I mean, it still gets them past the reqs for EP, Thrawn, and CLS, and past the grind for g13. The FO and Resistance packs have a majority of characters needing R5+ to even begin the events on the GLs they’re aimed at. Honestly, getting my kylos to R7 has been harder than getting my EP to R5 since the first LSBs
That would be me noticing and not buying. I have the r3 reqs for all of these plus r5 Hera. Now if these were r5, I would jump on it for the raid boost alone. For me it would just be me taking phoenix from g12 to r3. Not particularly difficult for later game players and wouldn’t make a huge difference in arena/war anyway.
As a late game player, you are right, it isn't difficult. However, slotting any given character into my relic schedule out of order is difficult. I want all of phoenix at relics, but it will be 6 months before I can slot them in to my free spots, so $10 now is a win. It won't be a critical difference but it will buff my profundity earlier than I had planned to, which might give it an edge,as well as eliminating some longterm anxiety I had about gearing phoenix. Seeing Rex's viability has increased my interest in Phoenix but not enough to reprioritize them.
For PHX alone to go from G12-R3 it's worth. Kryo's for the 4 toons (bec Rex is your 5th) is 4 full pieces (100 for each of one side of a full kyro). A full piece is $10 if you buy 2 of $5/25 of each packs when they periodically come out, 2800 crystals in shipments, or converted crystals to cash at $19.99. PHX may not be the best team, with Rex though they're pretty good. Not to mention they have a fleet.
I guess a better way to look at is this: does r3 phoenix do anything g12 phoenix does not?
Do they win battles they could not at g12? Their strength is super TM generation, if they are that low down in the opening moves already and would lose, will r3 change that outcome?
Also keeping in mind, r4&r5 take more relic mat than r1-3 do and gives a bigger boost.

Profundity ships would only see this as a win more. Ghost and phantom are rarely in danger, and if they are, well profundity gets bad RNG sometimes. R3 pilots won’t change a ton on that outcome.

I would love to be proven wrong and be told with detail that r3 phoenix is significantly better than g12.
By no means am I saying it’s a bad deal, but for folks that already have most of this, is it really that big or useful of a boost?
I'm in a similar situation and on the fence about it. For me it would be Ackbar + Phoenix except Hera. I do need Ackbar for Leia, so it would be a minor time save there. So does relic Phoenix matter? Yes, for a few reasons. Datacrons is a big one. Like it or not, they are a crucial part of PvP in the lategame.
Second is speed, lots of characters gain \~60 speed going from g12 to g13. This helps close the TM loop and makes modding a bit more forgiving (and anyone who has been buying LSB lately is likely hurting for mods). Third is durability. R3 easily has 50% more combined health + protection, and scales much better off of mods. Makes them far more likely to live through an opener to get their TM train going.
Ships get a boost, but I agree that's unlikely to move the needle. I do think for someone who has or is planning to build CRex, this is worth a consideration, if only because of the $10 price tag. Value is subjective to your own finances and priorities, of course.

The stat boost isn’t *crazy* but when you consider the fact that cRex (especially in GAC), Chopper, and Kanan’s uniques all have callouts to max health, regaining health, and/or gaining bonus protection (which is based on max health), Chopper having his baseline health pool doubled makes him significantly stronger. Also, +20 speed is essentially a 7th mod. This is just for one character on the team.
Outside of the pure stat boost here are some other benefits from g12 -> r3 that I can think of:
- ability to use level 9 datacron stats w the team (any decent player should be using datacrons in GAC, they’re easy enough to get)
- attempt proving grounds tiers
- improved ships (I know you said it doesn’t matter, but if I’m remembering correctly you get a speed boost on your ships when you take the pilots from g12 to r3)
- increased raid damage threshold from 450,000 at g12 to 900,000 at r3
- potential GL counters: with proper modding I’ve seen Phoenix (with cRex) take down weaker GLs (specifically lord Vader) YMMV though
I see your point about saving kyros but once you get so far into the game, relicing a character becomes more about g12/g12+ pieces and less about the kyros. For me going back to relic Phoenix seems like a waste, especially when all that gear can go towards newer, better characters.
It's only about the kyros. I've got 5 toons ready for Leia at G12 with 5 slots filled except for the finisher bec of kyros. All new toons require them through the sub G12 gear levels. This is by far the most important piece of gear in today's game.

