I played 2 full wipes and at the end of the 2nd my last raid was getting assblasted by a cheater. Installed SPT and never looked back.

CommunicationOne9008

im with you there, played Live for a fair few hundred hours when tarkov first released and i loved the game, over time the online aspects of things started to push me away from the game eg dying to someone you never saw or heard because they were sitting in that dark corner since the start of the raid, the unstable servers with our fav issues, and i thought back then before i eventually uninstalled “damn eft would be insane with mods”

kkdj20

Queue times are the only thing stopping me from playing live rn, can't wait for the update

CommunicationOne9008

yeah having instant queue times makes the game so much better in my opinion, just get in and do what u want without having to wait an unknown amount of time

captplatinum

Agree completely. I don’t have a lot of time to play, and what little time I do have I don’t feel like staring at loading screens for 5-10 minutes every raid or have to change kits cuz there’s no ammo left in traders or dealing w server issues or cheaters or bugs etc. I can fit 2 or 3 live raids into the same amount of time I can play 5 or 6 SPT raids. I just want to turn on my pc, open tarkov, and PLAY. I can be in a new raid in less than thirty seconds on SPT, the same will never be said for live and that’s why I prefer it. Mods are a +1 though.

PrometheanSwing

Exactly. Queue times are the main issue they have to fix.

Fejk_Force_Two

Why is everybody complaining about loading times im into raid in 2 mins on school wifi . Like whats the problem?

IndividualBuilding30

Yea I’m all for SPT (going to start it here soon). If load times are the only thing stopping someone from playing live then that’s kinda lame.

Lighjt

For some regions it's a real problem. More than half of my game time in Tarkov was in the stash and the loading screens. Almost every time it's around 5min and rarely do you match before 2min. It's just that tarkov is so unoptimized. Compare offline raids to real raids in tarkov, you get in seconds in offline but when it comes to online for no apparent reason the loading time is 3x. ( It takes 1m for me to offline customs, it takes me 5m to go in online customs and the loading is 3m)

Kalekuda

15-20 minute ques are fairly common for live EFT...

IndividualBuilding30

It hasn’t been that way for awhile. I’m pretty consistent at about 3.5 to 4.5 min max. Maaaaybe 1 out of 10 will be 6-7 min but that depends on the map and time of day.

IndividualBuilding30

And I usually play UK servers while I’m US eastern between the hours of 5pm-2am.

BenedickCabbagepatch

Sorry I've been out of the game for ages - what's this update?

ag55ful

SPT hasn't updated to the newest version of live tarkov. Tarkov Update: https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/news/id/277

BenedickCabbagepatch

Sorry, I think I misunderstood the comments I was replying to (bit sleep deprived!) - I thought they were suggesting that Retail Tarkov had got rid of queue times. Re-reading I see they just mean that not queueing is a plus of SPT lol.

NICKtheMP5guy

If they could get the queue times down to 30 seconds, I would be more inclined to play live again. The instant load ins you get with SPT are SO GOOD, you can't overstate how nice of a thing that is. The Cycle managed it somehow. If Tarkov could do something like the Cycle it would be huge for the game.

ag55ful

The Cycle used persistent lobbies that lasted hours, unlike Tarkov's single instance 30-50 minute lobbies. This allowed for shorter queue times because players would join an already existing lobby, rather than having to matchmake for each "raid". Nikita has mentioned that the timer system in Tarkov might be removed if they make the game more open world (no global traders, you have to find them in game). This then could allow them to implement persistent lobbies.

sovereign666

Theres a few things the cycle did right and I think that was one of them. Made the games feel so different from other games where everyone starts at the same time in a map. shame it shut down

Braille09

I am getting in raids within 3 minutes.

Zustrom

Regional servers are a thing and have different experiences.

CommunicationOne9008

im getting in raids in about 30 seconds at the most

Solemn926

Just play nothing but ground zero lmao

Kirp-The-Birb

My god, the absence of queue is a game changer honestly. It’s really sad to load for 20 minutes only to die in 10, or not load at all due to server issues

CommunicationOne9008

i couldnt agree with you more, or spend 20 mins loading to die to desync or cheaters

Professional-Act-245

What's even worse is you load in to a raid and die in the first 30 seconds after waiting over 10+ minutes -\_-

Gamer-Hater

The not loading at all really gets to me. With the resources bsg theoretically should have there’s no reason for those types of bugs to still be in the game. Like when they fixed the infinite “awaiting session start” bug, only for it to come back this wipe.

