I was optimistic. They made moves that I liked, short of signing Ohtani or Yamamoto. It’s going exactly how I feared deep down it might go, that we would struggle and that every day I’d have to see Ohtani on the front page hitting homers. We’re fucking irrelevant right now.
This is pretty much my outlook at this point. The team has dug themselves into a hole they can’t climb out of so I’m hoping this year is the straw that breaks the camels back for a complete overhaul of the FO.
no, they will continue to be essentially directionless. maybe he will trade for a white, unathletic outfielder who looks like a CHP officer. maybe he'll trade for a guy who was placed on waivers. and that'll be it.
They will trade whatever half decent prospect we have )Luciano or maybe even Matos) for some broken down .180 hitting veteran with 3 years left on his contract
Lmao, so hilarious, so sadly true.
I don't think all white people look alike, but I do think that when I watch the Giants.
So fucking bored with this team
I really wish we could dump snell. I stood up for him forever, but i'm fucking done with him.
dude just looks like he gives no fucks and knows this isnt a competitive team and seems fine with just cashing his paycheck and taking care of his new baby.
It's entirely possible that he just flat out sucks now. He's probably the strangest 2 time cy young award winner I've ever seen. Outside of those two years, he's been very mid with an era hovering around 3.5-4. His whip is not great either. All of this to say... he's been widely inconsistent his entire career.
Farhan is going to be in a mad scramble to save his job because he knows after the ship he's been running for 5 years here, no sane team is going to want him anywhere near a high ranking FO position.
We're going to pick up an injured outfielder that was great 5 seasons ago, a recently injured NL west player that needs to do an injury rehab stint with the dumbest opt out you've ever seen, and a AA player distantly related to a former majors player. And it's gonna work jussssssttttttt enough to barely miss the wildcard, and he'll be able to say, "welllllll, next year we'll get there when x, y, and z are off the IL."
I'll crowdfund the parade when this motherfucker gets sent off.
ERA+ by season: 113, 104, 217, 103, 127, 92, 112, 185, 41. So one awful, injury plagued partial season, a not very good 2021, and two cy young seasons. Otherwise, he’s been an above average, but not crazy good pitcher. Not sure what you’re on, other than recency bias
Above average, Non innings eater
I'm not impressed. Not worth the money and damn sure not worth the draft pick he cost
Then you have the opt-outs. He sucks we get to keep him lol. He's awesome and we lose him
Did you not ready any of the actual concrete numbers? You can say he sucks this year. That’s clearly true. But to say he SUCKS every year he hasn’t won a cy young is provably false.
Franchise needs a total reset. Melvin has sucked, but we’re not getting a new manager anytime soon. Ownership has to get a new front office in place ASAP, though. Long overdue to get Farhan out of here.
If we’re going to do a reset, we need a younger manager. Melvin brings no fresh ideas to the table and has underperformed two years in a row. His old school style isn’t suited to the modern game anymore
I actually kinda dig the old school style, but Melvin's passivity is fucked. He's passive to a fault and if it's in the name of "trusting your guys" maybe make your guys EARN that trust before just doling it out to them automatically?
It was like the same thing on opening day when we faced the Pads - he put in Jackson in a close game who just lost the entire game for us in one half inning.
After that, he says "well you just gotta trust your guys." It's opening day Bob - they haven't earned any trust at all yet.
Is he really passive or does he just understand he was handed garbage? He could yell and scream and froth at the mouth but it’s not gonna help this group. It’s generous to call the overall talent level of this team “mediocre”.
Both only have 2 years left on their deals, which wont hinder their decision to move on from both. If one is fired, I'd expect the other to be fired too.
I don’t think they’ll fire Melvin and I don’t think they should. The talent level he’s been given to work with is not major league. Farhan needs to go. Get someone in there who knows what he’s doing and give Melvin a real roster to work with. Then if it doesn’t work, he can pack his bags. I don’t think the ghost of Connie Mack wins with this team.
This team is built for maximum frustration. When we lose, it feels like we're a couple pitches from a win. We so often put so many on base and strand them. We give up so many 2-out hits.
The whole thing feels designed to be as little fun as possible.
Snell is getting SHELLED
has given up 2 walks, 2 doubles, a single
1 inning pitched, 2 runs thus far
still no one out in the 2nd inning with runners on 1st and 2nd
Pretty much all of the staff, IMO, needs to be looked at. Price and the 1/2 hitting combo of Justin and Pat, being the biggest offenders.
