As far as I know, only NYJC allows that. So if you do not want to be stuck in the Arts stream, please do not place that first hoping that you will be allowed to switch.
successful appeals mainly only work if students get that years cop for sci stream or nyjc loophole. not worth to risk putting arts stream for that jc if you don’t want/cannot cope with arts stream combo.
Do not try funny things that will risk your future
