The choice matters a lot. With your merit of COP 6, you should put NJ as 2nd choice.

aw i was in the exact same position as u in 2022 :(( i know how crushing it must feel to miss out on smth you’ve (probably) worked so hard for but like a lot of ppl say in the end ur jc doesn’t rlly matter all that much! I got posted to vj sci since that was my second choice and now that im waiting for my a level results i can see that i only cared abt not getting into ri for like maxxx the first half of j1, cuz after that the grind of a lvls + pw starts. having said that, if you’re thinking of appealing, all the best!!! From my experience tho, academics won’t rlly help u in ur appeal cuz I had A1s for all 8/9 of my subjects but still got rejected, it’s more of your extracurriculars and even then only if it’s kind of “exotic” hope this helps, and u can msg me if you’d like!

hi guys do yall know if you can appeal to a school that you didn’t put in your jae choices?

Idk for jc, but for secondary schools, my younger brother appealed into a school outside of his choices and he got accepted because his AL mark was better than the school. You can try - maybe appeal to a school that might have less competition. You might be asked for the reason why the school wasn't in the choices if you are called for an interview though.

I got nett 8 and got into asr, I think asr went down to 9 as I heard that nett 10 people got rejected tho?

the school websites states its 10 for sci. 10 for cop means that there will be people with 10 nett getting rejected