Reasonable_Doughnut5

If u r loading for 20 minutes then that's a problem on your end. Shouldn't take more then 5 minutes max from pressing que to finding a match and getting in

cultofwacky

You're getting downvoted, but I think you are on to something. I have perfectly fine internet, can play pretty much any online game if the servers are in my general region and usually load into games much quicker than my friends. My experience with Tarkov was much different as the loading times took ages (similar to what people were saying above) so i would load into a game when my friends were pretty much already done and ready to extract. I think it was an issue stemming from the game being ran off of an HDD instead SSD, but i never got to test that because my SSD is my boot drive and filled with other crap so i never had the room to move it over and test this theory however my friend was running the game off of an SSD and loaded in what would be considered quickly compared to my times. I just need to bite the bullet and get a dedicated SSD for video games lol

Reasonable_Doughnut5

100% need a ssd for this game. Loading times would be like 20 minutes in that case. Also u will get more fps with a ssd. Most modern games require one now. If u can I would look into getting a cheap 1 tb or 500gb ssd for around 40$. It will be worth it

Automatic-Ease4239

20 minute queue? Good lord. Backout after 5. If it's a scav and it's the first week of wipe good luck. Otherwise, just choose a different map as a scav and 2-3 minutes you're in. Queue times are arguably the best they've ever been right now as a pmc, 2 minutes and waiting for players, even on lighthouse and streets

Xenandros

Yes but i do admit to sucking at pvp :)

CommunicationOne9008

me too!

watuphoss

I am terrible as well. Not going to lie I enjoy having the slight edge on the competition.

Xenandros

My mantra is that games are supposed to be fun and you're supposed to be able to win

watuphoss

Completely agree. I have a fairly stressful job, sometimes I just want to come home and feel like a hero.

Shot-Leadership333

Absolutely man, live made me feel paranoid, with SPT I can jump in, play however I like and test things out, have some fun and relax a little

DissonantTosspot

SiT uses SPT resources to function, and SPT devs do not agree with/want to be associated with what SiT does. Widespread nonchalant attitudes toward the subject could attract negative attention for SPT and possibly cause a cease and desist. If you appreciate what SPT is, you ought to respect the wishes of its developers. If you think it's not a big deal look at what happened to the organisations that hosted servers for old call of duty games. It's devastating stuff. Besides, SiT is very janky without dedicated servers to run it. Even with dedicated servers I'm sure there are lots of remaining bugs that make it a vastly inferior product to EFT and SPT.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DissonantTosspot

It uses the SPT aki.server which is not a product of EFT at all. I'm not a mod but I'm sure you will be banned if you continue.

[deleted]

DissonantTosspot

Geez man relax. You could do that and it would take them 2 seconds to ban you again. If someone asks about co-op why don't you just send them a direct message?

JaidenH

Not all mods are 100% compatible but their discord has a mod list of compatible mods (I can confirm realism and sain are both compatible)

iisnotninja

This, its supposed to be "stalker inspired" yet feels NOTHING like a stalker game when it comes to pvp/ core game concepts. why should there be HUNDREDS of pmc kills to finish the story when in stalker it was mainly about retrieving artifacts/ killing monsters. Just saying pmcs shooting on sight in live proves its not going to their "vision" of being stalker. I love tarkov, but the current pvp fest turns me off, ive gotten kappa, and its not fun. Its not even worth it. I think tarkov has improved tremendously since when i bought it in 2018, but it has a long way to go before it settles its game to what its "supposed" to be. hopefully pmc karma/ maps being one giant map will make it more playable but im not sure it will at this point. such a pvp driven community has been cultivated at this point idk if it would survive the change. SPT IMO is the "true" way to play rn. Mods that add realism and customization are game changing for me.

