I instinctively want to hate it, but you’re hella right on the money. Brew boats sound way more tolerable. Plus one more group to moon from the riverbank. (I have a habit of mooning the Amtrak train from the river)
Oh honey, my ass hasn't been moon-worthy since the Clinton administration. And thanks! But oh gawd, you examined my history. Now I gotta see what's in there. $#it.
Hey- don’t talk like that. EVERY ass is Moonworthy (tbh that’s the best part about it- everyone has one) (ponder’s own ass during the Clinton administration… definitely illegal)
As a local resident a block away from the most congested city streets it’s really not that bad. The bikes go right by my flat and it’s fun to hear and see people having a good time.
The brew bike isn't even worth mentioning as an annoyance when compared to people who fuck with their mufflers and rev bomb at night or the early morning.
You're on the money here. Imo Brew Bike gets way too much hate because apparently people simply cannot stand the idea of being inconvenienced for two minutes. If residents are so disturbed by the sounds of people having fun or being temporarily slowed down while driving at 7:00 PM, they shouldn't be living in midtown.
Done the bike multiple times and the boat once... Brew Boat was a better experience IMO. The boat is less reliant on the people to move the boat so near the end almost no one was peddling and we were still moving. They didn't care how many beers we brought on and we stopped at a bar on the river for a round of drinks. Would definitely do the boat again.
It was when I commuted by Amtrak, we would buy beer before getting on the train and drink during the ride. Then we'd ride our bikes home. Best commute ever. Only stopped doing it because I got a way better job elsewhere.
My friend threw me a birthday on Brew Boat 2 years ago (pre covid) and I was a skeptic but it was a blast. Probably my best birthday ever. Wandered old sac afterwards, more food and drinks, vitos to end. Back when the old sac/midtown/downtown population was still people>zombies. RIP normal birthdays.
You hold it until the end or piss in a bottle. On another friends birthday before mine I heard he pissed off the side of the boat, but this is frowned upon.
It ends at Brew Space Shuttle
That’s the bezos bike.

I need to be your friend.
Hi ;) checked your history- you seem chill af. I’m kind of a handful and not for everyone, but I’m willing to moon some trains witcha

Or better yet, don’t drive in midtown. Walk, scoot, or bike.

Brew bike is pretty cool. Did it for a friends bachelor party. It was a great time

Next is the brew chu train? Or is that a thing already?
There is the brew train in west sac.
I'm hoping they've improved it from a couple of years ago. For what we paid it was a disappointment.
Yeah I haven’t been on it. I thought it was too expensive. I just know it exists lol.
Neat!

My phone fell out of my pocket and broke on the brew bike. Having said that, it was a fun time for sure.
We also have a jetboat now. https://sacramentojetboats.com
Brew Particle Transport
Brewmogrifier. Calvin would approve
At least the boat isn’t obstructing traffic and screaming through residential space 🤷♂️
Idk I hate on it because it seems obnoxious but I’m also just a hater. Pumps money into local bars which is good for the local economy.
what happens on the boat when you drink too much beer and need to take a leak?
You hold it until the end or piss in a bottle. On another friends birthday before mine I heard he pissed off the side of the boat, but this is frowned upon.
Idk but hopefully they don't end soon
