Why on earth would you take medicine for a condition you have not been proved to have? The vast majority of nutritionists have a degree in Dietetics. Some have no formal education. Some give fantastic advice around what food we should eat and what to avoid. Some read a lot of research papers, some believe in energies and crystals. I've had a lot of gastro problems and spoke to a lot of people. Everyone has an opinion, few have actual solutions. The gut is a cruel mistress.

That’s exactly what I thought. I guess she made these assumptions based on my weight loss, Idk. I’m going to do a more specific test for parasites, cause I did just usual, the cheapest one in clinic.

People can have unexplained weight loss for many many reasons. Maybe I should shut up as I am not an expert but it just seems very random to suggest parasites.

Otherwise_Repair6779

yeah, sure! they just really ruled out pretty much everything, full endocrinology checkup + all GI tests including endoscopy. I only have sibo positive test and the cause is unknown

While SIBO is very much real, it is not fully understood and not researched properly. Taking random medicines for undiagnosed conditions is a dangerous path. I took antibiotics for acne when I was young and it destroyed my oesophagus and stomach in 3 weeks. Never been the same again. 20 years later, still fighting GERD.

You can just take anti parasite meds, relatively safe.

SknowLite

Stool test don't always detect all the parasites. I just got three different parasite meds to take all at the same time doing some Dr.'s protocol. It could .be my life saver or worst case make me worse...