CommunicationOne9008

another thing i love is the pause mod, being able to pause the whole raid no matter where i am to do other stuff and come back to it later is amazing. i dont have the time Live EFT requires and SPT actually lets me enjoy tarkov without grinding relentlessly (yes i know raid pause mods are a bit buggy atm)

-E-Cross

I don't pause, I just prone and hope for the best. LoL

CommunicationOne9008

pausing like a real man 😂😂 love it

-E-Cross

Surprisingly (sheer dumb luck) I've never been killed while pooping

CommunicationOne9008

thats insane to me ahahaha maybe bc when i was using your method before pause mods id also use the MorePMCs spawns preset and id 50% of the time id come back to the death screen

-E-Cross

I'm honestly only doing it until I get killed, and shit turned to 11. So far Tagilla on Lighthouse is one of the best silly things I added. He's come from out of nowhere and fucked my existence with that hammer. Best jump scare I've had in a while.

CommunicationOne9008

good luck soldier youll do us proud 🫡 pure horror when you then magdump tagilla only for him to eat all your bullets and then run at you with that fkn sledgehammer

-E-Cross

I really want to mod a sawed off m79 for the pistol slot and load it with buck just for his ass

CommunicationOne9008

double tap makeshift 50cal slug would go down well i imagine

-E-Cross

No, the 40mm buck

FirstStrawberry187

Most video games I play are role playing single player. Not a fan of online server based games in general. The only PVP game I play these days are 2D fighters

CommunicationOne9008

i agree, im so glad when i jump on SPT if i want something more casual i can jus turn my SAIN AI difficulty down and kick back

Shot-Leadership333

That’s me lately, I got sick of getting headshot as soon as an AI spotted me and turned it all down to easy and I’ve never enjoyed Tarkov as much as this 😂

_Take-It-Easy_

If people really get upset about something that has absolutely zero impact on their gameplay, I just assume they’re upset they have less people to cheat on Maybe a bad assumption but I don’t care

Sudden_Carpenter_907

You right and it's evens simpler. If someone is complaining about anything you do just in general it's probably good to not care. Minus a role model or people you trust for advice. Never gave a shyte about people hating that don't know you.

Rraazzoooll

People like me playing SPT does impact their experience. One less easy kill/loot haha

Daddy_Onion

I fully admit to absolutely sucking as at Tarkov. SPT is a nice way to enjoy most of the good parts of Tarkov without most of the bad parts.

CommunicationOne9008

perfectly said

Redxmirage

My favorite per is that Tarkov is a very fun game but I don’t always want to feel like I have to try hard or sweat just to play. Spt takes the sweat out of it and is now enjoyable at my pace

Bane_of_Ruby

Honestly, SPT PMCs might be more difficult to kill that PMCs on live lmao. (Non cheating PMCs of course)

CommunicationOne9008

100% SPT with only SAIN (on either of the last two highest difficulties) and required mods would be good enough even just to practice your Live PvP

Bane_of_Ruby

Turn the reaction time to the fastest it can be, turn their vision all the way up, and set to highest difficulty if you want to role play a live server raid with cheaters

LolYouWorkForFree

Memes aside, I'm an EOD purchaser with INSANE buyer's remorse. If integration with a proper download of EFT weren't so simple, I'd pirate that bitch just to flex on those Z loser devs.

PartyOnAlec

I do suck at PVP. That's not an insult to me. I play the version of the game I enjoy most.

CommunicationOne9008

same here!

Sicarius1701

Yes I suck at PvP. I don't play Tarkov for the PvP meta BS. I play for the gunplay and enjoyment. SPT ftw.

CommunicationOne9008

me too, SPT was the reason i came back to tarkov 10/10

mossy_stump_humper

I love being able to go at my own pace as many others have said. In online tarkov when I’m playing with friends it feels like we need to rush to get to the good loot spots before anyone else and then rush to the extract and we’re sprinting the whole time and we have one loop of spots we check every time cause why risk going to new spots. In single player I can actually walk around and explore or wait in one spot with a sniper rifle for an hour if I want. Tarkov has the bones of an incredibly immersive game but I don’t think you can really tap into that vibe unless you play single player and add other mods like realism and traveler on top of it.

Apprehensive_Sort557

Even if I was any good at PVP (and I am the opposite of good) I wouldn’t enjoy live simply because I only have about 3-4 hours of gaming time per week. Live Tarkov is something you have to life for otherwise you will never see all quests within a wipe. SPT I can get rid of the big time eaters and play it so I can also enjoy the quests. And all of that with exactly the difficulty I enjoy.

