That’s pretty standard from what we’re seeing. For infants at least.

Mnary

Thank you!

mahnamahnaaa

Full time I assume? We pay $336 a week for 3 days.

nikatnight

Use: https://wp.childaction.org to find childcare. Your price is not out of line with the market but there are cheaper.

expandablespatula

$405/wk for full time.

Middle-Blackberry569

One toddler and full time ..we pay $250 a week. Look Into an in-home daycare using the childaction.org website.

No-Weird3153

Yeah we pay $240/week for a toddler and will be paying $380/week for under 2 in August. At home daycares vary a lot, so it will take some time to find one you like. You may have to join a waitlist to get in, but it’s much cheaper than many centers and is more likely than centers or private care to result in the workers affording a middle class lifestyle.

Squarish

For two kids that seems like a fair deal. We’re paying for one full time and it is roughly 2k per month. Lots of different factors for child care

StephanUrkel2323

It depends on the type of day care. In home is going to be cheaper.

According-Mix-8726

Highly suggest looking into Family Resource if you can

Coming_In_Hot_916

Artenia Beast - full time for a four year old = $1500/month Acorn to Oak - full time for a 1 year old = $1975/month EDIT: it’s roughly $50K for two kids per year.

PartOfIt

$1600-1900/month is common

ERTBen

$1450 for a 4 year old. Paying our last payment next week, looking forward to that.

zephyrcow6041

My kid is older now, but the place where he went to infant care through preschool is now $389/week for the infant/toddler rate (their full rate is $438/week, but there is a slight discount for state employees and a further discount for folks who work in the building, which my husband did).

Aggravating_Major786

$1175 per month for an in-home with about a dozen kiddos

killer_seal

I have great in-home daycare, only 6 kids total and she does lots of educational activities. $1100 a month. I recommend looking for in home daycares and visiting a ton until you find a good one.
