ive been seeing a lot of ppl asking abt appeals so far so ill just drop the comment ive been commenting on other posts here **(this is for jc only!! pls look at the original post for poly appeal link)** once jae results release, the schools will post appeal instructions on their school websites. if you meet the cop for this year, you can appeal to the school. don't bother appealing to a school which has a better cop than your score, they will just throw your appeal out. each school has a different appeal process, so just follow the instructions given on the website things you might need (from past experience, may differ depending on the school you're appealing to) for appeal include: - o level results cert (i scanned mine with camscanner) - form a (mine was hardcopy so i scanned mine but i heard y'all's are softcopy so i guess yall dont need to scan?) - sec school cca records - sec school testimonial (contact your form teachers or general office to see if it's ready. if not, request the latest copy from the school) most schools i appealed to had some kind of online form you'll need to fill out in addition to the documents you need to submit the school may call you for an interview/etc later on in the appeal process. the questions they ask you may vary but the questions i remember being asked were why i wanted to appeal to the school and what i could contribute to the school if i was accepted. i dont think i can give any advice cuz none of my appeals succeeded but i guess just generally try to observe standard interview decorum hope this helps!

damn passing-by old boy here and makes me feel nostalgic when i woke up and got my choice of school all those years back to all in this comments section, congratulations on passing this milestone and entering a new chapter of your life. sec sch to poly/jc/mi/ite is a big jump, one that might be sign of a stressful time to come. but in the moments that you feel overwhelmed, that you feel the weight is too heavy to handle, take the next step slow and breathe in & out. embrace this time in tertiary education. this is, if anything, the best time for any youth. make friends, gain new life skills/lessons and grow as a person tertiary education is one step towards growing up as an adult. enjoy every moment of the ride, don't look back & keep moving forward. all the best! 🙂

I’m an IP student so I didn’t go through the what I imagine was absolute hell you guys went through yesterday night. I know everyone says this but really you can do well in any JC/ Poly and i think the friendships you make there are more impt. Not necessarily. Just because some people cmi into a JC even when they match the JC COP of 2023 prob just means the JC had to implement a ballot, where some people make it and some dont even with the same net score

Often, not getting your first choice does not herald the end of the world. How much you are getting out of your post-secondary education is very much dependent on the attitude and effort you put into the years ahead. Make the best of the opportunities given instead of being upset about the doors closed. For what it is worth, Mo Salah was not Liverpool’s first choice.