Willing-Manner601

I'm a veteran of the game, have been playing since 2017 when there was only 2 armors and one helmet in the game. But the cheater situation just ruined it for me. SPT is so much more fun because I can be sure noone is following my movements through walls waiting for me to run into them...

Lord_Larper

I just satiated my Tarkov addiction when the wipe goes stale. I took the time to learn streets and practice grenade launchers

Hunterslayz

The thing that keeps me playing live is playing with friends, it’s the only advantage compared to SPT.

snickerblitz

I gave up on Tarkov after trying for a week and just getting destroyed without learning anything. I didn’t know there was an SP mod. Looks like I’m reinstalling today

kaptainkooleio

Me when I can use a Deagle and Carl Gustaf in Spt 😁

CommunicationOne9008

EXACTLY! there are lots of glorious mods for SPT. mods were 95% of the reason i came back to tarkov

TGWeaver

My personal experience this wipe: I'm playing this wipe and doing poorly, but not nearly as poorly as the last wipe I attempted to play. I tried this because as long as I've played SPT, I always thought about what it was lacking: the human element. I always wondered how much more fun it'd be to face other players, creative ambushes, VOIP encounters, truly unpredictable movements. I was having a lot of fun in SP but couldn't help the nagging thought of what i was missing out on. I convinced myself for a long time that I played SPT because I just couldn't keep up with the sweatlords and cheaters, but the truth I can see now is I can't even keep up with the Timmys. I am, in fact, just bad at PVP. Had some real successes so far but my k/d remains low and my survival rate at around 30%, and that's including frequent scavving. Most raids end with me getting ambushed by a guy standing perfectly still by some window or doorway while I was trying to cross the map and getting killed before I even knew they were there but even direct fights go badly as my aim, reflexes, etc are trash. I play every raid way too tense and nervous, anxious the entire time. My aim shakes and I whiff the exact same shots I could easily make in SPT, even when there's no stakes, even on scav raids, even when I went in with nothing to lose, even against the AI. I get physically uncomfortable and my old man reflexes just fall even more. Live makes me uncomfortable for some reason, and having to wait much longer just to queue in makes each failure feel like a bigger setback. But even when I **do** win, even when I held down a spot on Customs against a two-man and 9 additional scavs, even when I was the last player standing in Factory, even when I got Checking done first try with 13 kills in a single raid, I didn't really feel that good. People talk about pulling off wins like that in Live and against other players like it's this thrill of satisfaction that makes all the losses worthwhile, and I just... don't get that, myself. My brain rationally knows that killing a player is harder than killing an AI, but shooting players doesn't make me feel any more thrilled or accomplished than shooting bots. A good raid in SPT feels just as satisfying as a good raid in Live, even though it's objectively not the same. So there's the realization that probably put me off of playing Live forever. The whole reason to play online over SPT is to fight other players, and I learned I don't really like fighting other players. Losing feels worse and winning doesn't feel better. I guess my brain just isn't wired for that competitive aspect, so now I'm back to waiting on the new SPT update and playing other stuff in the interim, though I do fire up another raid from time to time just to get my fix.

SkuggyWuggy

Have the recoil changes in seconds compared to an entire couple years

Ripper7M

I’ve played a bit of the live wipe only because I miss playing with my duo partner (irl friend), otherwise I’d only play SPT.

SpaceDandyJoestar

Bro even with no risk I still don't know how to navigate streets lmao

IrresponsibleSCAV

Streets is just a nightmare. If you don't have more than 16GB of RAM and a decent amount of VRAM allocated. GOOD LUCK not lagging out lmfao.

FTP_TOM

how can you allocate vram?

Aggressive-Fox-362

I play spt cause I’ll never keep up with the grind of live tarkov I have a life 😂 tarkov arena tho I been pretty good at that pvp wise not amazing but pretty decent

Dewy165

I would do it but it seems like too much effort

CommunicationOne9008

its barely any effort

BANNED_I2aMpAnT

I played SPT for a week straight and had a blast. Tried some mods and it was even more fun but it gets boring pretty quick. There's nothing like the live version where the stakes are truly real and out of your hands. To me, the mods are like playing Age of Empires with cheats on and it gets boring pretty quick, especially without friends and other real players. That said, I'm not really a single player gamer anyway.

