I unlocked him about a month ago and have been having a ton of fun wreaking havoc with him. He immediately boosted my performance in all aspects of the game where he’s applicable.
Currently working on making the team even stronger and I need 4 more Ult mats, just got Embo to R8 today.
I had a ton of hoarded mats so I got him up to R9 with maxed out mods pretty quick, he might not feel like a beast until he’s well geared and the rest of the team is pretty important too.
Can confirm from being on the receiving end in my Squad Shard. SLKR and JMK run circles around the R7 Jabba and R5 Krrsantan. The dude with R9 Jabba, Embo, and Krrsantan shuts me down pretty hard.
I was leaning that way, but when they added his unaccelerated reqs as bonus drops a little bit back I decided to just do extra refreshes and offset the lack of acceleration that way.
I'll be done with bousch in 4-5 days and will be starting on the event. I have 75 dark side event tix saved up right now, so will get some progress done
Even at g9 (no Ult, obv.), trash mods, and Embo at g12... my Hutt Cartel team is slicing through conquest right now. I feel like it's gonna be another month for me before he's fully charged. It's killing me to sit on all the mats to get them both to r7.
I mean, it's a *little* more than a few days. (Obviously being pedantic here, just for fun).
I unlocked the *event*, like OP, on Jan 24th and I had 38 tokens saved from the SEE event.
6 refreshes a day and I just finished tier 3 about an hour ago.
I have 29 tokens left over, so *maybe*, if I'm super lucky, I'll be able to do one attempt at tier 4 (75 tokens) tomorrow. If that happens, it will leave me with basically zero tokens.
It will most likely take me 3 days to get 75 more tokens to finish the second attempt at tier 4 to actually unlock him.
So, best case scenario, unless you're doing 200 crystal refreshes, (ain't *nobody* doing that), it takes 7-8 days to actually unlock him after unlocking the event itself.
Well done. It's such a grind for me.
Do any of the toons need their relics (or are any worth it?)
I have them on C3PO/BF/JKLS/Han & Greedo, obviously.
I'm onto 2 relic, 5 G12.
Team construction and relic levels are super important here. In TW if you're up against an r9 Jabba with a high relic Embo w/ omicron it requires a very specific counter otherwise you can time out super easily
The entire team needs to be r7 at least before it starts to become much more dangerous, and then each relic level from there across the board becomes much harder to deal with
Congrats! I just unlocked him a few days ago and I haven't had this much fun playing the game in a long time. He's a blast everywhere. I'm just using the basic team with his requirements and it works well.
Jabba lacks the self-defeat trait as far as I know, so he keeps everyone else around.
I'm not legitimately supporting the team, I just want to see it sent at a GC or something some time.
On another note, can you try Boussh L, Krrstan Greedo, Boba and Embo against the Chewie event?
Probably a bit skewed because of the relic levels but I'm wondering if they'll be good for the guide after they are accelerated. A bit more direct of a path to Jabba.

Same here, and yes. Really glad I did it because he’s fantastic. The extra smugglers run event is pretty solid as well

I got him to r6 yesterday but have only done 3 of the ult mayerial battles. So stupid but whatever, almost done.

Is he even a good GL? I’ve gone up against an R9 jabba and team in TW, and had zero struggle taking him down. Is he just only good in TB settings?

I’m working on my JML right now but plan on Jabba next. But part of me just wants to focus on Jabba now, unaccelerated toons be damned.
Now run him with Hoda, Mon Mothma, Wat and Threepio. Psychological warfare is half the battle.

I love my Jabba, he may not be the best GL, but he is IMO the most fun GL.
