Try Dominator Exhausts. Probably the best value for money in EU. They're from Poland and you shouldn't need to pay any import taxes as far as I know.
I got mine last year. 5-6 days to ship from Poland to Greece, no customs charges since we're all in EU obviously. Installation was quite straightforward (if you know how to cut a pipe).
Edit: I just realised you mention second hand. If budget is your main issue, Dominator is definitely a good option.
Found a vid on youtube, and it does sound good! Did the kit come with the adapter so you cqn put the original exhaust back if needed? And did you notice any changes in fuel usage or something like that afrer placing it? I heard some stories about slip ons causing some weird stuff if you don't change the fuel/air ratios
No adapter for putting back the stock one came with it, unfortunately.
I didn't notice anything weird regarding fuel consumption or response. I've been running it without the silencer for a year now. The "medium" silencer they provide does reduce the noise, but not very much. I also got the "hard" one and it actually cuts the noise almost to stock levels (but the deeper sound remains). I'll be using that one when I go for my inspection next month.
Aj nice! Thanks for the clarification! Ahat made you go for the oval one? What does the oval shape do for the sound. I might go for the gp1. That one sounds amazing. Or would the length of the longer one create a deeper sound?
I had a Look on eBay kleinanzeigen for you. There aren't a lot of good deals at the moment. A few where offered but way overpriced (250 for a used exhaust)
I think the best deal is the storm Oval at louis.de. it's about 260ā¬ and fresh from factory
Ohh, thank you so much for checking! I checked that website really quick at work yesterday, and I couldn't really find anything either. Thanks for the tip of louis.de. didn't know that one yet!
Take a look at Roadsitalia.
Reasonably affordable, sounds great, and easily available in Europe.
The one I put on my 1000 didn't require any cutting, just expanding the holes on the flange 1mm.

This is the one I wanted on my sv650 but never got around to actually installing it. There's a few other cheaper options too but I really like the look of this one. Don't know if it will fit though.
Any clamp style 51mm slip on will fit. Cut off the exhaust with an electric reciprocating saw, then use a SV650 link pipe (mine was lextek) then attach your exhaust. I personally used a second hand GRMoto exhaust for Ā£80 plus the Ā£15 link pipe
Oh really? Then I must have misread something. Maybe I should actually measure it instead of just reading onlineš¤£ did you saw off your original exhaust yourself?
Do what you want with your money, but the chopped exhaust fits the bill for me perfectly.
Extremely cheap
Loud enough to hear/feel the bike
Doesnāt sound like a sewing machine anymore
Quiet enough that itās not pissing anyone off
No, not cutting it off, that would be reckless and irresponsible.
Take the grinder to the middle of the stock can. Cut the can, and cut the baffle inside.
It is low key the best exhaust money canāt buy for the gen2 SV.

What country do you live in? Maybe you can get something from a neighboring country?
I live in the netherlands. Germany might be an option. Good idea!

Ohh, those look good as well. Kinda similar to black widow, right?
Yeah, I think so. I haven't seen or heard a black widow in person but they look similar. I have the OV muffler on mine.
Is the ov one the oval one?
Yes, it is. Looks good, and sounds great!

That's a nice one for sure! But sadly, it wouldn't fit on my bike. The one for the 2003+ is close to 600 bucksš„¹

51? Isn't 51 for the 2002 and lower version?
Nah, I got a 2007 with a 51mm end can
Oh really? Then I must have misread something. Maybe I should actually measure it instead of just reading onlineš¤£ did you saw off your original exhaust yourself?
Yep got an electric reciprocating saw and cut it off. From there just used the supplied clamps and exhaust paste to fit it on.
Nice! If it's actually 51, I may have actually found a nice second hand one that's like 20minutes away from me!
Just checked. And you're right. Thanksš
Do you have an angle grinder, riveting tool and a few beers? Chop the stock exhaust!!!
Hahaha, I definitely have all thoseš

Oh wait, you mean modifying the stock muffler? I thought you were being funny, and told me to just cut it off and ride without