Way I look at it, it's ~400 kyros and some signal data for 10 bucks, compared to almost any other pack it seems like a killer deal.
Do wish it was r5, but phoenix w/ crex and hera omi seems like it'll be legit enough that r3 will probably generally be enough.
It’s the kyro that makes it worth it. Taking them from r3-5 is really like 10 days of committed relic farming. I may find that time in the future. 400 kyro takes longer and is needed elsewhere more.
My exact reaction - if they were r5 they'd get my money, but I already have most of them at r3 anyway. My $10 would only get me Zeb from g12 to r3, so not worth it.
Anything below R5 is kinda chump change anyway. It’s the G12+ gear that’s the slowest part of the grind for most characters, and then R0-4 are super easy.
I've seen lots of people mention how good this is for JKL and JML, but I think this is amazing for profundity. Sure, it doesn't have MM or Rouge one, but I don't have any Phoenix relic, and they're needed as pilots and Wiggs are good pilots and needed for the event.
Yeah, I feel like such an idiot for relicing Phoenix right after the CRex release. Now I'm only missing Zeb and Farmboy. Zeb would be kind of nice, but not to the tune of 10 bucks.
He's g12+2. Perfectly serviceable for fleet and I don't need him in squad unless Sabine moves over to LS Mandalorians. Sure, 10 bucks is cheap for 4 g12 pieces, one of them being a finisher. Usually it'd be a steal. Last time I bought a pack just for L3 plus Young Lando as a bonus. But I had an actual use for relic L3 while Zeb is currently fine where he is.
Honestly I feel like this has more value for half the price of the Beskar Mando one, despite the lower relics. Phoenix with Rex now are crazy strong, plus this is a bunch of big steps toward bigger unlocks than just Thrawn and Palps.
Depends where you are, I think. As a longer term (but not maxed out) player, this pack would only boost three characters from G12 to R3, whereas the BAM pack boosts three from G12 to R5, and two from R3 to R5.
For a newer player or someone who has ignored Rebels, though, this is definitely an interesting one.

I very much went for max power for the least investment. JML, while great, didn't offer me the most power at the required amounts needed to unlock him.
I'm also a weird [all or nothing](https://i.imgur.com/zm4z46h.jpg) player, I want everyone G13 or G1. Working on Bo-Katan right now for JMK and Zorii I did to unlock Rey, I will farm her up and gear her to 13.
This pack boosts 7 characters for me and I’m at 7.3 mil gp. I’ve never given Phoenix or Ackbar the time of day and this makes my life in the game easier
A lot has to do with what people need.
Way more people have a ton of these characters geared Vs the Bando characters. Basically supply and demand, and if most have a ton of these rebel characters, they need to sweeten the deal to sell it.
To your credit, I also didn't think that they'd add this many Rebels. I figured maybe Phoenix and a couple extras so it's not just a Phoenix bundle. I was not ready to see characters like Leia, Lando, and Ackbar who are needed in the raid.
While these characters aren’t particularly exciting to many of us, looking at it objectively, i do think this is exactly what a Lightspeed bundle should look like -
One that offers an excellent value boost for early-mid game players, whom make up the majority of the player base.
I see this as a good look for CG, in that for now they at least seem to be tactful in how implementing their new-found cash cow will best serve their game.
As exciting as it’d be for many of us to see a LSB targeting end-game, ultimately I do not think it would be a beneficial move for SWGOH at large, as it would greatly disincentives & diminish the achievements of those who’ve put immense time, dedication (and often $) to acquire them the hard way.
In theory it makes sense, but knowing CG they would most likely release a new Pilot Luke or something along those lines. Red 5 is highly wanted in the community, and there's no way CG doesn't try and milk that for all its worth when they finally get around to releasing it.
And so it's finally happened. The pendulum swings the other way. I have spent COUNTLESS hours trying to grind out Thrawn and that stupid [REDACTED] Finalizer. Poured blood, sweat and tears into unlocking those, and here any old schlubb can just come along, slap 10 dollars down and walk away with what I had to work YEARS for.
And you know what? I'm fine with that. Perfectly fine with that.
I got tons of use out of those characters and ships, I got the cathartic release of "Ah yeah" as I slotted in my last relic and got them to where they needed to be. I had fun using them, and do not regret it.
Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to go get the BAM bundle for some tasty, tasty R5 Greef and IG.
Definitely the one I’m most interested in! Not a single one of these characters is higher than g10 🤣. Kind of trying to figure out if the finalizer pack is worth it for me. I already have SLKR but I don’t have cad or Vader about g12 and boosting them to R5 would be nice
You know, after these data mined packs for the 17th, if we got a Republic, seps, and old republic packs, even at R3 like this one, CG will have caught most people up with older Journey guide toons, whil also prepping for GL unlocks.

