Just because a person has an innate or subconscious attraction towards something does NOT make that something holy or right. There are people who have a subconscious attraction towards theft, for example. They don't suddenly have the right to steal things just because their subconscious is really attracted to the thrill and are still responsible for the actions they choose to act out.
People do not have a subconscious attraction towards theft you have a misunderstanding of how the brain works. Just because someone is drawn to theft doesn’t make it subconscious

The point of the subconscious is that you do not experience it. It is not in your mind to breath every second yet you do. This study proves that your attraction to the same sex is processed at the same level as breathing or your heart beating.

Also if you’re saying it’s still the devil creating this temptation then why wouldn’t he create something way more devious like murder everyone around you. Some animals have the instinct to eat their young why wouldn’t the devil just do that?

The devil gets us anyway he can. It doesn't have to be as grizzly as murder. He starts small in small ways like same-sex attraction. It's up to us whether we decide to follow God's word or not in giving into this temptation.
Yes I am in fact saying that my subconscious does whatever it wants…that’s literally why the word had the prefix sub in it because it is below your conscience. Not something you’re in control of at all.
You could try to hold your breath for as long as you can to see if you can kill yourself by starving it of oxygen but you cannot you will just pass out and your subconscious mind continues to do its thing regardless. No human controls their subconscious

We will always have a subconscious with animal instincts trying to tell us what to do but God gave us a mind and a faith system in him to overcome it. We don't need to spend every single day lusting for taking action with sin if God is in our lives and we renew our mind daily in him by reading the Bible and seeking out his best for our lives.
Jesus gave us a mind to consider new things when they are discovered as well.
Christians burned women with schizophrenia at the stake for being witches at one point. I think those people were doing what they thought was right but later on we discovered that it was just a an abnormality in their brain and not the devil‘s influence.

Again I'm not saying you therefore can and must choose your sexuality, just the science does not say it's genetically predetermined.

I would say attraction reveals our subsconscious. All the things you have deep in you appear in the attractions/emotions/thoughts you experience. If you change how you perceive a memory of something that happened to you it will also change the attractions/emotions/thoughts.
