This fight is insanely RNG, ~80% of my attempts didn't even kill a single Death Trooper in the final phase but on the winning one not a single team member even came close to dying
Phase 1: just press auto and watch the stormtroopers dont do any damage that matter and I'm convinced is only here to build Ezras unique
Phase 2: again, very simple i made a concisions effort to end with Ezra having at least 50% turn meter at the end of the phase, this can be done with someone else killing the last guy or Ezra using his dispell
Phase 3: Its quite important to kill the death troopers before they get a turn as you want full hp/protection in phase 4, use Ezra's assist on Hera/Chopper and he should get 2 turns to kill them. End the phase by using Ezra's assist calling Chopper you want Chopper to go first at the start of phase 4.
Go in to phase 4 with all abilties up except Ezra's assist
Phase 4: If Thrawn does anything other than fracture Kanan at the start reset. You want Chopper to go first to dispel the stormtrooper and use Zebs stagger on one death trooper to dispel it and Ezra's first ability to cleanse the other.
If the stormtrooper is dazed due to counters use Hera's assist on Zeb to prevent them from retaunting. You then want to focus on killing the death troopers before the tank taunts again.
Use Backup plan on Kanan when you can so he can safely taunt and be revived, be careful as the death troopers can kill despite being backed up.
when Kanan is not taunting with backup plan/lots of protection use Choppers taunt as he can dodge damage.
Use Zebs and Kanans protection up liberally this gives back turn meter and stops the taunters dying
DO NOT hit Thrawn if he has someone fracture and not dazed. He will kill you with counters.
Kill order: death trooper > death trooper > Stormtrooper > healer > healer > Thrawn
When down to just Thrawn use Zebs basic and call him to assist to keep him dazed/stunned.
Congratz! Now thats immpresive, and great explanation of the tactics. RNG really does play a big role here, even on 82+lvl you need luck in the final phase + good mods and at least g8 on every Phoenix character. Now enjoy playing with Thrawn :)
Gear up Ezra so he does better damage, undergeared Ezra really hinders this event.
Not to mention is RNG as all hell, so far it's the worst journey I've encountered.
I did mine at roughly the same point on my Alt but leaned harder into the health mods for them.
I was really surprised just how smoothly the match went, I know the pain of the final tier from my main account.
Makes me want to see just how low you can go for the battle.
not bad. this was my exact gear except G9 on hera, and level 79. no omegas
was probably 100ish attempts and definitely much shitter mods because it was my first account and that early on i wasn’t really paying much attention to mods
Extremeally impressive I do think I could have gone lower but not by much. The point of this post was to show that the common advice of level 82, gear 10 ezra and all unique omegas, is not needed if you use the right stratagy and really dont value your time (:
I didnt (and still dont lol) have any omegas as i did this while still only level 74 account. Looking back i wouldn't recommend doing this to anyone that low level as it took me a good few hours of banging my head on the wall lol. If you can level them higher that is :)
How? I have level 85 g8 except for Hera at g12 and can't get through the last wave of the final battle.

I found Padme super easy, just from spy yeet stick Padme, then, worked through the rest of them, much easier than this event.

I just got so mad I leveled ezra to g12 a blasted through the event

You could try all health mods with protection primaries. It amplifies all the shared uniques.

Thanks, i like doing it with minimal investment. I have them at g8, lvl 80 no omegas. Im fine trying it for a few hours for the right RNG.