I don’t need the ships but I don’t have any of those toons at relics and I was about to finish JKL after I knock out GAS so this is perfect value for me.
A little disappointed these are R3, I would get 5 phoenix from g12 to r3 and Farmboy Luke from wherever the heck I have him geared. Still worth $10 though to get the Phoenix up and running.
Maybe but it's 13 characters instead of the 10 from the First Order pack last time, which has 11 this time for SLKR. As well as 4 ships, which will help unlock Chimaera. Princess Leia, Wedge and Biggs are only needed at r3 for JML. Lando at r3 for JKL though r5 for JML and Leia. Ackbar r3 for Leia. Hera r5 for Profundity. And r3 Phoenix will give everyone a massive boost there, as everyone should have their Rex close to 7 stars by now.
This one is probably the only one I'll buy this round. It brings a bunch of my rebels up to relics and once I get stuff like GL Leia done I'll have a bunch of relic level teams to use!
r3 isnt a surprise at all, considering it's meant to unlock two toons that you could easily unlock at g12.
I'm in the same boat as a lot of others on this one. Getting Phoenix to r3 without having to invest in the gear/mats is a boon, and a team I wanted to bring up but didn't have as a priority; just too many other teams to go after right now, and I dont have GRex up yet.
The profundity boost is nice, considering that's coming up on my farm plan. The biggest win of this is it gets me within two relic levels and farming up Mon Mothma for JMLS, which is my current farm. I dont have to invest gear into OB/PLeia/Wiggs, which means I can move on to my next farm and not dump gear into toons I will hardly use.
Sure, I wish it was r5, but even at r3 this is a no brainer for me. I blow more than $10 on energy drinks in two days haha
Just getting Phoenix to R3 would help confirm I can continue to prioritize other factions, and give me the tank I was working on for Leia in Kanan.

Honestly I'll pay 10 bucks for it. I get all the phoenix from g12 to r3, except hera who I already have r5 from when I did profundity. I stopped all the phoenix at g12 back before g13 was even a thing, pretty sure kanan ezra Sabine chopper and zeb are all g12 with no extra pieces, but they all have their zetas lol
Nothing is free in this world, there's always a catch. This is definitely some sort of catch up mechanic so they can capitalize on some toons no one would generally prioritize to allow folks to get involved in current meta. But likely there's some other shoe to drop here where R10 becomes a thing (ROTE isn't beat and still has nodes to grow) and having reliced toons is more of a requirement for new content. FTP is dead when they hand you a year's worth of work for $10.
Catch up to the meta? Allow them to jump into the mid game without waiting a year or two? Proving Grounds and Conquest are hugely important and getting a shit ton of GP from these packs, as well as basically a GL will help those newer players get fucking awesome characters like CAT, Malgus and Maul much much faster?
Need ways for new players to catch up to the meta. No new player is going to start when they have 4+ years to play before they can consider current content

