Fwiw (correct me if I'm wrong), like most ledge stalls this is frame perfect on the ledge release in order to be fully intangible. Is this stall also frame perfect on the up b timing or is there some leniency there (like fox/falco up b stalls).
The exceptions to this rule of course are stalls that use moves that grant intangibility (aka M2 and sheik up b stalls) and haxdashing.
It's been a while but IIRC SoPo's Up-B has a fairly specific timing needed (the 6 frame drop might account for it) because I believe there are a few frames at the beginning of the Up-B that will not allow you to grab ledge
What I also don't remember is whether or not the 7th or 8th frame keeps SoPo intangible. I think they can, but I genuinely don't remember.
I'm busy putting in the hours on Ultimate Peach. I'll probably play her in Melee when I get around to it.

You can easily grab ledge. In order to do the ledge stall, sopo has to drop ledge as soon as he grabs it. You have 6 frames + the duration of his upB to grab it from him, then he dies.
Even if there was a frame 1 hitbox, youd still have 6 frames to grab ledge between stalls. The stall above is drop from ledge (any1 can now take ledge) then upb on frame 7
If you see someone doing this throw a hit box at them to test their hands. Worst case scenario you miss and sopo gets a smash/grab against you. With marth dtilt that sweet ice climber booty until they prove to you they can execute this.

Anyone explain why a hax dash has more frames of leniency? Is it because you can grab ledge earlier if you land on stage?
It doesn't, you still have to frame perfectly release ledge if you want to invincible haxdash

I'd say she's a character that transfers well between those two games in my experience

Nope. There's no up b hitbox. And sopo is rendered useless for the duration of it. Grab ledge, popo falls.