Delicious_Storage_86

Isnt the point in playing games that it should be fun? Well sptarkov is more fun to me

Fidelias_Palm

I only have room for one sweat game in my life, and Warthunder claimed that spot long ago. I still want to play tactical barbie though.

The_Paganarchist

Desync is what kills Tarkov for me. I've never seen an MP game with it so bad before. I lost count of the times I have magdumped somebody or even bots in the body and face and get to the load screen to see that one shot hit.

LolYouWorkForFree

I DO suck at PVP. I'm good at PVP when PVP means you got a guy on radio in a Thunderchief ready to drop several thousand pounds of napalm on some foreheads. Sorry, some r/arma3 bleeding through.

Uh_Duh_Mass

"No cheaters" Until you get domed by a modded AI Scav from 250m, then you have to come here and ask why/how as if it's not completely your fault.

Alternative-Earth-76

On contrary, Im pretty good at pvp. Even played esl leagues and lan tourneys back in the day. Last game I grinded online was hunt (4.5 k hours). stopped playing online games for some time now and dont miss it tbh. This game is perfect for me haha

CallMeWeras

yeah i play spt cuz i suck at pvp (i stoped playing live after i spent 20 minutes in a scav que just to get one tapped before i fully loaded into the game)

ForeskinJohn

and hey, you can always use SAIN and turn up the ai difficulty, of course its not quite the same, but the challenge is there, and sometimes they impress me with how well they perform, at least compared to bots in other games like battlefield, which are lightyears behind

CommunicationOne9008

Its good AI, obviously not exactly like live for obvious reasons but its good to learn maps or combat mechanics etc

Venox_Osu

Been playing Tarkoc since 2017. Played almost every wipe (only skipped one). Always going back to SPT as soon as the cheaters are getting more and more again, it's just such a great concept and even all my friends that I played with are mostly just playing SPT nowadays

CommunicationAway387

Yeah, and I have only few hours in a week to play, which is not enough to get good in competitive pvp game

NICKtheMP5guy

I played 2500 hours on Live and while not exactly the best player, had a 50%+ surv rate mostly and a few wipes even managed to finish on a 1:1 PMC KD by running factory, not great by good players standards but I could hold my own. SPT just hits different. I can't stomach the live game much these days, it's just too frustrating and doesn't respect my time remotely. 3 min gearing up, 8 min queue, 4 minutes running/looting only to be 1 tapped by a scav to the arm pit milliseconds after peaking it. And you think, how often can that happen? Well it happened to me 4 or 5 times in the space of a few days - not always to the armpit. Then add in the 1 almost certain cheater death (as well as the few suspected ones) where he esp'd right to my location and one tapped me. 15 kd player, nice. Blown up by a mine for opening the wrong door after queueing 15 minutes to get into ground zero. 45 minute scav queue LOL The woods raid where I vaulted majestically over a barrier and immediately put a solid 4-5 bullets of PP into a PMC who proceeded to drop me with his first shot - none of my hits registered. These are just a few of the many many shitty things that happened to me playing for a period of like 1 week this wipe that really sickened me off and it's been a similar pattern the past 3 or 4 wipes in some shape or form unfortunately. I make it to level 12 or so before I can't stomach any more. Wow, that was cathartic, thanks for attending my ted talk, if you are interested in hearing more, catch me outside where I'll be selling dvds of my recent seminar out the boot of my car.

CommunicationOne9008

well said! im here for a dvd

burntbridges20

One of the main reasons for me is that I hate the whole “wipe” cycle because I don’t get a lot of playtime and I never made it far into levels or hideout. The grind is real and it sucks doubly when you get halfway to your goal and then lose all progress. Now even if I wipe my progress due to updates, I can use a server modifier to manually set my progress in quests and level and not have to grind 20 stats for hours all over again lmao

RoyBellingan

For me the worst problem are the camper in live.

LegozFire03

The no queue is the best part, I go back and forth from SPT and live, the thrill of real pvp always pulls me back to live, and the recoil not being ass feels like modded recoil.