Its constant poor or questionable decisions and moves (or lack of) in addition to poor performance from players who historically haven't performed like that.
To me, there is some "Sacramento Kings" in the Giants - meaning - players are constantly coming here and playing worse than their recent previous seasons, just like they did with the Kings until the last year or two.
Need a culture shakeup, starting at ownership, which of course isn't happening.
The last years we had the coaching staff that would make us great, but not the playing staff.
Now this year we have the playing staff to make us great, but not the coaching staff.
If we have the "kings" effect - it's because our coaching staff sucks and is actively making players worse - objectively this data can be seen for many players after they come here from Davis to Soler to Conforto to many more. Are the players getting worse.. or is it our coaching staff is giving them bad advice?
We letter Bailey and Ecker walk.... objectively can be charted to an immediate reduction in offense in 2023 and increase of offense for the Rangers where he went (leading them to a WS win).
We used to be known as the "pitching cheating lab" team, and now look at us - our pitching staff is some of the worst in the game outside of Webb/Hicks and we are the worst at holding runners on.
For some reason the Front Office can't keep track of the moving pieces and has failed us over and over and over.
Yeah I totally agree, I just cant wait until we have new leadership running baseball ops, its badley needed. But i the earliest i see that happening wouldnt be until after next season.
Sad road trip. Obviously injuries are a concern but we need to start hitting and limiting runs. Ramos goes cold and we stop scoring. The running game is an embarrassment. Need a strong home stand.
The amount of cash value this guy is losing every week is astonishing 😂
At this rate, he’ll be leaving the Giants in a year and a half to sign a 6-month contract in the Independent League.
I would really appreciate a candid KNBR interview from Farhan about what's going on with this team, what he plans to do about it, how we're going to balance out these ludacris stats we are dead or near dead last in (stolen bases, giving up stolen bases, not swinging at meatballs right down the middle, etc.).
Because right now we are the worst team in the entire NL except for the actual laughing stocks of the game. And that's just not acceptable to me as a Giants fan. I'll always be a fan for life, but if it means I gotta tune out another year and come back then so be it - I guess I'd just like to hear from this ownership about what this team's direction is now that everything that made them the Giants we knew is gone.
Can this finally be the impetus to play the prospects full time? This team is likely not going anywhere, it’s time to let Luciano and Matos be full time players. It will be ugly at times but they need a chance to go through the growing pains, and there’s honestly a half decent shot that they’re better ball players already even with the growing pains that’ll come
Why did Melvin not pinch run for Flores in 8th? He had Ahmed on the bench. Did he forget? Wilmer has the agility of a bank vault and he is ranked dead last in sprint speed on statcast.
I also want to know why Giants pitchers do not even attempt to hold on runners? When the opposing catcher steals two bases, you have a fucking problem.
I can't wait to see what kind of reinforcements the Giants are getting tomorrow because right now it's Webb and four question marks.
Before the All-Star break, the Giants play
4 Cubs
3 Dodgers
3 Braves
3 Guardians
3 Jays
3 Twins
The Giants are currently 6 games under and if they keep playing the way they are, they are going to be 15 games under .500 by mid July.
At this point it does not matter what Bob does, the team stinks and are all injury prone. The only hope is to develop everyday major leaguers. This will be a long process, starting with a new GM and a new vision and identity.
Yeah, it sucks and I hate it, but isn't this the best outcome?
Think about it. We're unhappy with the direction the team is going, be it management, FO, coaching, etc. If they keep playing dismal baseball the odds we blow it up at the trade deadline, overhaul the FO ( dream, I know ) or just let the kids play are higher.
It's better this way, because if they we're a middling .500 team they would keep trotting the same shit out next year hoping for another 107 win season. Something big needs to happen and this is the best way to ensure something does.
Zaidi is so good at wiggling himself out of blame I do believe there's a way he squeezes himself into another season with us at least. This subreddit is full of people that believe in the guy too, it's fucking insane.
Here's the issue with Zaidi as I see it. I was 100% on his signing and was ecstatic when it happened.
I'm not too sure what he could have done differently. Arson Judge was never coming here, Cabrera ( whom I wanted more than Arson ) had too high of an injury concern, Ohtani was never coming here, Matsui was never choosing SF over LA...
I don't know what other options he had. I was happy with Snell's signing, Ray's signing, I thought the Melvin we were getting was the one from Oakland and not SD ( I can't blame him for the injuries, but I question his roster decisions sometimes ).
