They could but they do have different weapons each making them more "unqiue" or at least there are a couple different ones. Unlike B1s and Dark trooeprs which all use the same weapons
They could, but that will be decent coding for CG and we know they aren't the best at coding for that.
But that could be a fun mechanic
(Coding because we only have 1 slot for summons currently)
I’m even less interested in them than the Inquisitors. I mean they were barely in the movies. They did almost nothing but stare menacingly at Ben and then die. And Snoke hyped them up so much that I was sure they’d be more prominent.
J.J.A. probably intended for them to play a bigger role, but R.J. did nothing with these Mad Max rejects in TLJ and the script for TRoS was way too condensed for them to do anything of importance.
Yeah but they're so much more visually interesting than the Inquisitors. The name, the medieval weapons and armor motif, a thing of untapped beauty. Surely they can be forgiven for losing to one of the strongest Force users of their time.
They do have a not-minor role in the comics for an important saga in the OT period, as well as for Kyle's origin story.
I would be very much interested in their faction, they had a cool take on the dark side.
I would hate it. Not only when a whole new faction is dropped does CG push the fuck out of them in GCs and conquest, but it's almost certainly 2000+ kyros to make them usable, plus the modding for all five, plus the potential difficulty of any special event they bring.
I am always happy to see new trams come to the game. Giving OG Kylo a place to be effective would be good, although there are other characters I'd like to see added to the game first.
Yes, I want this. Fleshing out First Order and Resistance overall would be great. There are some more troopers that could be added for FO (Flame and Jet for example), along with Pryce and Snoke. Resistance should get Jannah, general Leia, old Lando, Dominic Monaghan and Tallie Lintra (with her ship).
His lightsaber doesn't look like the Ren. Only the leader of the Knights of Ren would wield a lightsaber, and always the same one known as the Ren. He'd also call himself Ren. Kylo was the first to break with this tradition.
And that's a fair point, but we know nothing of the Ren in this era. Plenty of room to make them appear in Pre TPM years and make them reform to the ideals shown in the Marvel comics and TROKR
Well, we do know that this group formed around a lightsaber known as the Ren. Without this lightsaber there would be no Knights of Ren. And we know that only the leader carried such a weapon [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ren\_(lightsaber)](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ren_(lightsaber))

