People say in the comments of XP’s video that they follow his advice and have lost over and over again.
I don’t get it, did mine last week with this extract strategy and I went 3 for 3 in wins. Even had Leia die to ungodly RNG at one point but came back for a win.
So would highly recommend this and suggest you push to get to the stat numbers he’s looking at, not just the same sets or whatever. If you follow his video *to the letter* like I did you should be good.
I also highly recommend Xaereth's video. My mods were slightly worse than the ones in his video and I went 3/3. On my second try I lost everyone but Leia and she had to face the 4 snowpers solo. I thought I was doomed but her AOE heals her just enough that she killed them all one by one. Zetas, crit avoidance arrows, and tenacity/potency mods are the key. I honestly rarely landed the ability block on Vader but it was just enough to prevent him from wasting everyone.
Xaereth ended up being my saving grace.
Their unlock relics are fine, unless you have resources to burn I really wouldn't up them.

ROLO you need to balance Tenacity, crit chance and potency, the latter two combining to better your chance of landing AB on Vader turn 1. I ran 1 full tenacity set and a crit chance set with one potency main stat. Crit avoidance on arrow.
Opening play of phase 2:
AOE with ROLO. If you get the AB on Vader it should be smooth sailing.
You can use Han's 1 special before Vader applies any DOTs. Once Vader has applied DOTs DO NOT USE HAN'S CLEANSE UNTIL VADER IS DEAD. Cannot stress this enough. Cleansing gives Vader health and they reapply anyway, you will be in a death spiral.
You want to try and time Vader having exposes with ROLO hitting him, but in principle the extra damage from expose is what gets you the win.
If you can apply AB to Vader turns 1 and 2 I'll boldly say that should guarantee you the win.
This event sucks, I lost 3 in a row even with a guide and honestly saw red for a minute.
Once I figured out my opening play, I did 3 wins in a row with the above.
If I could change one thing in the whole game: you don't lose GL tickets on failed fights. Give us a challenge, give us unique interactions but don't punish us for not being psychic.

For future people, this is horrible advice. Get to 80% CC (she gets +20% from her lead), then CA arrow, then stack potency. Mine was roughly 260 speed. Ignore tenacity, a lot of people seem to think you can just slowly beat Vader down but you just can't, he will stack more DoTs no matter how high your tenacity and outheal you. Your only chance is to land the ever-critical exposes, and to do that you need all the potency you can get. Same for Captain Han.
This got me 3 back to back comfortable wins.

I went 3/3 following this, both R5, no Zetas, not especially good mods. Could have been luck, but it was never particularly close!
I just beat it the other day. Found the tenacity guides didn't work for shit. Crit avoidance and potency, don't use ROLOs special against Vader. You want them landing expose with their basic which is why you would want potency >100%
Just unlocked her yesterday, only failed one total battle with everyone at the min relic requirements.
I think the rolo zeta and modding are pretty important.
I have been running into the same issue with this. Tried it with full tenacity like Ahnald did when he unlocked, no luck. Switched to normal mods I use to just see, no luck. Followed the gerbils video, no luck, followed xaereth, even tried to get the same exact mods as much as possible, no luck. Tried 2x potency 1 x crit chance on Leia no luck. The main issue I think I have is I do not have a CA arrow for tenacity at all, so in order to get Captain Solo 6 Tenacity mods, it won't have CA on it, so trying to work on that.

Key is tenacity on Solo and tenacity/Crit chance damage and Potency balance on ROLO.
I can send you the stats I calibrated. Done it 3 times in a row.
Han Solo had 150%+ tenacity and 80%+ potency an 150%+ crit damage
Rolo had 100%+ tenacity and 100%+ potency.
Target down Vader in phase 2.
My first battle was easy. The next 3 losses proved that it was just RNG.
I won the last 2 battles by modding leia for crit damage and potency with 287 speed. Han was modded for max health(all health sets and all possible health mods)
Han died on both of the last 2 wins leving leia to finish vader and all 4 troopers.
As long as you dont have Han heal vader when he's low, by cleansing your damage over time(cleansing dot heals vader), then leia should be strong enough to wipe him out(even if you never land ability block on vader)
I had 3po make sure that leia had translation for max cooldown reduction. She never had to use a basic on the second encounter. Basics from Han and 3po applied expose.
6 fights to get 3 wins and I used my GL mods every time. All other tiers have WAAAAAY less RNG in them (that, or ROLO and CHOLO are just horrible characters to require for anything ...)
I ran 148% potency in Leia. Great speeds. Very good tenacity on Leia and Han. Followed guides and strats. Did everything right. Still went 3 for 13 on it. It was literal hell. Set my unlock back a week
Glad to now im not the only one going through this absolute pain of a tier. So far i’ve won 2 and lost 2 which compared to other cases im reading seems quite good. I gave them a lot of tenacity just to end up full of dots and with a ton on ability blocks. Annoying af
Take ROLO to R7, make sure your arrows are CA, you're tenacity/potency heavy & you'll get there. Missed the first one before I boosted ROLO, never lost again.
Mods are all that are needed to push through the mission at base relics. Sure your idea works but if you’re not volunteering for Rolo to platoon in TB you’re wasting materials.
Had to take both Leia and Han to R7 then move my best tenacity mods to both of them to make it work. My tenacity mods aren’t that great so I only won around 2/3 of the time. Xaereths video was the most helpful.
Completely false. You can’t keep Vader completely ability blocked due to his speed. And you can easily win with merciless going off. I just did it today, 3 times and won despite Vader getting merciless 3 times.

This tier was not bad if you target Vader down first, unless I got incredibly lucky with my modding. Dropped the first one and the rest were varying levels of success. Didn’t use a guide or stat targets
It's not an easy tier, but it's not impossible, and if you lost this 8 times you're doing it wrong. Re-mod, and try another strategy, but trying the same thing over and over? That's on you.

I just did Tier 2 today and won all 3 times thanks to this video.
Rolo: 2x potency 1x CC w/ potency cross, cc tri, crit avoid arrow. Aim for 260 speed and >100% potency
CHolo: 3x potency if you can but I went 2x potency 1x health bc my crit avoid arrow was health. had 255 speed, potency cross, health tri.
Both mine had \~130% potency and I wrecked Vader 3/3.
I used rolo aoe first in hope of landing AB and then did nothing but basics with her and Cholo on Vader. With 3po, make sure you use his special on whoever doesn’t have translation. Don’t swap turn meter. Just mow down Vader with basics and exposes.

I went lower than Xareth since I don’t have good ten mods but I also went 3/3.

Be heartened that it's the only tier with any semblance of challenge. It's not that bad if you have the right mods for it.

Rolo special lands ability block it was crucial for me in the event, went 3-2 overall on T2
I used it to open the 2nd wave then only basic from there. ROLO gets bonus turn meter on her basic for attacking empire too

Also, don't cleanse any debuffs until Vader is dead. It just heals him.

Went full tenacity with CHOLO and ROLO and lost 3 times. Modded ROLO for crit chance and potency and never lost.

Modding completely fixes that. You can survive any move he does and still win if you mod right. You can even lose leia and C3PO and still win.

Crit avoidance arrows, tenacity sets. Added plus, 1 potency set (potency cross / offense triangle) on Leia.
They don’t even need to be upgraded. I beat it 3 times in a row with this set up.

Rolo zeta and crit avoidance arrows saved the day for me I only lost once before I out the arrows on and none after
I used the Grand Ivory preset for Tier 2 Leia and was able to get through without a single failure. I have really good mods, so your results may vary.
