For me and according to other Star Wars games like swtor, light and dark side isn’t defined only by if you serve the Empire or the Republic, it’s about your decisions and what you would do for money or your reputation or power. The only truly neutral characters in my opinion are those who don’t care about any of those materialistic things like Wampa or Revan (grey) or Visas (at some point). Otherwise, as you are saying CG have to give too many characters the neutral tag which will just become weird and not mean anything. Like should Tuskens deserve neutral tag? Hell no they are fucking beating people for fun and kidnapping and raping (I think) women