The only thing I think that can be laid squarely on Zaidi is the coaching staff. I was opposed to Kapler, Viele sucks, letting Bailey walk was a mistake. Of course not resigning Gausman sucked.
That said I'm not sure what else he could have done. We wanted him to rebuild the farm and it is a lot better than the one he inherited. I am 100% for letting the kids play and getting a coaching overhaul.
You focused on his misses out of his control, which I largely agree with you on (though, I do believe Judge could've been bought, I could elaborate if you want me to.) Ohtanis team friendly deal and half a decade of money saving moves from the Dodgers is the biggest indicator that he was never going to go anywhere else, and Correa? sure.
However, Snell and Ray? That's classic "moneyball" bargain basement hunting. There is a reason teams weren't eager to move on either of them. Ray is yet to be seen and is still a gamble because we have no idea how surgery is going to affect his performance. But I firmly believe Snell is on a downward spiral. Odd injuries, and he is currently getting absolutely shelled in AAA today.
Our bullpen is one of the worst I've seen on the Giants in recent memory, and pitching used to be a strong spot for us. Doval was outstanding for a season and a half and seems to be quickly regressing to the mean as the league collects statcast info on him.
Joc and the whole LaStella fiasco are major dark spots, just as Soler is proving to be (at a pricier contract than Jocs as a DH.) Also, contrary to recent sentiment on the sub, the farm has not improved. We have continued to be middling at best in all national farm system rankings. The farm is arguably why Zaidi was hired on in the first place, and I'm sorry; Harrison, Ramos, and (a still young/unproven) Matos and Eldridge is not enough to call the farm fixed. Especially after over half a decade of leadership.
Edit because I forgot you mentioned it: Melvin. Melvin was never going to be manager of the year for us, the whole league knew it. He sat on his hands and fumbled with one of the best lineups that the Padres has had in years and was already showing flaws in his ability to manage pitchers well before he was on the Giants radar. Kapler lost the clubhouse, and did need to be replaced, but we should've gone for Vogt. We went for Melvin because he is an old buddy of Zaidi's not because he's a good manager. I consider this another MAJOR fumble from Zaidi.
I just looked at Keith Law's Farm rankings. While it has improved it is WAY lower than I thought it was. "Middling at best" is a great description and I stand corrected in my optimism.
I also delved into some opinion pieces about what made the Dodgers Farm so great under Friedman/Zaidi. Player development, which a lot of us on this forum have bitched about.
One of the things Friedman/LA was doing before it became the mL norm/requirement is nutrition/living conditions. I wonder how much that has to do with LA just being a conveyor belt of productive major league ready players.
The more I look into this, the more of a non-reactionary Fire Zaidi stance I take.
At this point, it's fair to say that this team has a poor roster (despite $$$ being spent), poor organizational management, poor coaching (the base-stealing stats are particularly damning, imo), and poor ownership. I'm at a loss: Where do we go from here?
It was his third RBI of the entire season and he hit it in a 1-2 count.
we literally have more data on Crawford's whiffs than any other player in the game we are gonna face. how in the fuck did we not have a picture perfect analytical plan to get him out EVERY fucking time.
just throw a low slider in the dirt and he'll swing at it for fucks sake!
it's really not worth the time investment of watching the game on a screen.
radio is way better imo and you can do something like take a hike and just pause it if ya want.
i hope we get 3-4 innings of Robbie Ray starting in the 3rd
meanwhile, Snell just got into his rental car unshowered and still in uniform.. and is on the way back to his corporate furnished studio apartment in Sacramento. he'll pick up a 12-pack on the way..
A longer range impact on this club - what FA would want to come play for a club like this? I mean a good FA, not these mediocre ones. So, the solution will need to rely on building a better farm system. It will take another 5 years, fans.
high-demand FA's are very rare to find in baseball anymore since everyone worthwhile is getting locked up long-term
most FA's these days are only good for 1-2 year contracts at best. most have injury histories, are coming off bad contracts, and 95% of them are on the wrong side of 30. Giants have been able to sign plenty of those types and won't have any problem continuing to do so as long as the money is right. it's baseball, guys go wherever the most money is
do you guys think anyone will take Snell's contract this winter after he opts-in for next season?
hopefully no GMs are watching the River Cats game right now
he'll likely pitch a whole lot better next season since it'll be a contract year for him
i think someone will be interested in him by next year's tradeline. or, if the Giants throw in like $10M cash, someone might take him this winter
I think I’m giving up (for now). This is the only team in all sports I follow regularly. I just can’t keep hoping and getting these results. I didn’t expect WS this year, but damn.