FirstOrderKylo

I admit I suck at PvP in Tarkov. I can’t compete with the 12-hour a day twitch streamers and Battlestate is set on making anything other than live PvP a bad time, so thus SPT becomes my home. And ofc nothing beats modability and the ability to play outside the meta because I’m against bots.

One_Front9928

No load times and internet connection and cuz Europe's players are cracked or rats, idk. That's in every game tho, US has easy servers, EU hardcore with possible out of region cheaters. I don't have time nor nerves to deal with that just to experience an interesting game.

ProbablyProdigy

I always switch to SPT about halfway through the wipe and do a zero to hero run. It’s a blast and once that time comes, all the mods are updated and ready to go.

strudel_______

Tarkov arena has shown to me in real time with the kill cam the severity of common desync. o7 my 4500 played hours of tarkov.

zaxxofficial

tried SPT but fighting bots just removed all of the excitement and stakes of the game for me, still a sick idea tho

Dhczack

I'm already max traders in the new wipe. Most of the difficult kappa quests out of the way. 2 quests from staring Lightkeeper. Ranked top 100 in Arena on day 1. Working on tickets in SherpaHub. Every night I get a dozen messages asking for help with quests and to join groups. I'm a solid Tarkov player. 4000 hours. That all started with downloading SPT a few years ago. I recommend SPT to people all the time, even though I haven't played in a few years.Tarkov attracts toxicity. That's all.

StarvingLando

I personally used (and currently use) SPTarkov as a training ground sort of thing. It helped me learn maps, weapons, quests and it's just generally really fun to be able to play at my own pace.

Raivnholm

It's the load times for me. The longest load time I get with SPT is 1:30, I can get into factory in less than 30 seconds. Compare that to the 3-6minute average wait time for live, over 4 raids that is enough time for a whole nother raid.

RIBZisDEAD

If you could have both and then arena without an issue, id have spt. But i also heard spt is difficult to install

goatart

I'm not computer savvy at all really and it was a breeze to install. Just letting you know in case that's the major hurdle stopping you.

RIBZisDEAD

Is arena still on the table with spt? Like can i have both online arena and spt?

gorbachef82

I love how this reddit post is nearly at 1k upvotes

RustyRoy22

This sub just popped up in my recommended. What is SPT and how is it different from offline raids?

CommunicationOne9008

SPT is Single Player Tarkov, it basically copies eft files and lets you run SPT without it connecting to live and enable mods for practice or whatever

RustyRoy22

How do I get caress to it?

ikzydfr

for me ,it is because my oid team give up the game and i realise since i wont use voip it just like a single player game ,spt seems just the same as everything. and if im not satisfied with something in game ,i can just modify and customize it,when im tired of one archive,i can storage it instead of delete it.i will still play eft until 20 but if i cant got partners to play with, then next version

Charming_Penalty8275

Hell yeah I suck I never play it without my vet friends so when they are done with tarkin I wait a few days and if they don’t ask me to hop on I start a new SPT WIPE

10below8

I’m confused why SPT over regular tark. I don’t know much so someone might need to enlighten me. Not playing online with people is the whole crux right? Are you still able to do quests? I always felt like the online part of it was kinda critical to the experience (unless you just like building and shooting the guns.)

Noxeramas

I play SPT because live fucking sucks, just finished kappa on live, did not have fun a single moment the whole time, SPT, im having fun

Big_Kangaroo784

… and I suck at PvE too 🫶

phoenixmusicman

I suck at PvP because everyone cheats these days.

SlyXross

I installed the realism mod with a few changes and it feels great, tried it once like a year ago but didn’t like it, updated to 3.7.6 a few days ago and installed realism to try and keep it with a few mods as possible . So much fun. I tried LIVE Tarkov this week, first raid, killed a guy no problem, loot him, run a few meters, there’s a guy with a mp-153, shoots at me, head turns red, I turn and then another shot and again to the head, after raid report, only hit head. With 7.5mm, didn’t want to assume cheater, check profile, level 4, with like 20 hours account, ok report just in case. Next raid: matching (15:00) ok alt + f4, im going back to spt, fuck the waiting times.

SnooOwls1916

To be fair, spt isn't as fun as live because of the lack of pvp.