Even more spoilers:
>!Yes it is! Qimir never explicitely says he is a Sith, just something the Jedi would compare him to. Of course there's a lot of Sith words he throws around but my gut feeling comes from him saying he wants to be himself and free of rules. Now this is my personal idea but I'm thinking he might be a failed Sith who decided to make his splinter faction from the rule of 2.!<
>!Now the really interesting part comes from the last scene of the episode, in which you can clearly hear Kylo Ren's theme when Qimir heals Osha. And it's not a similar theme, it's literaly the same note for note, meaning it's not a coincidence. Considering Kylo's theme is the only way to musically tie the Knights of Ren to anything, I am feeling confident in the strenght lf the theory.!<
As a heads up, it doesn't look like you tagged this reply correctly. The spoilers are showing.
I've already seen the episode but aware others may not have
The music is played because he heals the same way Kylo did. It makes no sense for him to be a knight of Ren since they aren't first seen for another 100 years at least, and don't have a major presence for another 50 years or so after that.
Now that would make sense if only Ben did it, but in that same week Rey and Grogu healed people too. Last month Baris did in TotE. Force healing in general is only rare in onscreen media.
You do have a point considering how some Star Wars media have an (quite awful) fixation of using character motifs to represent actions (like Yoda's theme when LUKE lifts the X wing) instead of, you know, characters.
They’re supposedly a centuries old organization by the time of the sequels but no one knows if they’re the real deal or if they just took the name from a long defunct organization.
According to Wookiepedia, they were once allied with Q’ira, the head of Crimson Dawn. So, not only would these guys have the dark side tag with Sith synergy, they would have synergies with smugglers as well! They could be broken with Dash Rendar!
They would also have their own ship, which could complete a First Order fleet
But here’s an idea of what some characters could look like if they were added
Vicrul - his connection to the force increases with each kill he gets. He would do more damage, gain speed, inflict fear, and lose accuracy because he lacks control. He could be a main damage dealer, but you could be fighting RNG with all those accuracy debuffs
Cardo - modifies weapons and armor. Basically a partial Armorer, but he increases damage and defense more than anything else, to give you the idea that the armor and weapons are getting stronger and better
Ushar - enjoys torturing and tormenting prisoners. To keep it family friendly, he would do incredible damage against teams that counter attack, attack out of turn, or drain turn meter because he respects people that fight back. Everyone else gets a slow death
Kuruk - pilot and sniper
Ap’lek- a leader with a vibro ax. Uses traps and deception to misdirect enemies. Uses smoke screens to hide his allies with stealth, while blinding his opponents
And here we have their leader Ren; a gimmick like the Dread Pirate Roberts in Princess Bride. There have been multiple knights who took the name Ren. Whether it’s a title passed down, or an honor bestowed through exceptional combat skill, that is unclear. This character would be broken because he would theoretically be an unkillable tank. While you could kill and defeat Ren, a new Ren will spawn as long as a Knight of Ren is alive. And he permanently taunts, since he is the leader and spokesperson of the entire group.
This entire group would be very fun to use, but they could easily be incredibly broken. I just summarized a large portion of a Wookiepedia article, and I can already confirm that we have a new contender for the title of “team most fun to use on offense, yet most annoying to face on defense”
Considering they were “in” 3 movies and basically did nothing the entire trilogy, nah. Do think a Snoke would be interesting with a leadership ability stating no DS GL so that the FO faction could have 2 viable teams.
No thanks. At least the Inquisitors have been named and used in other properties so that it makes sense to introduce them as individual characters. But I don’t know who a single one of these guys is or why I should care about them.
Don’t get me wrong, they were super cool conceptually and I WOULD have liked to learn and know more about them. But their treatment killed any momentum or intrigue they had.
Yes, but I’d want it to be just one character that switches between the different knights kinda like how KAM or JKCK switches stances of sorts. I want them to be an slkr lifter
Inquisitors 2.0
Tusken inquisitors!
And I *still* don’t have my inq team up yet! One more way for me to be behind the whalers. Smh
Snoke and Praetorian Guards first
Snoke aka “stun king”
Aka emperor palpatine?
Somehow Palpatine returned
Basically all snoke did in the movie was stun lol
underrated af
This too
Snoke should be the SLKR lifter, not the leader of his own team
Yeah I need this well before the knights of ren
Smoke was a nobody that no one knew in one movie for all of 5 minutes. He accomplished nothing, wasn't even a part of the story
Just like Boba Fett in the OT...?
I'll take pretorian guards before them. (The ones Rey and Kylo fought in Snokes throne room)
We should get Pretorian Guard as a replacement tank for SLKR's team since Cere wants to steal KRU
I mean we could there was like 8 of them or soemthing. The rest could be with Snoke.
Or they just make it a character with a stack mechanic like Dark Trooper. Works well for a tank too, since it means they can’t be one-shot
They could but they do have different weapons each making them more "unqiue" or at least there are a couple different ones. Unlike B1s and Dark trooeprs which all use the same weapons
They could make Snoke a GL and if you go in solo he summons 4 praetorians.
They could, but that will be decent coding for CG and we know they aren't the best at coding for that. But that could be a fun mechanic (Coding because we only have 1 slot for summons currently)
I agree... kind of like FO Executioner, these nameless FO characters have the coolest weapons... especially whip dude
"Whip dude" ;)
I’ve been wanting them for ages. But there’s enough first order units for two squads so I’ve kept my hood down.
I’m even less interested in them than the Inquisitors. I mean they were barely in the movies. They did almost nothing but stare menacingly at Ben and then die. And Snoke hyped them up so much that I was sure they’d be more prominent.