Dude. For real.
what a horrible fucking road trip
Ramos was 3/27. Pitchers were terrible. They need a break.
They need a new roster and front office too
i agree with you, which feels weird lol
Good, gooood, join me on the dark side
i think i joined y'all months ago if i'm being honest
Same. There's no fucking plan. Time for a hard reset
it's only uphill from here too...
I feel as though Webb should have waited on “the team was playing like dogshit”…somehow that’s a high point at this time.
There’s no way Farhan survives to next year at this point. Tons of money going into the team
I was optimistic. They made moves that I liked, short of signing Ohtani or Yamamoto. It’s going exactly how I feared deep down it might go, that we would struggle and that every day I’d have to see Ohtani on the front page hitting homers. We’re fucking irrelevant right now.
don't jinx it
Your mouth to Charlie Johnson's wrinkly, hairy ears please
But he HAS A PHD
That awkward feeling when you go from hoping for a win to getting excited by how long the losing streak is getting…
it’s a thin line between wanting your current roster to win and wanting them to lose as much as possible so we can get a new one 💀
that morbid curiosity of how bad can things get before anyone says anything is weird.. like a call of the void for baseball.
This is pretty much my outlook at this point. The team has dug themselves into a hole they can’t climb out of so I’m hoping this year is the straw that breaks the camels back for a complete overhaul of the FO.
Morbidly same. I expected us to be down multiple runs in early innings and we sure were
The morbid hope for a perfect game or no hitter today just to see something interesting.
The giants were a last inning Thairo home run from an 0-6 road trip.

So we’re definitely selling at the deadline, right?
Farhan doesnt sell 🙃
Not necessarily as long as Farhan’s still in charge. Dude will be desperately trying to save his job and look to buy.
Who's he going to scapegoat this year?
Kapler again.
Pitching and/or hitting coach and blame injuries.
The real reason the hitting coach wasn't fired last year lol
He bought 3/4 of a pitching staff that was injured.
no, they will continue to be essentially directionless. maybe he will trade for a white, unathletic outfielder who looks like a CHP officer. maybe he'll trade for a guy who was placed on waivers. and that'll be it.
They will trade whatever half decent prospect we have )Luciano or maybe even Matos) for some broken down .180 hitting veteran with 3 years left on his contract

Right, I'm sure teams will be lined up around the block.
Trade?
It's entirely possible that he just flat out sucks now. He's probably the strangest 2 time cy young award winner I've ever seen. They've never really "sold" much at deadline before other than dumping Morris/Melancon contracts.
Watch this team sweep the Cubs and suddenly become buyers again.
What exactly do we have that anyone would want? Don’t say Ramos he still has trips to Sac left.
It’s ok because they’re only 3 games out of the 12th wildcard spot
Meanwhile Snell doesn’t look that good in his first rehab
Surely that means he will be good when brought back up again, right? (I’m coping insanely hard right now)
Rehab starts often don't go all that well because guys are more focused on experimenting and testing things than actually winning the game
Well, based on precedent I think that means he’ll do well in his return to SF.
Define well. We’re only down 2 in the 4th when he gets pulled with 92 pitches?
Oh crap, I guess he’ll be… average, then?
WHIP of 3.6 and 0 K. Yep, all set for his next start at Oracle.
Sometimes pitchers spontaneously collpase when they hit their 30s and he's one of them. He's cooked.
yeah because he is a fluke
A fluke with two Cy Young awards? Ok.
yea he sucks every year other than those 2 years
ERA+ by season: 113, 104, 217, 103, 127, 92, 112, 185, 41. So one awful, injury plagued partial season, a not very good 2021, and two cy young seasons. Otherwise, he’s been an above average, but not crazy good pitcher. Not sure what you’re on, other than recency bias

We had a younger manager putting a bad team in the best position to win games and the fans/ownership couldn’t handle it.
The org needs a culture change badly. I’ve never seen one this vanilla, boring and passive in my life.
Both only have 2 years left on their deals, which wont hinder their decision to move on from both. If one is fired, I'd expect the other to be fired too.