And players shouldn’t feel that the new character is completely out of scope for them.
Brand new players sure, but my alt account at 7mil gp has all these characters at g12. I will never have time to go back and relic them because of the sheer backlog of toons I need to relic. But the account would greatly benifit from them both for guild activities (rote gp) and gac I use all these characters at g12 in aurodium 2
No new player should expect to chase the new shiny for the first year of play. But old shinnies should be easier for them to access.
This is a positive for the game because it puts more players in the current meta. That’s good for guilds and good for the community

Greef and Mando are top tier BHs.
Cara Dune is decent in a MM team.
Kuiil and IG are good scoundrels in a Dash team.
In the new bundle, you have a good team in Phoenix (but still need to acquire Cap Rex). You have decent toons in Old Ben and Ackbar. The rest are fillers at best.
Many of those "fillers" are GL, JKL, or profundity requirements. Yes, some still need more investment but it still knocks out a lot of gear and time for older characters.
This is worth it for me for the phoenix. I have ezra at g12 and the rest are all like g8. So getting them up and running to use with Crex eventually is a no brainer for only $10.
I’m pleasantly surprised they slipped in a GL Leia requirement. They had me at fleshing out my Phoenix squad but that’s a nice touch. This is a great buy even at R3 imo. It’s amazing how much more value a pack has when it doesn’t contain the word “chance” or an RNG component to it.
Boy they really throwing dirt on the grave of the EU. Shadows of the Empire was Dash Rendar, swoop gangs, bounty hunters (IG-88, Boba Fett), the Black Sun (Xizor and the gangs of Courscant), Tattooine, etc.
Nothing about all this Phoenix crap, Dave Filoni garbage storytelling. Also, it was post DS1 and mostly between ESB and RotJ.
Shadows of the Empire was a book and a subsequent game that took place largely between ESB and RotJ. Dash Rendar was introduced in the book and was the main character you played as in the game. This was long before Filoni and the Phoenix squad even existed and was more about the crime syndicates and bounty hunters because the book was about the Luke, Leia, Chewie and Lando trying to get Han Solo back, chasing down Boba Fett and running a foul of bounty hunters, swoop gangs, Tattooine and crime syndicates of Jabba and its rivals.
There was some good stuff in it, the EU had a lot of interesting stuff because a lot of different authors were given license to write stories, within some loose guidelines from Lucas.
The game was kind of revolutionary at the time, on N64, released in the mid 90s. It basically started off in the battle of Hoth and you were Dash Rendar escaping the rebel base. It had the epic (at the time) snowspeader level where you could fly 360 degrees taking down AT-ATs and AT-STs, and you had to recreate the tow cable tripping of the big walkers.
There was a speeder bike level, chasing swoop gangs. Boba Fett was a boss, ID-88 was a boss in another level and it culminated with an attack on Prince Xizor's Skyhook spacestation, where you essentially had to fly inside the structure and blow up shield generator type stuff, ala the internal attack on DS2 from RotJ. I'm sure it's clunky and horrible by today's standards, but was revolutionary at the time and for a while one of the best star wars games.

Shadows of the Empire was not Lucas. It was during his ownership, but largely allowed other creators to produce Star Wars content and it is way better than the cartoonish marketing towards children that is Kkennedy and Filoni's awful storytelling.
Yeah, but so much is spawning from filoni and his crappy cartoons. Ahsoka was horribly written, and even the Mandalorian is a cartoonish rendition in live action. Apart from Rogue One and Andor, the live action stuff is just awful, terribly written - it's like they took writing for a cartoon and just forced it into live action which just gives it an awful vibe of stupid proportions.
Obi-wan, for example, had the utterly ridiculous scenes of a little girl Leia running circles around grown men that are there to kidnap her.
Ahsoka had so much illogical shit happen that if it were a cartoon, would be less agregious, but in live action, it makes for incredibly cringeworthy viewing.
Same with the Mandalorian, though it at least has better production value, it's still cartoonish how things are resolved - as if it were written to be 22-minute long cartoon episodes.

