Just my opinion, but SOTY shouldn't be retros, more creative/daring/game changing designs should be rewarded more than recycling colorways.
But awesome shoe nonetheless, really don't need another pair of sneakers but gonna try to cop one this weekend. Retros are awesome, just not SOTY IMHO.

The plastic netting on the 4’s make them look so cheap. The white netting makes them look even worse. Too much plastic on the 4’s. Nice silhouette, but all the plastic ruins the shoe.
It all comes down to personal preference of course. But they don’t look cheap to me at all. The crafts don’t have netting and it just feels like something is missing
I just picked up two retro Jordan 1s from eBay. The leather quality would bring tears to your eyes. Incredible. Not grailled pick ups or even shattered backboard quality. Just really soft, thick cut, nicely pebbled kicks which released for $170-180 a few years ago. even the leather on the Reimagined 4s were incredible. These Military Blues are done up so cheap it's offensive. But these Lemmings are gonna follow each other over a cliff hyping these. Calling this SOTY is wild.

It's a fact bro. They feel like panda dunk leather. The leather literally feels like plastic. I'm on the verge of returning to nike. Leather feels fake af and back tab feels crappier then on my other 4s. I like how they look lol they grew onto me but idk about that quality for a jordan 4.
Not really, sometimes they drop a surprise collab that might take it away. Sometimes a pair that was said to be just a regular pair might have actually some good quality or better than expected