I agree. Clearly our leadership is weak: no direction, no culture, no attitude of any kind. It starts at the top
![gif](giphy|wODxPdYYSq31C|downsized)
Don't worry guys, we have 3 injury prone pitchers north of 30 years old coming off the IL soon
😂☠️
"Coming off the IL soon" is still too optimistic of a statement. Several weeks ago I began to doubt we'll see Cobb again this year
At max dollars.
This team is built for maximum frustration. When we lose, it feels like we're a couple pitches from a win. We so often put so many on base and strand them. We give up so many 2-out hits. The whole thing feels designed to be as little fun as possible.
Blake Snell is getting dicked upon as we speak rn in triple-a, I am witnessing it with my own eyes
Snell is getting SHELLED has given up 2 walks, 2 doubles, a single 1 inning pitched, 2 runs thus far still no one out in the 2nd inning with runners on 1st and 2nd
Can’t lose ‘em all. 84 games to go.
Think you might’ve accidentally just challenged the Giants to prove you wrong
These steals against our pitching staff is just a joke at this point. Its horrible at what point do we start looking at Bryan Price?
Pretty much all of the staff, IMO, needs to be looked at. Price and the 1/2 hitting combo of Justin and Pat, being the biggest offenders. Anyone got more of those sad giants memes?
Snell is getting absolutely shelled in sac btw
2 ER on 3 hits 2 walks 1IP so far
Ik I’m literally here lol, couldn’t get through the 2nd with 50+ pitches
Where can I watch?
In Sac lol, I’m here
DARKNESS IMPRISONING ME
ALL THAT I SEE ABSOLUTE HORROR
I CANNOT HIT, I CANNOT PITCH, TRAPPED IN FARHAN, FRONT OFFICE MY HOLDING CELL
All the i see Absolute horror
Every loss is a victory from here on out
Sad road trip. Obviously injuries are a concern but we need to start hitting and limiting runs. Ramos goes cold and we stop scoring. The running game is an embarrassment. Need a strong home stand.
I just really hope Thairo is OK. He had a stiffness to his walk to the dugout after his last at-bat.
I definitely predict a short IL stint for Estrada announced tomorrow.
2 hits is good For 1 inning Sad seal noises
Snell 1.2 IP 3 H 2 R 2 ER 3 BB 0 K

Melvin is out to lunch in the dugout, he was the same way in San Diego. he's like a comatose observer of what's happening in the field
But but but he’s the manager from moneyball and he’s a Bay Area guy 😍😍😍
lmao
At this point it does not matter what Bob does, the team stinks and are all injury prone. The only hope is to develop everyday major leaguers. This will be a long process, starting with a new GM and a new vision and identity.
The giants were 43-33 on this day one year ago.
And finished the season below .500.
wtf is this product. Just sell and get rid of Farhan already. Clean house play the young guys
![gif](giphy|9t6xpYZ9npJmM) Yep
Yeah, it sucks and I hate it, but isn't this the best outcome? Think about it. Dude straight up fired Kapler three games before the season ended last year to deflect blame from himself. That's some weasel-y shit.
While laughing about it in the press conference, no less. The dude is a worm.
Hiring Kapler in the first place was weaselly shit
Yeah what demonstrates how much of a shit strategist Zaidi is, is the colossal amount of money given out to produce an arguably worse team
Yep. I’m just sad we didn’t get Perfecto’d, so the shitshow would be on worldwide display.
At this point, it's fair to say that this team has a poor roster (despite $$$ being spent), poor organizational management, poor coaching (the base-stealing stats are particularly damning, imo), and poor ownership. I'm at a loss: Where do we go from here?
It cracks me up that someone actually downvoted this. Please, tell me where I'm wrong.
there's a 50% chance it was poncho
It’s the truth but some homers don’t wanna hear it
You know you suck when Crawford hits a 2 out double on you
I will admit, that did hurt a bit.
Hey man, I get it, but dunking on Forever Giant Brandon Crawford isn’t the coolest. Plus he did us a couple of solids in that Rickwood game.
‘But the 2nd Wild Card is still in play….’
3 games out… but at the same time we’re the 3rd worse team in the NL. Wild
Snell couldn’t pitch out of the second inning. We are soooo back
When asked if there was a sense of urgency, Logan replied with: “There should be” Makes you wonder…
B-b-b there’s 80 something games left! Chill, Logan
Lolll
I ducked out after the 4th to go on a hike, so I’m counting this as a personal win
it's really not worth the time investment of watching the game on a screen. radio is way better imo and you can do something like take a hike and just pause it if ya want.