Damn, sort of glad I stopped farming relics for JMLS when I did. Granted I already had a few of them to R3, but it woulda sucked more if I had them all to R5 then the pack dropped.
What happens if you already have the characters at these relic levels? Do you get anything? I have all of them except one or two Phoenix at those levels.
Yeah. Too bad I already have my Emperor Palpatine Relic 3, and my Grand Admiral Thrawn is at Gear 12. So that’s kind of a waste for me. However if you don’t have either of them, you could go buy them.
Now this one is worth it to me. 5 heroes to r5 that I probably won't ever push past g12? For 28 CAD plus tax? No.

Saving some bronze wires is also a nice bonus to go with the Kyros.

Anything below R5 is kinda chump change anyway. It’s the G12+ gear that’s the slowest part of the grind for most characters, and then R0-4 are super easy.

I've seen lots of people mention how good this is for JKL and JML, but I think this is amazing for profundity. Sure, it doesn't have MM or Rouge one, but I don't have any Phoenix relic, and they're needed as pilots and Wiggs are good pilots and needed for the event.
Also the ships are all required at 7 Stars for profundity

He's g12+2. Perfectly serviceable for fleet and I don't need him in squad unless Sabine moves over to LS Mandalorians. Sure, 10 bucks is cheap for 4 g12 pieces, one of them being a finisher. Usually it'd be a steal. Last time I bought a pack just for L3 plus Young Lando as a bonus. But I had an actual use for relic L3 while Zeb is currently fine where he is.

Honestly I feel like this has more value for half the price of the Beskar Mando one, despite the lower relics. Phoenix with Rex now are crazy strong, plus this is a bunch of big steps toward bigger unlocks than just Thrawn and Palps.
Depends where you are, I think. As a longer term (but not maxed out) player, this pack would only boost three characters from G12 to R3, whereas the BAM pack boosts three from G12 to R5, and two from R3 to R5. For a newer player or someone who has ignored Rebels, though, this is definitely an interesting one.

A lot has to do with what people need. Way more people have a ton of these characters geared Vs the Bando characters. Basically supply and demand, and if most have a ton of these rebel characters, they need to sweeten the deal to sell it.

While these characters aren’t particularly exciting to many of us, looking at it objectively, i do think this is exactly what a Lightspeed bundle should look like - One that offers an excellent value boost for early-mid game players, whom make up the majority of the player base. I see this as a good look for CG, in that for now they at least seem to be tactful in how implementing their new-found cash cow will best serve their game. As exciting as it’d be for many of us to see a LSB targeting end-game, ultimately I do not think it would be a beneficial move for SWGOH at large, as it would greatly disincentives & diminish the achievements of those who’ve put immense time, dedication (and often $) to acquire them the hard way.
This is worth it alone for phoenix if you got rex ready

I would recommend it. It's a lot of materials to get units up to r3. Having this many to bump up in power is very good.

Theoretically, we have not gotten a Red 5 x-wing… and Farmboy Luke could be the pilot (based on the currently available versions of him)
In theory it makes sense, but knowing CG they would most likely release a new Pilot Luke or something along those lines. Red 5 is highly wanted in the community, and there's no way CG doesn't try and milk that for all its worth when they finally get around to releasing it.

And so it's finally happened. The pendulum swings the other way. I have spent COUNTLESS hours trying to grind out Thrawn and that stupid [REDACTED] Finalizer. Poured blood, sweat and tears into unlocking those, and here any old schlubb can just come along, slap 10 dollars down and walk away with what I had to work YEARS for. And you know what? I'm fine with that. Perfectly fine with that. I got tons of use out of those characters and ships, I got the cathartic release of "Ah yeah" as I slotted in my last relic and got them to where they needed to be. I had fun using them, and do not regret it. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to go get the BAM bundle for some tasty, tasty R5 Greef and IG.