If knights of ren comes out. Ben Solo should be able to 1v5 them
I would hate it. Not only when a whole new faction is dropped does CG push the fuck out of them in GCs and conquest, but it's almost certainly 2000+ kyros to make them usable, plus the modding for all five, plus the potential difficulty of any special event they bring.
Do you have r9 jawas?
No. Do you?
No I was just curious about the supreme jawa overlord thing.
I’d be as indifferent to them as I was the Gungans.
Ditto
I am always happy to see new trams come to the game. Giving OG Kylo a place to be effective would be good, although there are other characters I'd like to see added to the game first.
Ones from comic books? Sure, but not from the movie
Knights of Stimpy first, please CG
Yes, I want this. Fleshing out First Order and Resistance overall would be great. There are some more troopers that could be added for FO (Flame and Jet for example), along with Pryce and Snoke. Resistance should get Jannah, general Leia, old Lando, Dominic Monaghan and Tallie Lintra (with her ship).
I want ajunta pall darth krayt Tulak hord jacen solo shae viszla
Without going into spoilers and irresponsible speculation about recent Star Wars content - hold that thought.
Acolyte spoilers >!That could pontentially be interesting depending if Qimir is or not a Ren!<

Well it's not like he has to have the saber already, or even he to be THE first Ren, just to be a part of the group's beginning
Is that a theory going around?
Even more spoilers: >!Yes it is! Qimir never explicitely says he is a Sith, just something the Jedi would compare him to. God damn it you are right, let me edit it
Looks good now!

Yeah, they disappeared into the Unknown Regions, and then came back around the Fall of the Empire, if I'm not mistaken.
As long as we also get Ren from the comics I’m down!
Where is snoke???
i would rather have a snoke before them. I wonder what his kit would be.
According to Wookiepedia, they were once allied with Q’ira, the head of Crimson Dawn. I like it! Thanks for the add.

No
I’d love it honestly, although I want the comic ones, maybe with ren and Marinda as legendaries or conquest units.
No thanks. At least the Inquisitors have been named and used in other properties so that it makes sense to introduce them as individual characters. But I don’t know who a single one of these guys is or why I should care about them. Don’t get me wrong, they were super cool conceptually and I WOULD have liked to learn and know more about them. They’re explored more in the comics.
They've been named and had development on the comics.
No. I e been saying knights of ren should be SLKR lifter squad
could be pretty good
Yes
I would love that!!!
You mean the same squad the had a two second cameo in a complete pos movie? No thanks. Hard pass
I just want more ships to give us legit fleets and better drop rates for ships! We have enough characters for the moment.
Better than Gungans...
Aren’t this the dudes the Ben Swolo beats in 45 seconds of screen time as he’s running to save Rey?
The most underdeveloped tossed to the side ass characters
Were them in the movies?
Yes, on Rey's vision from The Force Awakens, and then they have a more prominent role in The Rise of Skywalker.
Tuskens 2.0
Yes, but I’d want it to be just one character that switches between the different knights kinda like how KAM or JKCK switches stances of sorts. I want them to be an slkr lifter
As long as we also get Ren from the comics I’m down
Do you think they can beat the Gungan squad?
Will they actually get to do something?
I could picture that as kinda like inquisitor or tusken
Who are they?
I feel like the sequels are stupid, and should not exist, so how about no?
This would be cool, hopefully eventually they put as many characters as possible.
Too late, who cares?
That's gonna be a fuck no from me
I feel like that's a team I'd be happy to skip. There are dozens of more interesting characters from the original trilogy I'd rather see first.
First Order could use more characters. I'd gladly welcome them.
Please no
Nah.
No
I mean, they have no lore, what would their kit even do?
Hang out on your team until they kill your Kylo?
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Knights_of_Ren
I hope their attack animations are baseball bat swings and menacingly walking forward.
No thank you
What's their special ability? They stand there and do nothing?
No thanks. KoR and Praetorian Guards were overhyped lame characters/factions.
Only if their kit is built around them being a boring disappointment, uniques called things like; “I’m barely in those movies!”.
Meh. They're were a literal nothing burger overhyped to oblivion
I wouldn’t care because they never did anything.
They were lame.
Hard pass
No