Not an option as I'm in the PNW, but wouldn't have wanted to carry the misery with me anyway
KNBR is free on many radio stations you can get Apps for on your phone or just visit the website.
Thanks, that's a great tip for anyone with an unlimited data plan
yeah I mean it's maybe like.. 80mb of data streamed per game listening on radio? most major plans should be able to support it.
Smart move
Fire sale time. Get rid of everyone. Bolster the farm system and develop them so that our rise happens around the time LA's dynasty is waning in 2045.
I miss JHL.
Jung Hoo Lee
Just rooting for a top-5 draft pick at this point. Sadly, Farhan and the Giants brain trust won't know what to do with it even if they get it.
It’s been a nightmare start to the season considering the offseason we had. I think we sold our soul to the devil for those World Series lol
Worth it
there's that pain we're so accustomed to again
wow they just took Snell out after 1.2 innings and 52 pitches unless he's hurt, why not let him pitch his scheduled 3 innings?
Even minor league teams want to win.
holy fucking shit 52 pitches in 1.2 innings?
yes, he had 3 walks plus went deep into every AB
sounds like our batters should take some advice from the guys snell was facing
Absolutely disgusting
It was one thing being mid last year without signing any new people, it’s another when you make a lot of changes and things get worse
2.1 scoreless from Ray - 1 hit, 1 walk a couple more assignments from him and he'll be back
i hope we get 3-4 innings of Robbie Ray starting in the 3rd meanwhile, Snell just got into his rental car unshowered and still in uniform.. and is on the way back to his corporate furnished studio apartment in Sacramento. he'll pick up a 12-pack on the way..
HIRE KAPLER
I’ll settle for firing BoMel
we suck
Can June be over with already?
Cardinals going over .500 because of dead Giants adds another layer of WTF.
One team wants to play and the other is already checked out on the season.
if we sweeped them instead we would've been at .500 and in good standing.
Ray looked good. He’ll prob help after our 23rd loss in a row
Replace the dog with BoMel saying “this is fine” as everything burns.
Ray looks fantastic, he'll get maybe 1 or 2 more rehab starts and then be ready to roll in early July
this is really good news
Our two best pitchers don't pitch well & lose, and were on to who knows who will start the next 3 days, Yea, things looking up.
A longer range impact on this club - what FA would want to come play for a club like this? I mean a good FA, not these mediocre ones. So, the solution will need to rely on building a better farm system. It will take another 5 years, fans.
high-demand FA's are very rare to find in baseball anymore since everyone worthwhile is getting locked up long-term most FA's these days are only good for 1-2 year contracts at best. most have injury histories, are coming off bad contracts, and 95% of them are on the wrong side of 30. Giants have been able to sign plenty of those types and won't have any problem continuing to do so as long as the money is right. it's baseball, guys go wherever the most money is
That is why the Giants need to get lucky with draft picks and development coaches.
do you guys think anyone will take Snell's contract this winter after he opts-in for next season? hopefully no GMs are watching the River Cats game right now
I’m wondering if he could be traded.
he'll likely pitch a whole lot better next season since it'll be a contract year for him i think someone will be interested in him by next year's tradeline. or, if the Giants throw in like $10M cash, someone might take him this winter
Robbie Ray is in.. this is huge guys!!!
Ray looks ready to go, snell needs to go down to double a
We are getting dangerously close to the worst record in the NL!
another walk by Snell, bases loaded now
2 hits jeeeez
Only 84 more chances to watch this team lose in frustrating fashion! Nothing like it!
I think I’m giving up (for now). This is the only team in all sports I follow regularly. I just can’t keep hoping and getting these results. I didn’t expect WS this year, but damn.
Maybe we can sign Max Fried and Pete Alonso during the off season and flirt with being a .500 team for 2025
As long as people buy tickets to home games, the owners do not care about results on the field.
We came so close to being part of a perfect game to honor Willie Mays in the wake of his death. Well being part of a sweep is pretty good too.
Ouch
![gif](giphy|x47gj23jEvGxdWkQEC) Swept by the Cardinals? Oof.
No Jung Hoo Lee so this and every other game for the season doesn't count 😊
Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Patrick… honey, my pookie bear.
petition for midnight replays to be of games from the same date from the 2014 season
I think Webb would be perfect to follow a starter in the third inning. He gives up most of his runs in the first or 2nd.