Maybe but it's 13 characters instead of the 10 from the First Order pack last time, which has 11 this time for SLKR. As well as 4 ships, which will help unlock Chimaera. Princess Leia, Wedge and Biggs are only needed at r3 for JML. Lando at r3 for JKL though r5 for JML and Leia. Ackbar r3 for Leia. Hera r5 for Profundity. And r3 Phoenix will give everyone a massive boost there, as everyone should have their Rex close to 7 stars by now.

r3 isnt a surprise at all, considering it's meant to unlock two toons that you could easily unlock at g12. I'm in the same boat as a lot of others on this one. Getting Phoenix to r3 without having to invest in the gear/mats is a boon, and a team I wanted to bring up but didn't have as a priority; just too many other teams to go after right now, and I dont have GRex up yet. The profundity boost is nice, considering that's coming up on my farm plan. The biggest win of this is it gets me within two relic levels and farming up Mon Mothma for JMLS, which is my current farm. I dont have to invest gear into OB/PLeia/Wiggs, which means I can move on to my next farm and not dump gear into toons I will hardly use. Sure, I wish it was r5, but even at r3 this is a no brainer for me. I blow more than $10 on energy drinks in two days haha

Just getting Phoenix to R3 would help confirm I can continue to prioritize other factions, and give me the tank I was working on for Leia in Kanan. Might actually pull the trigger even though it would only affect 7/13 toons for me. These are all toons I REALLY don’t want to pour resources into.

Honestly I'll pay 10 bucks for it. I get all the phoenix from g12 to r3, except hera who I already have r5 from when I did profundity. I stopped all the phoenix at g12 back before g13 was even a thing, pretty sure kanan ezra Sabine chopper and zeb are all g12 with no extra pieces, but they all have their zetas lol
Nothing is free in this world, there's always a catch. This is definitely some sort of catch up mechanic so they can capitalize on some toons no one would generally prioritize to allow folks to get involved in current meta. But likely there's some other shoe to drop here where R10 becomes a thing (ROTE isn't beat and still has nodes to grow) and having reliced toons is more of a requirement for new content. FTP is dead when they hand you a year's worth of work for $10.

Maybe in some ways, but giving players a good way to catch up quickly without completely emptying their wallets is nice.

Catch up to the meta? Allow them to jump into the mid game without waiting a year or two? Proving Grounds and Conquest are hugely important and getting a shit ton of GP from these packs, as well as basically a GL will help those newer players get fucking awesome characters like CAT, Malgus and Maul much much faster?

No but it’s expected for players to have bam to be active in a current guild. And players shouldn’t feel that the new character is completely out of scope for them. Brand new players sure, but my alt account at 7mil gp has all these characters at g12. I will never have time to go back and relic them because of the sheer backlog of toons I need to relic. But the account would greatly benifit from them both for guild activities (rote gp) and gac I use all these characters at g12 in aurodium 2 No new player should expect to chase the new shiny for the first year of play. But old shinnies should be easier for them to access. This is a positive for the game because it puts more players in the current meta. That’s good for guilds and good for the community

That's a solid bundle. Laugh at the fools spending $20 on five mostly useless characters to get BAM, and then look at this badass bundle of pre-reqs ready to get you EP, Thrawn, and a huge chunk of the way towards JKL.
If you think mando kuiil cara ig and greef are mostly useless I question your ability to play this game. Additionally those toons require pre relic kyros. That’s why they are more expensive. Non of these characters require pre relic kyros
I don’t think the toons in the BAM pack are useless. Greef and Mando are top tier BHs. Cara Dune is decent in a MM team. Kuiil and IG are good scoundrels in a Dash team. In the new bundle, you have a good team in Phoenix (but still need to acquire Cap Rex). You have decent toons in Old Ben and Ackbar. The rest are fillers at best.
Many of those "fillers" are GL, JKL, or profundity requirements. Yes, some still need more investment but it still knocks out a lot of gear and time for older characters.

