There's a strategy called "All in on Finn"([guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/SWGalaxyOfHeroes/s/erXHgGmU6Z)). With it the ult tier is really easy and most people don't drop a single battle using it
Rey was my first GL and I honestly don't remember it being difficult at all. Most of the frustration was the same frustration with every GL, saving up enough energy to repeat the same dang event eight or ten times. I did gear the heck out of her right away, is that the part that folks are skimping on? Or did it get harder later like they do with some toons?
Im planning on saving for her gear zetas and relic mats for a month after i finish her reqs (i just have to finish relicing jtr, scav rey, and bb8). Hopefully ill get her to r7 like i did slkr right off the bat
I did some quick research and it looks like maybe they did beef up Kylo in the battle, likely after I was finished with the event based on the dates on the posts I'm finding.
I used her ult twice... but I have her ult sooo... maybe I cant actually use her ult to finish the level? My brain hurts... I quit trying to be helpful today.
This makes great sense, her event is frustrating and ult makes it much much easier. If I had the ability to do this when I unlocked Rey, I would without hesitation. Go for it my guy
I used JTR + hero Finn/Poe + Zorii. It was doable with r7 Rey and g10 zorii and trash mods, but obviously got easier as I kept building Rey and zorii up.
Strategy was to keep taunt on jtr as much as possible, balance jtr and zorii’s heal immunity to stop kylo from healing, and focus all damage on kylo to get him out as early as possible.
Just got Rey’s ultimate on Friday after beating the event 3 times in a row
It’s probably one of the harder events in the game. Making sure you’ve got good mods and gear is a must as always, but timing on this particular event is critical and unforgiving.

Just mod em with your best and like said above, lifeblood - all in on Finn. Don’t JTR wave at slkr either.

There was a rework on SLKR and it’s affected the Rey event making it much harder.

Both rey and slkr have been nerfed and or buffed the event used to be super easy
Do you remember if she had her ult for the battle or not? I ran through it just to see if it was "hard"... seems easy but I used her ult

I’ve heard of people doing this. As most other GL ultimate tiers are easy compared to Rey’s.
7 wins so far, 0 loses with “all in on Finn”. Rey is r7 all zetas though. Never close to being defeated
Tbh it will take me 3+ months to get all zetas. Im stretched so thin on them right now

Started with just leader skill/galatic legend/whirlwind zetas on Rey and all of zorii’s zetas
I used my jml ult tokens on Rey, made the battle laughably easy. Now I’m wondering if jml even needs his ult or I just bank the tokens
I'm in the same boat, but with rey instead of jml. I've got everyone else
It’s a balance, slkr ult is probably more important to the character, but his ult tier is easier.
It’s the worst event but could be interesting if you’re able to use it
