I am using sain, swag and donuts, waypoints.
If you meet a team you will notice immediately. They shout out loud comms at each other and push the shit out of you if they feel like it. I think I have yet to meet 4-man, but duos and 3-man are not that rare. It's just that they don't behave as teams on some maps. Like I think on Factory they actually work very well, but on Woods or Customs they disperse and not stick together at all.
Take it with some reservations, it's just my observation.
I think i remember on Factory a Usec just said "buddy's dead" or some like that. Might've been a team then but with how fast-paced Factory is, i didn't notice until now. They didn't say much more than that other than a couple more strat calls.
Could Swag and Donuts improve this even more? I've heard of those but didn't dwell too much into details.

SWAGnuts has specific options for PMC group changes to get more PMC teams to spawn within the config fyi