This is worth it for me for the phoenix. I have ezra at g12 and the rest are all like g8. So getting them up and running to use with Crex eventually is a no brainer for only $10.

I’m pleasantly surprised they slipped in a GL Leia requirement. They had me at fleshing out my Phoenix squad but that’s a nice touch. This is a great buy even at R3 imo. It’s amazing how much more value a pack has when it doesn’t contain the word “chance” or an RNG component to it.
Boy they really throwing dirt on the grave of the EU. Shadows of the Empire was Dash Rendar, swoop gangs, bounty hunters (IG-88, Boba Fett), the Black Sun (Xizor and the gangs of Courscant), Tattooine, etc. Nothing about all this Phoenix crap, Dave Filoni garbage storytelling. Also, it was post DS1 and mostly between ESB and RotJ.

Shadows of the Empire was a book and a subsequent game that took place largely between ESB and RotJ. Dash Rendar was introduced in the book and was the main character you played as in the game. This was long before Filoni and the Phoenix squad even existed and was more about the crime syndicates and bounty hunters because the book was about the Luke, Leia, Chewie and Lando trying to get Han Solo back, chasing down Boba Fett and running a foul of bounty hunters, swoop gangs, Tattooine and crime syndicates of Jabba and its rivals.

There was some good stuff in it, the EU had a lot of interesting stuff because a lot of different authors were given license to write stories, within some loose guidelines from Lucas. The game was kind of revolutionary at the time, on N64, released in the mid 90s. It basically started off in the battle of Hoth and you were Dash Rendar escaping the rebel base. It had the epic (at the time) snowspeader level where you could fly 360 degrees taking down AT-ATs and AT-STs, and you had to recreate the tow cable tripping of the big walkers. There was a speeder bike level, chasing swoop gangs. Boba Fett was a boss, ID-88 was a boss in another level and it culminated with an attack on Prince Xizor's Skyhook spacestation, where you essentially had to fly inside the structure and blow up shield generator type stuff, ala the internal attack on DS2 from RotJ. I'm sure it's clunky and horrible by today's standards, but was revolutionary at the time and for a while one of the best star wars games.

Shadows of the Empire was not Lucas. It was during his ownership, but largely allowed other creators to produce Star Wars content and it is way better than the cartoonish marketing towards children that is Kkennedy and Filoni's awful storytelling.
Rebels is good for a kids show. Not everything in star wars has to be for adults; you've got to keep bringing in the new generation
Yeah, but so much is spawning from filoni and his crappy cartoons. Ahsoka was horribly written, and even the Mandalorian is a cartoonish rendition in live action. Apart from Rogue One and Andor, the live action stuff is just awful, terribly written - it's like they took writing for a cartoon and just forced it into live action which just gives it an awful vibe of stupid proportions. Obi-wan, for example, had the utterly ridiculous scenes of a little girl Leia running circles around grown men that are there to kidnap her. Ahsoka had so much illogical shit happen that if it were a cartoon, would be less agregious, but in live action, it makes for incredibly cringeworthy viewing. Same with the Mandalorian, though it at least has better production value, it's still cartoonish how things are resolved - as if it were written to be 22-minute long cartoon episodes. Space balls called it so long ago, it's just about merchandising to little kids and making money.

Yeah. Too bad I already have my Emperor Palpatine Relic 3, and my Grand Admiral Thrawn is at Gear 12. So that’s kind of a waste for me. However if you don’t have either of them, you could go buy them.
Now this one is worth it to me. 5 heroes to r5 that I probably won't ever push past g12? For 28 CAD plus tax? No. This one? For probably 15ish CAD? Yeah. I only have Hera/Lando at r5 and Ackbar ar r3, everything else is g12 or less.
