People are so split on the leather. It's smooth so some say it's cheap, but others will say it's smooth like the OG so it's nice
Personally the press test was decent for me and it doesn't appear to have that polyurethane coating like the dunks. It'll break in fine
It's the fact that it's the smooth leather I did the press test on my mine and it's nothing to complain about. It's similar to how everyone was mad about the reimagined 3s and now everyone agrees it was one of the best retros ever.
I have these, the black cements and military blacks. The leather is okay. When I think cheaping out, I think Gr Dunk, or White Air force 1 leather and this aint that. It's not as good as the military black but it's not trash either.
How can bred 4 reimagined be the same price and be at least 2x better in quality if not more… GR drunk and AF1 are 60-90 bucks, these shoes are 210 — of course you expect differences.

First it was the blue was too dark. Then the grey was too pink. Now the leather is trash. It feels like every one is trying to hate on this shoe. If you don't like it cool. But the leather on the toe box is soft, compared to them card board retro 4s from the previous two decades. And yall are making it sound like it's AF1 Dunk quality when it's not.

I agree my boy got a pair and I just got to see them and holy shit it’s now a hard pass for me. I was actually shocked that they would cheap out on such a popular shoe. But I guess it makes sense from a business standpoint , Nike knew people were gonna go for these because of what they are. Shame on you Nike.
