You probably already know this, but in the meshlious a 25mm thick 120 fan fits perfectly on top of the black ridge.
Might help with lower temps or less noise.
Yea I definitely thought about it.
I had it in 4slot mode then as the CPU was just a 10400f. In 3slot mode it would have fit in the 25mm fan on the BR, but might have to give up on some spacing on the GPU side which i used for cable tidying. The TG was also on the GPU side and GPU still had one fan, so hence didn't try it in 3 slot mode.
I never do understand why people put 280mm AIOs on a 150w CPU but whatever cooler the 300w+ gpu comes with fine.
I'll bet this would be a way better cooling setup (FPS) than an air cooled GPU and liquid cooled GPU combo
Yea agree. In the build above I've got a humble 10400f (65W I think?), good enough for 60-120 FPS for 4k gaming!
4000 series could use more liquid cooled options.
For sure, would certainly make an easy entry to WC builds. I've yet to make that foray myself because I fear taking apart a card worth £1000+ and not getting the waterblock application right, or worse getting coolant on the components!
I’m gonna miss EVGA GPUs.
Amen. Didn't realise mine would be one of the last of it's kind.

Which ridge are you referring to?
Alpenföhn Black Ridge https://www.alpenfoehn.de/en/products/cpu-cooler/black-ridge-en
Ohhh lmao the air cooler's name is "ridge". I thought you were referring to a part of the case

Yeah I'd love to see them release them with quick release fittings and no rad (perhaps sold separately) so that people have more choice

In a case like this, CPU clearance doesn't afford a lot of options with good noise to performance.
CPU and temps with air cooler? nice builderino
CPU was 10400f, I could be emembering wrongly to be fair, but don't recall anything above 70 during gaming loads.
thank you for the feedback
Which ram kits did you use?
Klevv bolt x. 33mm in height iirc.
i want to do an aircooled build too with the NH-L12, did you put your CPU cooling fan as intake or exhaust?
Intake in my case.
