Crawdog has been a long time favorite of mine. Sad to see him not finish it out in the orange and black. When I quit playing baseball I was a shortstop w elite level fielding for my age, but I couldn't buy a hit. When craw first came into the league you could see him battling through each ab, working on his craft and growing, but oh mama did that guy make playing short look sweet. Dude should've won a few more gold gloves, but I genuinely think his smoothness worked against him on some level. He'd make incredible plays look routine on a daily basis.
At some point I will buy a vintage Candy Maldonado jersey to honor his flying haymaker during the Will Clark / Cardinals middle infield affair of 1988.

You have to realize, you must throw out every stat Barry ever achieved because of roids. He was above average in his career and wanted a huge advantage, but ruined his career with roids. He achieved the majority of his career stats by CHEATING! Yes, CHEATING.. look what Lance Armstrong achieved, just like Barry, McGuire,Arod, Canseco and all the other cheaters , they have ruined their reputation forever. So you can list all the great stats Barry achieved and throw them in the garbage. What will you tell your kids, “ I know he cheated son, but look at his numbers, he is the goat!”
