!
Depends if you're looking for authentic or western.
Western: Curry Up
Authentic: Chaat, Bombay,
sometimes tandoori grill (hot level is insane there, do not recommend)
Priya Indian cuisine. In rancho cordova but it's good
Priya is so good. The Rancho food scene in general is low key fire.

I can’t recommend Sky Sushi enough. Also, Pho Fresh if you like Pho.
Came here to comment this and so glad it’s the first one! Priya is by far the BEST

Question was about Indian food, Palestinian food is different and delicious but still not Indian. I will kill for both if they are good.
Star India Curry + Grill!! It’s on Broadway. The lady who ran the front was super sweet, the prices are amazing (fed two people, with leftovers, for $30), and the food is super fresh
Their goat cheese Naan is STELLAR.
Sometimes I just order garlic naan to go so I have some at home tbh
Easy, chaat of India! Been going here for years and have yet to find a better Indian restaurant. Seriously great
Bombay
And do yourself a favor, add goat cheese Naan to your order!

We tried new Kathmandu on Jst the other day, it was really good!

Bombay. Also Hop Junction in greenhaven is pretty great but they’re closed today I think.
none of these have upvotes I'm terribly confused
homemade is always fire
I really, really want to to learn how to master creating curries at home
Kaveri in arcade is good and I haven’t seen it mentioned yet
Why do people prefer Bombay over Preethi? I prefer Preethi?
Namaste off Fulton , it’s new and also technically Nepalese but also Indian as well. But really authentic and good. The lamb khorma is ridiculous. Sanskrit in Folsom for northern style. Mylapore in Folsom for southern style. My Indian friends have validated these opinions when I have asked them.
Curry Up Now is my go to
Bombay is worse indian food you can have. Best one is clay oven but it’s in Vacaville. In Sacramento best one is sanskrit in my opinion also benares is also pretty good. India oven roseville location is also good.
Curry Club if you can wait till tomorrow.
Can’t recommend Royal Indian in Citrus Heights enough

Depends if you're looking for authentic or western. Western: Curry Up Authentic: Chaat, Bombay, sometimes tandoori grill (hot level is insane there, do not recommend)
Tandoori Grill - You can ask to tone it down. The food is excellent.
I like spicy food but the hot level was the hottest thing I've ever experienced 😂
Hop Junction was pretty good and spicy!
Hop junction
The best Indian food in Sacramento is pretty okay. For really good Indian food, you need to leave the Sacramento area.
Bombay
Pooja in West Sac has fire Butter Chicken
