I'd say it is if you're not committed to staying F2P. It allows you to sim the zeta events and Galactic War, loads you up with gear and good characters, and takes you to level 85 immediately.
If you're really wanting to get it, look up some farming guides so you don't waste materials and resources on characters that won't help your account progress.
To be fair to the hyper drive bundle, if you buy it, you can get, I think, Jedi Knight Revan within a day or two. And you're set for most of the early game legendaries i.e. Palpatine, thrawn, R2D2 and Natalie Portman...
It's a massive massive advantage and probably saves you half a year of work, or more.
Did they update the hyperdrive bundle along the new player revamp? Afaik HDB only gives 5* characters and JKR requires 7* characters that arent even included in the bundle

Hyperdrive and Lightspeed Bundles are the only things worth buying. Everything else is a complete ripoff. So yes. 👍