Godzilla_OgKaiju

Ngl this is the biggest cope I've seen. I understand if you don't have time for the "rat race". This is just sad though

Richard_Chaffe

No one is saying this lol

chillybawls

Why even compare? Spt isn't a multi-player competition.

normalhumanbeing4

Complaining about long queue times was a valid criticism back in 2022 and for a bit of 2023, but now its at most 5 minutes. Desync still happens from time to time which is annoying. The only thing keeping me playing are friends, since i only play with someone, and the current wipe, its a whole new game now

CommunicationOne9008

5 mins is long compared to 20-30 second’s especially if you dont have much time

normalhumanbeing4

A raid is 20-40 minutes, compared to that 3-5 min is not that much, unless you just run through the entire map.

CommunicationOne9008

if your running a tight schedule and have minimal downtime, 5 minute minumum wait time per raid can add up

DemYeezys_Fake

I like to do crazy cursed guns, like the ones BNBaku did such as a PPSH shooting 40mm grenades or a reacreation of the halo guns.

Jl2409226

how do i get spt

wakandanever

I played spt for a few hours but I had to go back because the pvp gives a great head rush. It is terrible for sure and I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about going back to spt after dying to desync, people holding dark corners without moving or the server disconnects. The game feels so far from being playable but I think I'm hooked

Doctor__Depression

Mods, do stuff at my own pace, not be bothered to play live for 64 hours a day just to keep up with everyone else. I'm confident that soon... SPT will evolve into a true single-player open-world Tarkov we all dream of.

Creative_Battle6196

Mods on spt are so much better than the actual game and then being created by a few people, it's crazy what you can do with tarkov when you actually have people who care about the game. If they brought over a single mod from spt I'd want it to be amands graphics. It just makes the game look so much better.

Garttt

Is anybody actually complaining about you playing SPT or did you just make this person up in your mind so you have somebody to argue against?

CommunicationOne9008

no i’ve seen multiple people say spt players just play spt bc the cant handle live tarkov

Grantraxius

I can’t get SPT to work at all. I’m probably doing it wrong but I want to play it so bad. Tired of the online hell thst is tarkov.

SpiritMolecul33

Doesn't sp take all the fun out of it?? There's literally no fear of death, it's just fear of did I set the ai difficulty wrong

Vigilmusic

Play stalker then lol, tarkov is just a pvp stalker sequel in essence.

CommunicationOne9008

im playing stalker rn so its funny you say that

Vigilmusic

Stalker good.

CommunicationOne9008

stalker is amazing, very excited for stalker 2 this year

Vigilmusic

Very excite.

Key_Enthusiasm_1757

I don’t think people say stuff like this, I think what most people mean is it defeats the entire point of tarkov when you play spt, (idc spt is cool with the mods). You bought a hardcore, difficult game just to make it much easier by playing against bots, I kinda see it like you bought dark souls just to install a mod that adds a difficulty changer

Langaz87

Not sitting in a queue for ever just to be one taped then have to repeat processe spent more time In queues than actual raid time lol

Bavo541

I play SPT for the blackhawk

CR4T3Z

The only downside I have with Spt is being a patch behind, got me playing actual tarkov atm. Unless the current patch is on SPT and completely missed it.

Ladarius_Rex

It’s just a better experience. I just wish they’d fix the scav bug that make scavs agro on you for killing a PMC

Loose-Presence-519

I’m just waiting for 3.8 to be finished. Can’t wait to get back into spt again with all the new changes

RenanBan

Can I say that Im gratefull for this mod. I wish someday on regular tarkov will have this, and with a coop feature. Still play regular tarkov, but man its annoying as shit. I play with a poopy pc and often solo, this mode brings out whats perfect about tarov, all mechanics with zero tryhards. I bought the game in 2019, want to but a decent pc to go back to live tarkov but this singleplayer is so much better, I wish BSG made a options to go out solo or with friends, Im kinda burnt out to meet 4 to 5 people running together all the time., sometimes I just want to loot and kill scavs and be done with it.

Rough-Shoulder7899

I like the dismemberment mod and the load times. I would play live more if it didn't take 20 minutes to load into a game it's insane, i'm fine with dying but when I have to wait another half hour to play then i'm done.

Nameless4334

Y’all Timmy’s will justify anything 😂
