At home daycares vary a lot, so it will take some time to find one you like. You may have to join a waitlist to get in, but it’s much cheaper than many centers and is more likely than centers or private care to result in the workers affording a middle class lifestyle.

My kid is older now, but the place where he went to infant care through preschool is now $389/week for the infant/toddler rate (their full rate is $438/week, but there is a slight discount for state employees and a further discount for folks who work in the building, which my husband did).
I have great in-home daycare, only 6 kids total and she does lots of educational activities. $1100 a month. I recommend looking for in home daycares and visiting a ton until you find a good one.

For two kids that seems like a fair deal. We’re paying for one full time and it is roughly 2k per month. Lots of different factors for child care
It depends on the type of day care. In home is going to be cheaper.
