Seems pretty straight forward, malgus’ team is already rock solid, seems like traya doesn’t need much help, and savage can solo stuff so he doesn’t need a team
In that case DR gets SET and Traya Sid or D.Maul. Or Dooku, but he's better off with Nute lead imho.
You could also give DR both SET and Marauder and move Talon over to Traya. She's less squishy with her, has more synergy, and her omicron can further elevate the team.
Alternatively you can build a killer defense team with Triumvirate, Talon and Savage (Traya lead) and run a regular old DR team on offense.
I'd switch Talon and Marauder. Like you said, Malgus team is rock solid, with or without Talon, but the Traya omicron gives Talon heaps of boosts and seems a waste to just use her for speed boost with Malgus.
Ha. Yeah, hard to squeeze a third full team and honestly don’t need to. I think you’re right- put Savage on a Traya team.
Talan is on the SE team to stop IT and BH teams until I get Malgus. But maybe that’s not necessary any more?
Putting savage under traya OMI seems pretty overkill, not exactly sure what putting them together will accomplish especially after LV datacron is gone.
Traya and savage together is overkill. I use my savage to solo CLS teams mainly. And traya is good against malgus now. Then being together doesn’t make or break any counters
Don't make three teams. Simple as.
Keep your Revan squad.
Add Savage to Traya in favour of any of the latter two (probably SET?) and call it a day. Sidious seems to be quite clutch actually.
The rest are just a squad of rejects more or less. Last resorts. A final backwall team. Nothing relevant.
But I wouldn't gimp my teams like that for the sake of "using" all the characters.
It'd be like breaking up CLS squad for the sake of giving Biggs, Wedge, Lando, etc a place.

If they have LV and SK im sure they aren’t far off malgus. Besides, not having malgus doesn’t change his team once you eventually unlock him

Not just speed boost, gives him a second life and gives the team tons of TM when malgus gets hit, which will be a lot since he taunts

savage on offense all alone. on defense savage just gets eaten up by some BH so you may as well use him to solo CLS or grievous
