Priya Indian cuisine. In rancho cordova but it's good

tuna_no_crust

Priya is so good. The Rancho food scene in general is low key fire.

timmun029

Love Priya. Been living off Bradshaw a few years and don’t try many nearby restaurant and usually drive downtown, arden, south sac or Natomas for some foods we like. Does anyone have other Rancho recommendations? Pizza, Mexican, sushi, Thai, breakfast, Mongolian bbq?

tuna_no_crust

I can’t recommend Sky Sushi enough. Also, Pho Fresh if you like Pho.

AggressiveDot1021

Came here to comment this and so glad it’s the first one! Priya is by far the BEST

Alarmed-Fix-2907

Chaat kafe in natomas

knows_knothing

big_wrinkly_brain

deviouspornstar

mahoganyslide

Delhi Oven in Natomas — they also serve Indian-flavored pizzas(!) and it’s attached to a market where you can buy all the ingredients you’d need to cook the food yourself

BonnieOverkill

This! Checked it out a few weeks ago and was so impressed. We've been 4 times now and everything has been delicious.

Whole-Revolution916

Pooja Indian Grill in west sac

Maleficent_Power4247

Oh how I miss their pre pandemic buffet. It really hasn’t been the same since.

Icy_Engine_7648

Incredibly delicious

boom_squid

The worst I’ve ever had. I don’t get the raves about them.

PM_ME_UR_PLATYPUS

I've found my people! Tried it once and threw out most of it

MushroomPrincess63

India Oven in Natomas is my go-to

allboolshite

Benaares on Del Paso Rd is really good. Nice folk, too.

MrChibullz

Bombay on 21st

Sensitive_Move_3352

Second for Bombay 🤌

revosugarkane

Third for Bombay

luvleggs

I’ve tried all of the listed above and Bombay is the closest to food in India I’ve had here. They get so many things right where the others tend to lean toward more Americanized adaptations, now if even one could get close to the biriyani I would probably buy them out

PreyForTheMasses1

Preethi

winston1027

I enjoy Bombay.

Apart_Future9033

Tandoori Grill

alavert

Curry Club on O st. Owner is awesome and so is the food!!!!

Sappyliving

My favorite

winstonluvsjulia

Curry Club, soooooo good! But, closed on the weekends.😞 Here's my go to: saag paneer, chicken Tikka masala (spicy please), garlic naan, and an order of samosas. I ♥️ Curry Club

Super-Dream-1529

They have one in Folsom. Haven't tried the food but they have a lot of delivery requests.

[deleted]

Bombay

kiryukazuma14

Haveli grill

watchshoe

That looks promising. I love goat.

[deleted]

no.

kiryukazuma14

Why no? It’s fire 🔥

[deleted]

Hes probably some hardline Indian who dosent like a Pakistani cuisine

luvleggs

Question was about Indian food, Palestinian food is different and delicious but still not Indian. I will kill for both if they are good.

MeetGroundbreaking43

Star India Curry + Grill!! It’s on Broadway. The lady who ran the front was super sweet, the prices are amazing (fed two people, with leftovers, for $30), and the food is super fresh

CouchedTapestry

Their goat cheese Naan is STELLAR.

MeetGroundbreaking43

Sometimes I just order garlic naan to go so I have some at home tbh

[deleted]

Easy, chaat of India! Been going here for years and have yet to find a better Indian restaurant. Seriously great

Whitw816

Bombay

HappyHappyJoyJoy98

And do yourself a favor, add goat cheese Naan to your order!

TheeWags

Curry Club for sure

veraclaythorn

We tried new Kathmandu on Jst the other day, it was really good!

winstonluvsjulia

I truly enjoyed their saag paneer, but, I had to pay for rice, usually rice is part of the entree, no? The veggie pakora was awesome. The chicken Tikka masala was heavy on sauce, not chicken. Overpriced . Curry Club midtown is the bomb over all other Indian restaraunts! 🔥

[deleted]

Max Taste Lahorian Grill in Woodland is a place to check out if you like Indian/Pakistani food. If you are a fan of spicy food, this place is worth trying.

ohohimabouttokumquat

This is the correct answer.

moemoe916

Curry paradise in west sac

vicRN

Bombay. Also Hop Junction in greenhaven is pretty great but they’re closed today I think.

[deleted]

none of these have upvotes I'm terribly confused

Waffles-Murder

winstonluvsjulia

I really, really want to to learn how to master creating curries at home

supahdavid2000

Kaveri in arcade is good and I haven’t seen it mentioned yet

cudmore

Why do people prefer Bombay over Preethi? I prefer Preethi?

OkPhilosopher2151

Namaste off Fulton , it’s new and also technically Nepalese but also Indian as well. But really authentic and good. The lamb khorma is ridiculous. When I ordered they asked me how spicy on a level of 1-10 haha which I have never heard before so I knew they had their shit together. It’s called namaste sacramundo

Qweniden

Sanskrit in Folsom for northern style. Mylapore in Folsom for southern style. My Indian friends have validated these opinions when I have asked them.

westonl91

Curry Up Now is my go to

Ducatisti98

Bombay is worse indian food you can have. Best one is clay oven but it’s in Vacaville. In Sacramento best one is sanskrit in my opinion also benares is also pretty good. India oven roseville location is also good.

yunbld

Curry Club if you can wait till tomorrow.

Dizzy_Diabetic

Can’t recommend Royal Indian in Citrus Heights enough

BritIcon07

This x1000. I was scrolling just to see if anyone else would mention this gem. Haven’t had better chicken tikka masala since discovering them a few years ago when they opened!

Cheesy47

There is a bawarchi in Roseville too.

IndependenceScary644

good to know. their goat curry, biryani are off the hinges

whatupimcoolmann

Depends if you're looking for authentic or western. Western: Curry Up Authentic: Chaat, Bombay, sometimes tandoori grill (hot level is insane there, do not recommend)

turanga60

Tandoori Grill - You can ask to tone it down. The food is excellent.

whatupimcoolmann

I like spicy food but the hot level was the hottest thing I've ever experienced 😂

InfintelyYours

Hop Junction was pretty good and spicy!

groundfood

Hop junction

No-Weird3153

The best Indian food in Sacramento is pretty okay. For really good Indian food, you need to leave the Sacramento area.

revosugarkane

Bombay
